《Just go with it | Falice fanfiction》Chapter sixteen

After they had all met back up at the pool, they had decided to go back to their hotel rooms to cool down for the night.
But that wasn't the case for Alice. She had stupidly agreed to dinner with Hermione later that night, and had to somehow convince FP to go with her.
"Al, I just don't understand. Why would you say yes?" He asks her over the phone, taking a bite of his apple.
"Well because, I-I didn't say no!" She sighs.
"I'm not leaving here. What would I even tell Gladys anyways?" He turns his head and watches Gladys come out of the bathroom.
He places the phone on the table as he maneuvers his way off of his back to sit properly on the couch.
"What's going on, sweetie?" He smiles.
"So, today, you know with Fred pushing me in the pool... that was weird right?" She frowns, remembering what had happened.
"No, uh- he's a sheep-shipper, that's just what those guys do you know? A lot of horseplay with those guys." He makes up on the spot.
"Okay... I guess that makes sense." She nods her head slowly. "Well, I was thinking for tonight, you and I could have a little alone time." She smirks as she drops the towel that was covering her body.
"Hmmm" he admires her. "I'll get my rubber duck and I'll see you in a second." He tells her as she makes her way back to the bathroom.
He waits till she turns the shower on to pick up the phone again with Alice still on the other line. "Yeah, no I'm not doing this tonight. It's like my first night alone with Gladys."
"All I'm asking you is one favour, one favour! Just do this one dinner with me so I can save face with this horrible human being." She frustratedly yells at him.
"Well what am I gunna tell Gladys?"
"Would you just put her on the phone." She growls.
He rolls his eyes but makes his way to the bathroom nonetheless. He opens the door to hear her blasting NSYNC and singing along with it.

"Oh god.." he murmurs.
"Tell me she is not listening to NSYNC."
"No, it's coming from the elevator." He tells her as he finds the button to shut the music off.
"Hey! FP, that is my jam." Gladys pouts.
He opens the shower door and hands her the phone. "Someone on the phone for you, I-uh don't know who."
"Oh, okay." She takes it from him. "Hello?"
Just then, Ben had made his way in Alice's bedroom with a beer in hand. Alice's eyes widen as she had a solution. She covers the bottom of the phone so Gladys couldn't hear them, and handed it over to Ben.
"What is that?" He confusingly frowns.
"It's Gladys, I need you to get on the phone, I need you to ask her out and to just take her as far away from the hotel as possible for the entire night. Would you please just do this for me." She quickly explains, giving him a pleading look.
"No, I'm already drinking a beer. I just wanna hangout here." He refuses, and with that Alice slapped his sunburnt shoulder.
"Ouch!"
"Seriously, I need you." She hisses.
"What are you- no." She slaps him again. "Ow! Oh my gosh, fine."
"Take it!"
"All right." He grabs the phone with an eye roll.
"Hey Gladys, it's Fred!" He greets her and she looks at FP.
"It's Fred." She tells him.
"I had a great idea, how about you and I, we go and get some dinner tonight!" He suggests.
"Tonight?"
"Yes, tonight. We get to know each-other because I think it's important for the kids to have good symmetry in the family unit." Alice gives him a thumbs up.
"Yeah... let me just check with FP. Um- Fred wants to do dinner tonight?" She shrugs her shoulders.
"What? No, no no. Tell him- all right tell him I said yes." He takes another bite of his apple.
"Yeah, okay I'll see you tonight, bye bye." She hangs up.

"Awesome. Thank you so much Ben." Alice smiles.
"What am I even suppose to say to her all night?" He raises his arms in frustration.
"You spout crazy nonsense for hours all the time! Just do it, but do it far away from the hotel." She sends him a glare as she makes her way over to her closet.
"Okay fine, I'll do it. But if I do a good job tonight, can I at-least sleep with you in the bed?"
She shuts the closet door, holding a few dresses in her hand. "No, why? You've got a great private room." She motions to the bathtub he has been sleeping in.
He sighs deeply before making his way to the living room to watch some tv before tonight.

With a rented car, Ben and Gladys drove as far away from the hotel to an odd out of place restaurant.
"This is really where we're eating?" She questions, eyeing the goats, chickens.
"Yeah, the hotel says its amazing, so it should be good." He unbuckles his seatbelt and makes his way out of the car.
"I really don't know about this place, Fred." She crosses her arms, making her way over to him.
"No, it's fine. Come on, just ignore them." He whispers, walking past the scary men staring at them.
They sit down and order their food, and soon enough Gladys realizes that she's kind of having a good time. It wasn't that scary anymore, and talking with Ben, (who she knew as Fred), was making her giddy.
"So-" he snaps her out of his thoughts. "What's it like being with FP?" He cocks an eyebrow.
She immediately smiles and twirls a piece of her thick brunette hair. "Well-"
"Help! Help! Is there a veterinarian here? My sheep, he-he passed out, he's not breathing!" A young girl pleads loudly.
Ben starts looking around to see if anyone stands up, but is suddenly met with a hand tapping his shoulder.
"Him, right here! He isn't a vet, but he sells sheep for a living." Gladys exclaims, causing Ben's eyes to widen.
"Yes, I-I do, do that." He sighs.
"Please, come help! Please." She gestures them to follow her.
They both follow the woman to find the sheep laying lifelessly on the ground. He doesn't know exactly what to do, but to him that sheep was dead.
He walks up to it, taps it a few times and puts his hands in his pockets with a sigh. "Yes, well I'm very sorry but that sheep is dead... so-"
The crowd that had formed around them face's softened. Ben nodded sympathetically before turning around to walk back to his table, until a baaa was heard.
"Oh my god, no! He's still alive! Please you have to do something, please!" She screams.
"Well, shit on me." He mumbles.
"Okay, okay." He walks up to the sheep with a confused expression. What in the name of god was he suppose to do?
"Okay, here we go, yay!!" He starts shaking the sheep in hopes to wake it up, but it doesn't work. He growls in defeat before tearing some grass out of the ground and piling it in his mouth. "All right, here we go. Eat some food, eat some food." No response.
He sighs, he thinks of one last thing he can do. "Okay, one, two, three, here we go." He starts giving CPR to the sheep, groaning in disgust. When that doesn't work, he then starts the Heimlich maneuver, thrusting the sheep upwards so harshly that the crowd gasped.
"You're killing him!" One man shouted.
"Would you shut the hell up?" He screams back.
He continues with his movements, until finally a little toy shot out of the sheep's mouth, and it came back alive. Everyone cheered loudly, so happy that the animal was okay.
Meanwhile, back at Oceano's, FP and Alice were having their dinner with Hermione and Hiram...

8 195The Apocalypse Show - Dungeon Core
There were lot's of ways that people had predicted that the world would end. A few even had it partially correct. But how could they have predicted it would be a combination of the system apocalypse and aliens. Specifially aliens that wanted to create the equivlant of a TV show about the system apocalypse on Earth. Arthur woke up with a headache and the option to create a character. Most people would have gone with the safe choice and selected to stay a human. Arthur suspected that wouldn't be the safe choice in his new world. Instead he decided to see what other races were available. Eventually he decided to become a dungeon core instead. Of course being a dungeon core comes with a number of challenges. Starting with the fact that he was a giant crystal instead of having a body, managing a bunch of unintelligent minons, and most importantly the reaction of his human neighbors when they discover him. If he can overcome these challenges he may be able to enjoy some of the benefits. Such as the fact that dungeon cores are immortal and he would eventually have an entire army of dungeon minions that would obey any of his commands. Perhaps even find some female companions that are looking for a safe place during the apocalypse. Warning: If this fiction was a movie I'd rate it R for occasional scenes of violence, gore, nudity, and sexual content. This isn't something you would find in the young adult section. This does not mean that this would be rated NC-17 or X, if that is what you are looking for try lewd dungeon.
8 108Witchbone: The Goblins Winter
Themes found in these stories include friendship, found family, defying negative expectations, trying to figure out how to be a force for good in your corner of the world, doing heroic things even if you don't look or feel like a hero, and that being different isn't necessarily fatal. Summary: A spell of arctic weather. A mysterious death. The reading of a will. Strange tracks in the snow. Eleven-year-old Danny Hallow accepts his life, such as it is. His father is dead, his mother left years ago. His three Keepers are the only people aware of Danny's erratic and not-very-impressive psychic abilities. He has no friends, he's been suspended from school, and he's responsible for the life of a small brown bat that's ended up in his care. When Danny's estranged Uncle Enoch dies under mysterious circumstances, he and his Keepers are called to the town of Eddystone, New Hampshire for the reading of the man's will. Traveling four hundred miles from his dreaded hometown to attend, Danny is happy to get away, possibly inherit something interesting- and maybe find out more about his family while he's there. Arriving at the crumbling family estate of Gnomewood Home, he finds it to be hauntingly familiar, a bit creepy, oddly comforting, and possibly alive. When his uncle's will reveals that he's inherited Gnomewood and everything in it, he's determined to stay and make a happier life for himself in Eddystone, somehow. But at Gnomewood, he finds more questions than answers to his family's secrets. Disturbing old memories come to him in dreams. His psychic abilities begin to grow stronger, and as a result he becomes aware that a horde of cryptic creatures are plaguing the town of Eddystone, seemingly drawn out by the spell of an unusually frigid February. Toothy little goblins that are sneaky, vicious, and hungry. Goblins that take a particular interest in Danny. Will the emergence of the alien, and potentially dangerous, power he's inherited from his peculiar family tree help Danny survive the goblin infested winter, inadvisable attempts to befriend a terrifying boy with silver eyes, and a new school? Only if he learns to control them before they put him and everyone around him in danger. Before they convince some people that he should never have been allowed to exist at all. Before he becomes just another twisted tale in his family's bizarre history, kept hidden for centuries within the ivy-covered walls of Gnomewood Home.
