Chenle was focused, one eye shut closed as the other one narrowed in on the target- finger hovering over the trigger.
The girl on the other hand, began to mindlessly play with her Angel pendant around her neck, something her brother had gifted her the day before he passed.
There was a suffocating silence that clung in the thick air, Seowoo pursing her lips together as she clasped her hands behind her back whilst aimlessly kicking the ground under her trainer clad feet.
Chenle glanced back at her for a split second, expression unchanging.
"Focus."
"On what? I'm blind so I can't really see what's happening over there."
The boy let out a forceful exhale, gritting his teeth.
"At least act like you're interested, you have to take this seriously."
"I am." She replied, defensive.
"Really?" He bit out sarcastically. "You're more interested in the ground."
It was her turn to sigh, shoulders drooping as she made her way over to the edge of the roof where the ledge stopped her from falling to her demise.
"Isn't it scary?"
"Seeing you as a part of the gang? Yeah."
Seowoo sent him a glare before brushing his comment off.
"No, being in the gang- like...is it scary knowing people's lives are in your hands and yours is in someone else's?"
There was a pause before he spoke, nonchalantly firing his sniper skillfully to his target, Seowoo flinching.
"No."
"Oh." She replied, not too sure on what to even say to that. "When did you join?"
"Don't know."
"You don't know?" She furrowed her brows. "Why, did you lose your memory or some shit?" She half joked.
"No, what's it to you?" He asked coldly and she shrugged.

"I don't know, just making conversation."
"Go make it elsewhere."
"But you told me to focus." She pointed out and he threw his head back in frustration- his neck glistening in the beaming sun- only his dark eyes to be seen.
"Just shut up."
"Hm," she pretended to ponder. "No."
"Then go talk to yourself instead of me."
"But that's no fun."
"I don't care."
Chenle practically ripped his mask off his mouth so he could concentrate better without feeling overly hot.
"What do you care about?" She muttered mainly to herself.
"Nothing."
Seowoo glanced up at him after hearing is detached emotionless reply before tilting her head.
"Sometimes I think you're a robot but then remember you're a dick."
"Thanks." He commented wryly, his tongue subconsciously trailing over his top teeth to the right of his mouth as he dislodged a few more bullets.
"Sometimes I really want to just deck you in the face." She stated bluntly.
Chenle didn't reply to it, not even fazed by it.
"Seowoo~" Jaemin's voice entered through the ear piece, making the girl jump and accidentally nudge Chenle who almost growled out of irritation.
His eyes narrowed, piercing into her skin with his tongue poking the side of his cheek, rolling his eyes in complete annoyance as she sent him a sheepish smile.
"Yes Jaem?" She replied back, a little weirded out by the ear piece.
"I hope Chenle isn't annoying you too much Woowoo."
"I can hear you." Chenle muttered lowly as he sent another shot through a man's skull.
"Yes he annoys me a lot." Seowoo spoke as she began to aimlessly walk around the roof. "Also, I'm hungry."
"You're hungry? Don't worry we'll get food after."

"I want food." Jisung perked up. "Jaemin you should feed the two kids here."
"Exactly, you-" Seowoo was midway through speaking when all of a sudden she halted- making eye contact with a stranger as he made his way to the roof.
Her smile fell, eyes widening slightly as she heard Chenle's sniper still firing away into the distance as the male snarled with a sickening smirk.
She froze momentarily, pulse pounding behind her ears.
"Why hello there." She spoke out in a slight panic, earning Chenle's attention as he side eyed her from her weird behaviour.
When his gaze caught sight of the man, he cursed under his breath but flickered between the scene that was practically a war ground that depended on him to kill men off to Seowoo and the man.
The man raised his brow, twirling the blade around his fingers.
"Hello, I've come to stab you."
"Well, that's quite straightforward of you- at least take me to dinner first-!"
Seowoo narrowly missed his lunge, quickly moving out of the way as the adrenaline pumped through her veins.
"You better not make me angry."
"No promises?" She shrugged, ducking under his arm as he growled- lunging for her once again.
"Also, what was the thought process behind the skull tattoo on your face? All I gotta say-" Seowoo moved backward, his blade barely grazing her neck as she quickly moved out of the way to create space. "-is that it looks fucking ugly."
The man was beyond enraged, his blade clattering to the ground as he lunged and tackled her to the ground.
"Let her." Jeno commanded to Chenle who was debating on sending a single blow to his head. "I want to see what she'll do."
"His tattoo is ugly." Jisung commented.
Her breath was practically knocked out of her lungs forcefully as her head went smashing against the concrete ground, eliciting a groan of agony to spill from her lips.
The male straddled her, bulging eyes as he gripped her small throat in his rough hands.
Before he could apply pressure, Seowoo jerked her knee up to forcefully smash it between his legs.
Disoriented in pain, Seowoo managed to retract her elbow to jerk it into his face with a sickening crunch and a pained yell.
"Ouch." Jisung commented, watching it all intently. "I didn't think she was skilled."
"She got training, she's holding back." Jeno commented.
Seowoo immediately got up from the floor, heart racing frantically in her chest as she made a beeline towards the sniper boy.
Reaching Chenle, she pushed herself next to him and the edge of the roof so he was the one closest to the man.
"Kill him, quick!" She exclaimed, urging him as she gripped his jacket. "Just shoot him, he's going to kill me." She blurted out in a panic.
Chenle's stoic eyes trailed slowly from her face to her little fist grabbing his jacket, glaring at her as she screwed her eyes shut in preparation of the gunshot.
After a slight pause, she heard it ring through the air with the body thumping to the ground.
