《My BadBoy》Chapter 5: What she dosen't know

*Mr. bad boy Himself P.O.V*
"Goodnight roommate of my dreams". Ashley mumbled, her delicate voice barely audible. I chuckled as I quietly slipped out and closed her door.
Damn I wish she wasn't off limits.
I knew she liked me, though I don't think she knows she likes me. At first I didn't care -girls always seem to throw themselves at me- but when we were on the couch and her eyes were practically begging me to touch her I....ugh whatever it doesn't matter anyway, the boss said she is off limits and according to him if I even look at her the wrong way I will get my dick cut off and quite frankly I don't want that to happen.
I need this big guy.
Running my hand through my hair I groggily made my way to my room and plopped down on my bed. Great, I thought to myself, another sleepless night for me. I probably shouldn't go to sleep yet anyway because i'm pretty sure the boss is going to call and threaten me again, oh and check on Ashley. She really is way different than I expected. First off I thought being rich and being close to the boss and all -of course she didn't even know who the boss was- she'd be extremely stuck up. And a major slut.
Ha! I don't even think she knows what slut means.
My Phone vibrated on my nightstand and I answered already knowing who it was. "She's safe and sound boss, you can stop worrying now".
He laughed on the other line. "Oh I'm not worried about her safety, I'm sure my right hand man will do good protecting the woman he's -dare I say- smitten with".
I choked. " I'm sorry what?".
"Jackson you're a good kid, really -hence the reason you're second in command to me- but I mean it if you hurt this girl in any way, any way at all not only will you lose your baby-maker, but you will also be deranked". I could practically hear the bastard smirking from the other end of the line before he hung up on me.
I closed my eyes and actually started to fall asleep this time when I heard a small pounding on the door. Groaning I grabbed my handgun that was hiding underneath my pillow and dragged myself to the front door where I aimed at the unknown person before opening the door.

" Wow dude!, chill out it's just me". My closest friend Aiden brought his hands up in surrender.
I growled. " Chill out? What the hell are you doing here it's-". I pulled my phone out to check the time. " Ten thirty".
" Oh sorry man, I was out handling some business for the boss when I overheard some guys talking about the girl you're protecting and how hot she is". He said poking his head through the door as if trying to get a glimpse. Aiden is second in command to me, which means he has to take my orders as well as the boss's, unfortunately that also means if I mess up he could also take over.
I balled my fist up outraged. " Who said that? and she's off limits".
He covered his mouth, like he said something he shouldn't have. " Um...they were just kidding man".
" Don't make me shoot you,". I threatened, he knows as well as I do and he's seen that with us being so close in rank to the boss, we don't...no we never send empty threats. " Brandon and Shawn".
" Take me to them,". I said slipping my gun in my waistband and grabbing a shirt that was nearby on the couch along with my shoes. "Time to teach them a lesson".
"C'mon Jackson don't do this, do you...have feelings for her or something?". Aiden shook his head at me as I stepped out and locked the door with my key.
" This isn't about me, this is about the fact that I've been hearing stories about Brandon and Shawn for a while now, and they need to learn how to keep their mouth shut,". I picked up my pace. " There were a dozen of our men on that assignment and a dozen enemies, no one was supposed to know she was under my care and now they do".
Aiden nodded finally understanding the gist of the situation. " Well when you put it that way....we need to handle this".
I pulled out my phone and called the boss, he picked up on the first ring. " This better be goddamn important because I was in the middle of-".

" Brendon and Shawn talked about Ashley on that mission you sent them on, Aiden overheard and i'm pretty sure Vito's men heard too". I cut the boss off hoping he won't kill me for that since it had to do with Ashley.
" Did Aiden handle them then?". He asked and Aiden's eyes widened.
" No sir, he didn't know but we're on our way now". I admitted.
" You can't leave Ashley alone dumbass! send Aiden back to watch her in case someone comes looking". He barked and I froze.
" Shit,". I mumbled and looked at Aiden, he nodded in understanding, pulled out his gun and ran back in the direction we came. " He's on it now boss".
"Good,". He said and started barking orders to some people on the other end of the line. " I'm sending reinforcements in case it's a set up, now you handle this...and be careful".
" Will do sir, wait...what do I do with the two men?". I asked before he hung up.
The line was silent for a minute and I thought I lost him before he cleared his throat and said, " We give no second chances. Get rid of them".
The line went dead.
My walk turned into a run, and my run turned into a sprint as I headed to the old worn down building not far from here. A black van pulled up next to me and I hopped in already knowing it was the boss's men. They handed me a bulletproof vest which I quickly took my shirt off and slipped in on over my body, then the black V neck shirt which is kind of our company's trademark uniform, except we don't normally wear pj bottoms and lower ranks don't get a vest.
You have to earn your way into our group.
They also gave me a pair of black leather gloves, so we don't leave fingerprints and a gun holster to wrap around my waist. They offered me a rifle and I had to ask, " Damn are we going to war?".
" The boss wants you prepared, he said it's worse than you thought". Jimmy one of the guys who has to earn a vest spoke, his voice monotone.
We arrived and were immediately attacked by heavy firearms forcefully piercing holes in the van. I dived out and aimed the rifle at a man who was shooting at the driver in front. He fell to the ground with a loud thud and the driver gratefully thanked me by nodding his head. We're family, that's what we do.
The shoot off was unpleasant but i've been to worse. Six of our men were injured and all of Vito's men were killed. I saw Brandon and Shawn standing in the middle of the building with a briefcase next to them and a hint fear crossed their eyes when they saw me pull out my handgun and walked towards them shaking my head.
"We didn't know I swear!". Brandon fell to his knees as my bullet lodged in his leg.
Shawn turned to run but also fell to the ground as another bullet flew straight through his heart. " You piece of shit".
We all turned to see-
" Boss I-I'm so sorry p-please...". Brandon started sobbing.
" You not only risked one of my best man's life today, you also lost me money and started a war between me and Vito. They know about the fucking girl now thanks to you. Jackson handle it...".
" Yes sir". I held my gun up and turned away then-
"No,". Boss snapped. " Make him suffer".
"Right". I nodded putting my gun back. Brandon gulped his eyes pleading with me as the boss stood behind me to watch. I closed my eyes, took a deep breath and when I opened them I wasn't jackson, I was only his body.
I dove for Brandon and my fist broke his jaw in just one blow.
