《Baby Batty》19

Gilly POV
I'm surprised Eddy went for it... I want floppers back but when he went all "Beta mode" as Kenzie calls it I expected him to say no.
"Alright you two." The Alpha says getting our attention. "I want you girls to stay put. Landon insisted on coming so I'm having Logan watch the two of you."
I look over at Eddy who shrugs. We were supposed to be left alone so we could follow them!
"Be good tadpole." I'm not sure where Landon got that nickname but it makes me blush... I never had pet names before.
"I always am!" I smile up at him and he kisses my head.
"I know you are... remember Logan looks alot like me but he's not. I'm not saying I'm jealous but my baby brother tends to get a lot of attention... I just..."
"I only have one beloved... one mate... one daddy." I tell him before kissing his cheek.
"Thank you little one." He whispers before they leave.
"Alright girls what do you want to do?" My Daddy's look alike asks. You can tell he us younger but the resemblance is ridiculous.
Kenzie POV
We need a plan. I see our babysitter yawn ind it's oh so easy.
"Tag! You're it!" I yell before running and Gilly follows my lead. He seems uncoordinated as he stumbles after us. I think he just got off work. After about 15 minutes we stop. I'd told Gilly the plan on our run so she does the next step.
"I'm tired!" She whines and Logan seems relieved.
"How about a nap girls?" He asks.
"On da couch? We can watch a movie." I suggest sounding extra cute and giving him big eyes.
"Sounds like a plan." He says and we pull up the Titanic. It is slow and perfect to help him nod off. It only takes 5 minutes for our plan to work and him to be out cold.

"You said you fast now?" I ask Gilly and she nods.
"And strong... daddy feeds me every day!"
"Shhhhh!" I stop her when she gets loud.
"Kay, I can fly straight there and you can run fast so we should be able to catch up. You bring my clothes and goggles for when I shift back then once they make sure it is safe we can sneak in and get floppers." I tell her and she nods. We can do this!

"So where is the bunny?" I ask watching the guys search the house.
"That room... under the floorboards." She points.
"Once they leave we can sneak in the back." I whisper and she nods.
We got in safely and up to the room no problem.
"Find him I'll keep look out." I tell Gilly sliding open the window so I can see what's going on. I listen carefully to their conversation.
"Find anything?" Daddy asks.
"They built cells in the basement." Landon says.
"There were ten... he truly is a collector." Eddy adds causing the other two to growl.
"Wait a second?" I hear daddy say. "You smell that, Landy?" They all sniff and look back at the house.
"Hurry up!" I hiss at Gilly.
"The board is stuck!" She says back and I help her with it until it finally pops.
"Come on guys! They aren't here. You left them with Logan, remember?" I hear Eddy say from inside the house.
"Run!" I whisper yell to Gilly.
"Not so fast!" We hear and look to the doorway where two angry daddies stand.
"Run!" I yell louder and make a break for the window as soon as I'm out I shift.

"Squeak!" I chirp out as I hear the glass shatter behind me. I look and see a wolf coming at me jaws open. I curl myself into a ball as the mouth closes on me. I didn't think he was mad enough to eat me!
After a second of not being chewed to bits I unfurl. It's like a cage. He didn't close his mouth all the way.
"Squeak!" I argue this treatment only to get a growl that shakes my entire body.
"You catch her?" I hear and he growls again turning to show them my capture.
"I got mine as well." Landon responds and I Squeak seeing Gilly was caught through the bars of my cage.
"Why don't you let her out and shift back?" Eddy suggests and daddy growls at him but walks over to the him where he is holding an extra pair of shorts.
Daddy sets me down with a growl telling me not to move. Once he is human and dress he picks me up in his hand and takes me inside where my clothes dropped just inside the window.
"Shift and dress." He orders and I comply.
"Daddy I can..."
"Not yet." He cuts me off before picking me up and walking outside. "Landon!" He comes over holding Gilly who is snuggling her bunny. Mission success.
Daddy sets me down and Landon puts Gilly next to me.
"Eddy!"
"Yes Alpha." Eddy says and daddy points to the ground next to me.
"Don't think I missed the fact that you knew they were here and tried to stop us from checking the house again. You were a part of this." He says and Eddy looks at the ground standing next to us. "Now explain."
"It's my idea... sorry daddy." I give him big eyes hoping to save my friends.
"I believe you were the mastermind... but I also know there was more to it. Try again." Daddy says and I pout.
"We needed to save floppers!" Little Eddy yells out. "An we were safe about it! The house was cleared first. We were 'sponsible!"
"Okay... floppers?" Landon asks.
"Daddy meet Floppers." Gilly introduces them and I can see his stern face crack. My Daddy's how ever did not.
"I'm glad you got your bunny Gilly..." he pauses before looking at Eddy and I. "But it still wasn't safe. Yes we checked out the house, Eddy but they could have been hurt getting here alone. What if we would have left and a vampire came back? If we hadn't caught them someone else could have... and you I thought we discussed listing when I tell you to stay put!"
"We did... but a bunny's life was at stake! You wouldn't have let us come." I argue and he sighs.
"Let's just get home." He says picking me up. "Don't think you are off the hook little girl." He whispers as we walk home.
