Today was finally the day I was gone be Mrs. Bennett. Well, Banks-Bennett. After we celebrated our kids birthdays we decided to rush plan our wedding & according to my mama everything was,

"You nervous?" Kirah asked me and I nodded.

"It's that obvious?" I asked. "What if he think I look ugly?"

I can't lie I was in between a nervous mess and my bridezilla side coming out but I just wanted the day to be perfect could you blame me?"

"Girl calm down." She said fixing my hair.

"Everything gone be fine Mook."

I looked at the kids running around and my nerves was already bad. I was gone lose it if one of them had gotten dirty and they had on all white.

"Journee, Jaylee', True, and Brielle." I said to my two 6 year old's, a now 8 year old True, and Jada's 3 year old daughter. "Can y'all sit down for me please?"

"Mommy you extra mean today." Jaylee' said going to sit down. "You need some of the green stuff daddy be having."

My eyes went wide while everybody else thought the shit was funny. I was gone curse Dayvon out for having that shit out around my babies. He knew not to smoke around them but he'll still have it out in the open like a dummy.

"Shut up don't even say nothing." Jay, my makeup artist said while he was applying my lipstick.

I pulled out my phone to text Kirah since I couldn't talk at the moment.

"Mook said." Kirah paused while reading. "Y'all ugly and she miss Von."

"It's only been a day Briann." My mama said fixing the bows on the girls hair.

"You can talk now." Jay said after spraying my face so my makeup could last."

"We together 24/7 how you mad cause I miss my man?" I asked.

"Y'all literally finna get married Mook." Jada said taking pictures of everybody. "Shut up."

After what seemed like forever I was finally ready. I was really about to get married.

"I can't believe my baby getting married." My mama said fanning her eyes. "I just wish your daddy was here to see."

"Ma please." I said not wanting to cry. "I know he looking down happy as hell I chose the right man."

"Please don't cause that was my best make up look yet." Jay said packing his things up cause he had more clients. "Congratulations pooh I'll be seeing you at the reception."

"Alright everybody out out out." My mama snapped rushing everybody and pushing me out the door. "Get lined up."

"Step in your shoes Briann." She said placing my heels down so I could step in them.

"Is it your wedding or hers woman?" My stepdad said making her look at him.

"Pops ain't no telling her just let her do what she do." Dthang said.

"Shut up." She said waving him off. "Journee and Jaylee' make my announcement like I told y'all to."

"My gran said if any of y'all say a cuss word in this church she snatching y'all lips off." Journee yelled out.

"And she said she dead serious too." Jaylee' added.

"Girl you did not need to yell." Dthang said. "We right here."

"Uncle don't hate on my twin." Jaylee' said handing Journee her flower basket.

"Who the fu-" He started but he stopped. "Get me out this church g."

"You bout to get married baby sis how you feel?" Durk asked me.

"I feel like I'm finna pass out I'm so nervous." I said.

"You got it sis." He said before taking his place in line.

This was really about to happen. The doors opened, Reese & Jada were the ones to start us off.

"You ready babygirl?" My stepdad said and I looked at him.

"Let's do it old man." I said locking my arms with his.

Happy Ever After by Case was playing while I walked down the aisle.

Soon as I locked eyes with Von all my doubts and nerves went away. This was for sure the person I wanted to spend my forever with.

Once we reached the front I was already crying I just know I looked a fool.

"We're all here today to celebrate the relationship of Briann and Dayvon and to be witnesses and supporters of the commitment they share with one another. Together we're a group of the most important people in their lives and they've brought us here to publically recognize that love is stronger together than apart." The minister said.

"With that being said, who gives Briann away in marriage to this man?"

"I do." My stepdad said unlocking his arm from mine. "I love you, babygirl."

"I love you more,dad." I said hugging him before he sat down and I knew it caught him off guard.

"Excuse my language." Von said grabbing my

hands. "But damn."

Everybody started laughing and I just shook my head.

"Marriage gives structure to a couple's love. It's a way to tell one another that no matter how much you spent while at the mall, we're still in this together. It's more permanent than the weird tattoo that Dayvon got on his arm in his early twenties and has more staying power than Briann's Lamron ways that she's had since they first met." The minister said making me laugh cause I swore I was from the block.

"Marriage is telling the person you love that you're not going anywhere and that's a powerful commitment for two people to make to one another. The vows that you are about to make are a way to share your love and commitment to each other in your own words. Sometimes poems, verses and quotes just don't get the point across the way you need them to and the best option is just to do it yourself. These vows are your way of openly declaring your promise to one another as well as to all of those who are here in attendance today. Ladies first."

"Okay well shoot. It's gone be hard for me not to curse cause we in church and that's sad." I said hearing Von chuckled. "I love you. I love everything about you, I love you you're a father to our kids plus my bonus baby True. We have our up's and downs but truth be told I wouldn't change our story for nothing in the world. All the hardships we faced is what made us the strong couple we are right now. Thank you for teaching me how to put myself first and love myself for once, I tell you all the time but I swear I appreciate you more than you really know."

After I read my vows, Dayvon said his and once Amir brought those rings up it was time to kiss my man, well my mf husband.

"By the power vested in me I now pronounce you husband and wife, you may kiss your bride." The minister said.

"Keep it PG-13!" My mama yelled out but I ignored her grabbing Von's face bringing it to mine placing my lips on top of his.

"You really my wife g." He mumbled against my lips.

"Daddy get off my mommy." A 3 year old, Amir said pulling at Von's pant leg.

He was at the age where he was a jealous mama's boy. I thought it was cute while Von thought his own son was a cockblock.

"This my woman lil boy." Von said laughing.

"It's my honor to present to you. Mr and Mrs. Dayvon Bennett." He said and everybody stood up cheering while we walked down the aisle with our kids.

"I can't believe we married." I said looking at the ring on my finger. "Briann Banks-Bennett got a nice ring to it dont it bae?"

"Sholl do." He said kissing on my neck.

"Honeymoon? I'm tearing you up, we having another son."

"Stop I don't wanna walk into my reception with hickies on my neck." I said.

"Man." He smacked his lips. "Just wait til after all this shit over wit."

Thank God my kids rode with my mama cause this man would not keep his hands to himself.

"Let me say something." Booka said in the microphone. "I'm the best man."

We've been here at our reception for an hour and Booka was already drunk off his ass.

"No cause you been drinking Book." My mama said trying to take the microphone away from him.

"Ma I promise not to say nothing too explicit." He said lying his ass off.

"Ha haaaaa mama let a real nigga on the mic" Booka said and I faced palmed.

"You embarrassing already g."

"I'm proud of y'all forreal though gang." Booka said. "Von used to fuck so many hoes but Mookkkk-"

"Alright that's enough." My mama said snatching the mic from him.

"Hating on my daddy." He mumbled sitting down.

"Y'all could've let me speak."

"Oh hell no." I said looking at Lo kissing on some girl.

This nigga done lost his marbles.

"What?" Durk asked and I pointed.

My nephew was 16 now and growing up I couldn't take it.

"Stop hating and let my boy live Mook dang." Dthang said. "Can't be a hater all your life."

"Same shit I be saying." Von said making me pull one of his locs.

By this time majority of the kids had something wasted on their wedding outfits and my mama just thought it was the cutest shit ever but I was pissed them outfits broke my pockets.

"Make sure y'all all take a picture just like that too." I said to every kid that ran past me with a stain on them.

"They gone look at that picture in a few more years and be so embarrassed." Jada said. "Mook i gotta tell you something."

"What?"

"I'm pregnant again." She whispered in my ear.

"Again Jada?" I said.

"Mook he keep trapping me and guess what? It's triplets." She said making me choke on the food I was eating.

"Mook why you choking?" Kirah said.

"Me plus 3." Jada said making an invisible bump over her stomach and Kirah's eyes went wide.

"See all that saying you don't want kids done bit ya ass in the butt."

"I knew you was pregnant again." Booka said popping his head in the middle of us.

"You nosey asl g damn." I said mushing his head.

When all my older family members left that's when the real reception started.

"Go ma!" I said cheering my mama on as she danced on my step daddy. "I know that's right girl."

Then I looked up and seen Lo's little girlfriend dancing on him.

"Aht aht." I said dancing my way over and sliding between them. "PG-13 miss mamas and Lo you know better."

"Man Mook let my boy live." Booka said dragging me away.

"Mommy look." Journee said trying to copy my mama and Von damn near lost it.

"Oh hell naw baby we don't do that." Von said picking her up and here came Jaylee'

"Daddy pick me up too." Her little voice said and he did right what she asked for.

I looked around and everybody was having a good time. Smiling and dancing, for once it was no drama and we could enjoy each other's company peacefully.

"I love y'all." I said wpicking up a sleepy Amir who was laying his head on my dress cause he was partied out.

"I love you too mommy." Jaylee' and Journee said while Von was walking to a table.

"Mir you don't love mommy?" I said following behind.

"Hmmm." He said actually thinking about it.

"Dayvon get your son." I said mugging him cause how you don't love me and I pushed you out? Please.

"You know we love you bae." He said sitting down and I did the same watching Amir rub his eyes again.

"Go to sleep Mir." I said kissing him on his forehead and then he wiped it off.. I hate it here.

"So I was thinking we bring the kids with us on our honeymoon." Von said.

"What made you change your mind?"

"I don't wanna be away from my kids." He said as the twins played with his locs.

"I mean it don't matter to me cause I wanted to bring them anyways." I said making him laugh.

"Where we going anyway?"

"Dubai." He said simply and I got happy as hell.

"Hold on. I thought your criminal ass couldn't leave the country." I said.

"Man my parole officer gave me the okay g it was supposed to been in a surprise asshole."

We gone be the reason my kids start cussing at an early age.

"What's was supposed to be a surprise?" An even drunker Booka came over and asked.

"Your nosey ass always find your way into somebody business." I said. "You don't need to drink no more."

"No you need to drink some more." He said sitting down at the table and laid his head on it.

"A drunk ain't shit." Kirah said walking up with everybody else following her.

"I can't believe my lil sister married g." Durk said. "You lucky you my brother nigga."

"Nigga just be lucky she ain't end up with an opp like somebody." Dthang said looking directly at Kayla.

"I-" Jada said trying not to laugh.

"And I oop." Asia said shaking her head. "You niggas know y'all messy."

"I hate y'all." Kayla said mugging everybody. "It was one time!"

"Don't even speak on it lil sis" Von said shaking his head.

"Aw I love y'all." I said looking around at the table. My friends, my husband, my kids, and my brothers were the ones I really loved the most."

Everybody called love you backs.

"I love you too best-I gotta throw up." Booka said hopping up and running to a trash can.

"Now who let him get that drunk?" Kirah said. "He going home with y'all tonight."

lmao okay this the end the end. i thought about doing a sequel w the twins & amir but it probably won't happen. i wish y'all comment LMFAOOOOOO cause the votes & comments less than how many readers these chapters be having and ion like dat. but i still love y'all.
