《Shawn mendes ddm imagines》Memories

~this isn't a ddm imagine. Your Shawn's girlfriend in this.
Songs I listened to while writing this: kid in love and because I had you~
You sighed as you walked out of the quiet airport and into the dark streets of canda. You wheeled your suitcase along side you and carried your guitar which was in its case on your back. Your manager had gotten you a taxi already and you put your stuff in before climbing in and shutting the door and putting your headphones in. When you reached the hotel, you dragged your stuff to your hotel room after getting the key and jumped on the bed and laid there staring at the ceiling.
Of course you knew, it would be hard to be in the hometown of your ex-boyfriend, Shawn Mendes, but you also knew that you owed a lot to your fans and you loved performing. You bit your lip and thought about the memories you had with Shawn.
"Maybe I'm just a kid in love
Maybe I'm just a kid in love
Oh, baby
If this is what it's like falling in love
Then I don't ever wanna grow up" you both harmonised as you played the guitar together, big smiles on your face.
"Come on y/n, you can do it. Just hold my hand and I'll keep you steady as we go onto the ice" he chuckled. He held your small hands in his large ones and helped you skate out onto the ice. After a little while you had gotten the hang of it and were skating around the rink together, hand in hand.
"Just take a deep breath darling. That's it. Inhale... exhale" he guided you as you prepared to go on stage and perform at MSG for the first time.
"I can't believe you sold this show out baby! Your gonna be amazing as always, I'm so proud of you" he told you as you waited to go on stage. When it was time for you to go on, you gave him one last kiss before going on stage. And you knew that the love between you both was one of a kind. One that was hard to find.

Tears gathered in your eyes as you thought to all the good times and then your mind drifted to the bad times.
"You could have told me though Shawn! I think I deserved at least a warning before I found out on social media and the actual video! We should have discussed this before you released it!" You shouted to Shawn, who was in Australia on his own tour, over the phone. Sometimes being apart breaks things.
"Shawn! Please just listen to me! I promise he came onto me! I would never kiss another guy while I'm in a relationship with you or anyone" you pleaded, hoping with everything he'd believe you and this wouldn't be the end of you both. Not all fairytales get to have their happy endings.
You soon fell asleep before waking up for soundcheck the next morning. As you were about to walk in the arena you looked over at Shawn's condo and sighed. Your eyes widened when you saw Shawn sat on his balcony with Karen. You quickly rushed inside the arena and began to get ready for your show tonight.
Shawns pov:
I was sat on my balcony with mum having a coffee.
"Y/n's playing at the Rogers centre today mum."
"Are you going?"
"I don't know. I want to fix things. I never wanted to end things with her."
"Go tonight then. After her concert, you can talk and hopefully fix what you guys had. Shawn I truly do think she's the one for you."
"Will you come with me tonight?"
"Of course."
Your POV:
It was the middle of the concert when You noticed them. Shawn and Karen were front row. You finished the song before going backstage to change your clothes. Once you were back on stage, you sat down at the piano and began to play a few chords.
"This next song, isn't one of my own songs but it is a song of someone that used to be very special and I believe they are actually here today. I'm not going to call them out but they know who are. This is because I had you."

I began to play the song and sing it.
As it got to the chorus I looked over to Shawn out of the corner of my eye.
"It's time for me to finally meet somebody new
Take him to all the places that You took us to
And he might help me forget, but loving him is something I could never do
Because I had
Because I had you"
You saw him bite his lip and and then say something into his mums ear.
Eventually you finished the song and went on to perform the rest of your set list until the concert had ended.
Shawns pov: (this is his POV of when she sang because I had you)
"...this is because I had you." She announced before her angel-like voice filled the air singing my lyrics.
"Mum she wants to move on. It's too late. We should probably just go" I told my mum.
"Shawn Peter raul Mendes, you do not give up. She's a special girl and you won't find another one like her. After everything you've went through and deciding to talk things through tonight, you just want to give up and let her go again because of a song that you wrote?!" She said
"I know. Can we at least go backstage? I know she's seen us and I wanna make sure she doesn't leave before I get the chance to talk to her?"
"Come on then" we went backstage and eventually the concert ended and everyone began to leave including mum who told me to tell her everything after.
"Y/n!" I yelled to gain her attention when I saw her. She stopped and looked towards me.
"Can we talk? Please?" I asked, stepping closer towards her.
"I-I need to get back to the hotel. I need to shower and pack" she said walking into her dressing room and gathering her stuff.
"Are you that desperate to get away from me y/n?" I said with hurt in my voice.
"W-what?"
"I spoke to your manager y/n. You here for the next week and don't have a show during that week."
"What is there to talk about Shawn?"
"Us. I wanna fix us. I made a mistake when I let you go 5 months ago y/n. I'm not letting you leave without trying to fix this"
"Fine. We can talk at the hotel."
"Okay"
Your POV:
You held the door open as you both walked into your hotel room. You sat down on the bed and faced each other. You both began to catch up with each other and it felt natural and you almost forgot about everything that happened.
"Y/n I am really sorry about what happened the last time I saw you love"
"I know. I'm sorry too I should've let you explain."
"Do you think we could try again"
"Yeah. Yeah I think we could."
He leaned and kissed you and you kissed back.
"Come back to the condo. You can stay there for the week."
"Okay" you kissed him once more before you both packed your stuff up and went to his condo where you stayed for the next week before you went back on tour and this time Shawn joined you. I'm

Palus Somni (‘Marsh of Sleep’) is a worldbuilding webnovel about what happens when your God forsakes you. Every night when the sun sets the monstrous Gol, colossal beings with too many teeth, awaken and roam the marshlands. Only those with a faithful heart will be spared. Young acolyte Wille has never seen the walls fail, but when a fellow nun is murdered within their sanctum the very safety of the monastery is thrown into question. Did the Gol find a way to breach their defences, or is there a human traitor amongst them? The answer lies both far in the past and deep beneath the earth, through the maze of ancient catacombs. With a cast of over thirty different characters, watch as your friends and enemies spiral into inevitable madness at the hands of a callous and unforgiving world. Discover the secrets of Palus Somni through letters, diary entries and notes found scattered across the monastery. Uncover the mystery of the grotesque giants that stalk the night and bring your challenge to the Gods themselves. Each character has their own handmade pixel art, and every update includes a music recommendation for a dark atmospheric dungeon synth album that you can listen to while you read. Slice of life meets cosmic abomination: Palus Somni is a collection of intertwining stories, some chapters are stand-alone tales while others feed into the overarching narrative. It is an exploration into a community, and rather than focusing on any one character the story meanders through the convent, exposing the hopes and fears of its inhabitants. Story updates every full moon.
