Asher stood in between Rosalie and Alice behind the trees; waiting. The battle was about to begin according to Alice, "If you die I will kill you." Asher heard the familiar voice of Paul through the link, the girl just chuckled earning a look from the blonde beside her, "Its Paul." Asher explained pointing at her head, anyone not familiar with the supernatural wouldve thought Asher was insane but Rosalie just nodded and returned her attention on the clearing.

"If something happens to you call for us even if Jasper gets to you first." Sam told her, "I will Sammy, you guys dont need to worry, I'll be fine." Asher said through the link. "You believing that whole heartedly is what worries us more." Jacob said, "I'll call for you as soon as something's wrong." Asher said, she got no response knowing they all believed and trusted her to do so.

The sound of running and trees caught Asher's attention along with the Cullens and guardians. "Its starting." Asher whispered to herself, obviously being heard by the vampires beside her and the wolves close by. Jasper sent a glance his fiancee's way before turning his attention back to the clearing.

Before she knew it the Cullens and guardians were charging towards the army as they appeared in the clearing, Asher's eyes and runes were glowing the electric blue the other had become familiar with.

Asher fought her way through the newborns easily but not as easy as the Cullens. Alicia made her way over to Asher fighting newborns off together, they were surrounded soon enough due to Asher's familiar scent finally breaking through the mixture of wolf and vampire. Alicia picked Asher up from behind making it easier for her to kick a few vampires a couple feet away from them.

The fight seemed too real as Asher snapped necks and pull heads from shoulders with the help of Alicia or Rosalie.

Soon Asher saw Sam's wolf run from the trees, the rest of the pack not too far behind. Vampires, wolves, and guardians fighting off the newborn army together, the wolves giving them more of an advantage as they took vampires out with ease. Asher and the rest of the guardians were now side by side fighting off any newborn that got near them.

As Asher eventually ran from the group to help Esme and Carlisle a few newborns chased after her. Ome was about to tackle her until Jasper got to him first, ripping his head off, Alice and Addison took care of the other two that was after her.

Asher grabbed ahold of a newborn tossing her to Esme who held her down as Carlsile chopped off her head. The two vampires nodded at Asher who gave them a smiled before running off to the other newborns.

Asher was taken off her feet as a newborn tackled her. She landed with a grunt of pain as she tried keeping the vampire from killing her, she was struggling from somewhat becoming tired, the teeth of the newborn got closer and closer to her neck just before Paul's wolf got him off of her, biting down Paul killed him instantly. "Thanks princess." Asher said as Paul helped her up. "Are you sure you dont want me to get you out of here?" Paul asked fighting alongside Asher. "I'm positive." Asher stated as she ripped the head of the newborn off her body.

Asher saw three vampires get on Paul as he struggled to get them off Emmett came to his aid throwing off two as Paul got the other. "I knew you two would get along someway." Asher commented as she killed another newborn.

Emmett rolled his eyes at the redhead as Paul ran off to kill other vampires, Emmett nodded at Asher before leaving as well. Asher heard a familiar scream from across the battlefield. She turned seeing Jeremy fall to the ground screaming in pain as a newborn got closer. "No!" Asher yelled running towards Jeremy and the newborn.

She got there quicker than she has before fighting him off while fighting back tears of fear, once the newborn was dead, she turned around and Jeremy's screaming body wasn't there anymore.

"How long?" Edward said as he and Bella made it to the group and pulled Asher from her thoughts as she was holding a crying Alicia and staring into the fire that was burning the newborns.

"A few minutes, maybe ten." Alice said walking closer to the couple. "The pack needs to leave, the Volturi wont honor a truce with the werewolves." Carlisle said looking from the pack over to Asher who seemed to be in her own world even though he knew she was listening by the way her eyes shifted to Paul.

Asher hears growling, she turns and sees a newborn emerge from the trees beside Leah, who automatically goes into attack mood, Asher hears a whine from the she wolf, out of instinct Asher tries to go to her aid but is stopped by Asher and someone Asher didnt know was beside her. She looked down seeing a small brunette, she had only met the girl when she was frantically looking for Jeremy, Bree was hugging her waist keeping her from moving. "Dont." Bree said as Edward yelled, "Leah don't!" Asher was so out of it that she didnt even realize what exactly was going on until she heard the sound of bones breaking, a whimper, and Jacob's wolf falling to the ground.

"Jacob!" Both Asher and Bella yelled in unison, Asher saw the other wolves instantly get there and pounce on the male newborn, their teeth forcing him to release Jacob who crumples to the ground. As they pull him apart, Asher, Zachary, Edward and Carlisle appear at Jacob's side. Bella then races across the field to reach Jacob, shes on her knees beside Asher as Jacob shiftsbacm into his naked human form. He was grotesquely twisted and broken, barely able to breathe. Carlisle quickly examines him as he writhes in pain; Edward and Zachary steady him has Asher covers him up from the waist down.

"I need to set the bones before the accelerating healing kicks in." Carlisle said examining Jacob, "it's already starting Carlisle." Asher said, her was was monotone but still seemed to be laced with some worry for the wolf.

The pack made their way over to Jacob and the others not in their human form. "We'll take him back to Billy's." Sam said, the group moved out of the way and the pack replaced them picking up Jacob. "I'll be there as soon as I can." Carlisle promised them, Sam nodded and the pack left. Bree pulled onto Asher and the two girl walked over to Jasper, Addison and the guardians, "they're coming." Alice informed the group, Bree held onto Asher's forearm as she was standing in between Jasper and Asher.

Jane, Alec, Felix, and Demetri emerged from the forest and walked through the clearing until they were on the other side of the fire, watching the burning bodies through their hoods.

"Impressive." Jane said, looking up towards the coven and guardians, "I've never seen a coven escape an assault of this magnitude intact." Asher rolled her eyes, "first time for everything blondie." Jane just smirked at the girl's sassy remark. "We were lucky." Carlisle said sending a glance Asher's way as he was now in front of the group. "I doubt that." Jane remarked.

"It appears we missed an entertaining fight." Alec spoke up from beside his sister. Asher rolled her eyes, "yes, it's not often we're rendered unnecessary." Jane spoke up, "if you'd arrived half an hour earlier you would've fulfilled your propose." Edward jumped in noticing his future adoptive sister-in-law was about to remark.

"Pity." Jane said, "not really." Asher added earning the attention of Jane who looked at Bree with a smirk, "you missed one." Jane said now staring at Bree, Asher pulled the young newborn closer to her side out of instinct.

"We offered her asylum in exchange for her surrender." Carlsole said, quick to try and save the newborn. "That wasn't yours to offer." Jane said before turning her attention to Bree that was clinging onto Asher, soon the brunette's nails began digging into Asher's arm as Bree screamed in agony soon letting go of Asher and falling to the ground screaming. Asher ignore the small amount of blood coming from her arm as she came to Bree's aid, "stop!" Asher yelled. "Why did you come? Who created you?" Jane spat questions at the screaming newborn, "how can she answer while you're hurting her!?" Asher screamed, "you don't need to do that." Esme said looking between Jane and Bree, "she'll tell you anything you want to know."

"I know." Jane said with a smirk, Bree finally stopped screaming, the pain was gone and she gripped onto Asher again, somehow developing a tight bond with the redhead in only a few short moments. "I don't know! Riley wouldnt tell us!" Bree screamed as Asher instinctively pulled the girl closer, some would say Asher became somewhat motherly towards the girl.

"He said our thoughts weren't safe." Bree then said. "Victoria." Asher said, "maybe you've heard of her?" Asher said venomously. "Asher, if the Volturi had knowledge of Victoria, they would've stopped her." Carlisle said looking at his soon to be daughter-in-law as she held Bree. "Isnt that right Jane?"

"Of course." Jane said, "Jasper." Edward then said the honey blonde looked to his brother then to his fiancee once he noticed the look on Edward's face, no doubt Edward read Jane's mind. Jasper grabbed ahold of Asher's arms prying her away from Bree. "What're you doing? Wait no." Asher said as she tried to fight off Jasper but in the state she was in he was a whole lot stronger than her.

"Felix." Jane said, the tall vampire stepped forward. "She didnt know what she was doing, we'll take responsibility for her." Esme tried.

Zachary eventually had to come to Jasper's aid with keeping Asher back from Bree eventually giving the redhead to Addison as Jasper stayed beside the twins.

"Give her a chance."

"The Volturi dont give second chances, keep that in mind." Jane said looking between Asher and Bella. "Caius will be interested to know they're both still human." Jane said a sinister smile on her perfectly structured face.

"The date is set." Bella said, Jane looked unimpressed, "Addison Volturi, you know what you're duty is, take care of it." Jane said looking at the ex-volturi as she held her sister. Asher then stood straight. "Jane, chill the date is set, meaning the date is set. You're immortal I'd think you would've developed more patience." Asher shot back. Jane seemed taken back by the redhead but masked it.

"Take care of that Felix. I'd like to go home." Jane said turning her attention to the newborn. Felix stepped forward passing the Cullens on the way to Bree. Addison turned herself and Asher away and all she could hear was a loud scream and Bree's head being ripped off from her shoulders. Asher looked back just as Felix threw Bree's body and head into the fire to brun with the rest of the newborns.

The four left the Cullens and gaurdians. It was silent, a deafening silence. Alicia took Asher from Addison, "Carlsile the pack needs you." Alicia said as Zachary and William came up to the two girls, "what about you all?" Jasper said as his adoptive father nodded and left to the reservation.

"We need to find Jeremy."
