Series of Misunderstandings (3)
"What the heck are you two doing?!"
'Jungkook...?'
In an instant after hearing Jungkook's voice, Taehyung harshly pushed the shoulders of the one kissing him right now. He was confused, why would Jungkook shout at him if he's kissing him right now?
The crowd curiously turned their heads to the back, even with the small audience, Taehyung felt pressured with their confused and judging stares. He could tell that some of them actually saw what happened, while others painted confusion in their faces.
He looked at the person he just pushed, it was Jimin. Suddenly, everything around him made sense. Taehyung remembered everything that happened before he fell asleep on Jimin's shoulder.
"Taking advantage of your location on the theater seats. I'm surprised you had the will to do that." Hoseok remarked as he jokingly gave a slow clap. "Anyways, it was just a kiss Jungkook, people in mood do that all the time, no need to over-- where is Jungkook?"
Eunbi shrugged her shoulders and pointed upwards to Jimin and Taehyung's direction.
Hoseok mouthed a 'what' but his questions were answered when he heard a loud 'thud' coming from the upper seats, plus people's gasps.
Jimin almost fell down the chairs as if somebody punched him really hard, up there was Taehyung holding Jungkook's shoulders, burying his face behind his back.
"You son of a—!" Jungkook tried to land another heavy blow on Jimin's cheek, but Taehyung quickly covered his body to prevent him from doing so. Instead, he's the one who got punched on the side of his face.
Jungkook stopped flailing his arms after realizing he punched Taehyung. On his peripheral vision, he saw the crowd below unable to move, they were too awed seeing the drama.
"H-How could you, Tae...?" he asked quietly as he clutched his chest, breathing deeply trying to stop his tears.

Taehyung raised his head, ignoring the pain coming from his left cheek, showing Jungkook his swollen face. "N-Now you know how it feels seeing you kissing somebody right in front of me." he wanted to tell Jungkook that it was just an accident, but he can't help himself from telling the truth.
"Taehyung!" Jungkook raised both of his arms in annoyance and held the chair below them for support, giving Jimin a cold glare before continuing. "All I gave them was peck on the lips, I didn't even mean doing those. You were making out with this guy with fucking passion, how the hell would I feel a 'quits' about it?"
"W-What are you two talking about?" Jimin peeped into their conversation, he was the only one hearing their arguments after all. The audience below could only see their actions and crying faces.
"Shut up before I make you roll down this chairs." Jungkook gave an intimidating glare before he breathed heavily once more and crossed his arms right in front of him, slouching a little.
Taehyung couldn't stop his tears from trickling down his cheeks. He felt guilty about his actions after hearing what his boyfriend has to say. "J-Jungkook, I'll explain—" he reached out for Jungkook's hand, but before he could even touch it, the younger male stopped him by raising his right palm in front of him.
"Save it, I'm not listening." he looked away and coughed before taking in a sharp breathe. "T-T-Talk to me later, let's cool down first."
After that sentence, Jungkook walked briskly to the fire exit, leaving Taehyung crying on the spot.
"I-I only wanted him to hear my side..." he sadly said to himself.
Around him, he could hear the theater chairs closing and footsteps from different directions. The sounds told him that the people on the theater were already done watching the 'show'.
To their point of view because they didn't hear anything, Jungkook only confronted them about personal display of affection and stuff, then they argued because he punched Taehyung's 'best friend'.

"Are you okay, Taehyung?" Jimin worriedly asked as he patted the other's shoulders. Taehyung wiped his tears and just nodded, claiming that he was only crying because he was punched really hard.
Actually, the pain that was brought by that punch was nothing compared to the impact his argument with Jungkook made.
'I guess his friends are curious by now about what happened.' Taehyung thought as he continued wiping his tears to clear his vision.
He looked down to stare at the seat where Hoseok, Yoongi and Eunbi were supposed to be.
Eunbi was there looking puzzled as she fixed her things.
But he didn't expect to the other two running to the mini auditorium's doors with such pace.
Even Namjoon who was supposed to be calm and explain the situation for the audience, gave the mic to another person on stage and ran to go with them.
Why?
-
Taehyung didn't settle things with Jungkook, actually, he never saw him the whole day yesterday. He thought that maybe when Jungkook told him that they should 'cool down', he meant to stop seeing each other for a while so they could let their own angers subside.
"Tae! Only four more days before your birthday!" Jimin cheered, ruffling the other's hair as they walked down the empty hallway.
"I still got salty why my film only got second place, but we could eat on an 'eat-all-you-can' restaurant if you want." Jin said as he fantasized about the food he could think of. "Anyways, why did our project get second place if the audience impact was outstanding?"
"You undoubtedly won audience impact, hyung. But overall in different aspects, Min Yoongi's film was the best." Jimin said with confidence in his words though he noticed that the two was giving him a teasing stare. "B-Based on the judges, as I've heard..." he added.
Taehyung giggled and linked his arms with Jimin. "Chill, we're not saying anything, don't be defensive."
"Well, why are you both laid back? Didn't I just hear a rumor about you two kissing a few days ago?" Jin raised his eyebrow at them, waiting for a reply.
"J-Jimin told me he just wanted to remove a stain on the corner of my lips, but I pulled him into a kiss...I think I'm just overwhelmed with the dramas I've watched." Taehyung stammered, he believed Jimin's story on the first part, he knew to himself that he mistaken him for his boyfriend, after all. "Isn't that right, Jiminie?"
"Yeah..." Jimin softly replied, and Jin nodded because he was satisfied with their answer.
"Oh it's Rina, our camera director."
As they walked, Jin waved a hello to a group mate that he saw on the hallways. The girl smiled and waved back at him.
"Nice output, we did our best." he bowed down slightly at her, but before she could even reply, another girl classmate ran to her direction and pulled her away.
"Oh my gosh Rina, come quick to the courtyard!" said the girl tugging her arm.
"Wait, I'm talking Jin!" Rina planted her feet against the floor to stop her friend, which made the guys laugh. "Is it really that important?"
"Of course it is! Eunbi is making out with somebody on the courtyard!"

Unstable and weakened, will he be more hindrance than help? Can he become the warrior he once was?A Monk and a Monkey journey across a world...... where the remnants of technology are seen as magic, while pockets of humanity strive to drag themselves out of ignorance.... where the descendants of animal-human hybrids, once created as instruments of war, now seek to dominate the world as demons.... where beings who call themselves Immortals and Gods preoccupy themselves with selfish pastimes, ignoring everything else. Among other things, a story about growth, grit, and being better than the person you were yesterday. Here's my rambling on why I'm writing Journey West 5000. Journey West 5000 is my crazy ambitious writing project to adapt a classic epic called "Journey to the West" for a global, modern audience. It's a sci-fi story disguised as fantasy, and has some road trip + monster of the week elements (as does the original Journey to the West). No system, definitely no harem, gradual power progression. Hmm, what else can I put here so potential readers know what to expect? My writing style for now is mostly "show don't tell", because I believe that readers don't need to have everything pointed out to them, and that they should be allowed to make up their own minds about characters based on the actions of those characters. I'm also trying to be less long-winded (a weakness pointed out by some friends) in order to write according to something Neil Gaiman said, which is to write as though I'm the one who has to pay for every word, not the reader. This will bring down my chapter word counts, and might drive away potential readers, but I believe there's value in learning to compress and be concise. All chapters posted here will have been edited. Constructive criticism, comments, and feedback would be very much welcome and appreciated. Please, please help point out any typos or grammatical mistakes, I'm striving to minimize those as much as possible. Above all, I hope you enjoy my story.
