"Come on lexa I can't lose you now." I say quietly as I feel her pulse slowly slowing down. I can feel her pulse getting even slower until it comes to a stop.
"Lexa? Lexa! No please, please don't be dead I need you." I say as I fell to my knees, I don't even bother trying to hold back my tears anymore, what's the use? Everyone I love and care about is dead, if only I had stayed with her, or told Bellamy where I was going and to stay at camp then Lexa would still be alive.
As I'm sitting there in a ball on the floor next to Lexa's body I think I hear a voice "I need you to" I just shake my head I must be hearing things. I gather myself together enough to stand up. "Clarke" I hear it again I shake my head and walk towards the opening of Lexa's tent, I look back at Lexa one more time and turn away.
I slowly walk outside as I walk out I'm faced by most of the grounders probably wondering where there commander is. Lincoln walks up to me with sorrow in his eyes and sympathy. I shake my head and he clearly gets the message that I couldn't save Lexa.
"Where are you going to go now Clarke? You are very welcome to stay here if you want or I will take you home if that's what you prefer?" Lincoln asks.
"I... I think I will go home Lincoln thank you though in a few days I will come back, but um... What will happen to Lexa's body now?" I ask holding back tears as I feel them build up again.
"Normally we just burn it but for a commander there is a special ceremony, you are very welcome to join if you say you want to come I will collect you or send someone to get you." He says I think about it for a mintue.

"Thank you Lincoln, I will come if that ok will you, you know to say my finally good byes and pay my respects." I say.
"Ok I will come get you in a week, do you want me to take you home?" He asks.
"No, its fine you've done more than enough." I say, turning round and starting my long trwck back to camp I didn't want to bother him anymore so decided I will find my own way back.
'Clarke wait, you can go by foot its t far and you've been on your feet all day, take a horse. You can have Lexa's since um... It won't be used..." He says trying to be sympathetic. Lincoln shwos me over to a horse, pure white with a black stripe on the side of its face.
"Her name is Beauty." Lincoln explains.
"Well she is beautiful." I say running a hand along the side of the horse.
"Just like you" I hear a voice from behind me, I turn around to see...
