《Yandere Kouha Ren x Reader (Magi)》Decide Your Fate

Kouha stood there for a second just glaring at you. He was furious and it would appear to be because of you. His eyes seemed to burn with rage which terrified you and froze you in place.
"(Name)." He hissed out in a loud whisper. His voice cracked with anger. Hearing him say your name so evilly snapped you back into your senses. You took a step backwards with fear as Kouha speedily approached you. As you saw his form nearing you, you took one more step back. Right as he was reaching out to grab you, you took one more step back and felt yourself fall backwards. You let out a gasp as you reached out you arms trying to grab onto something. You saw Kouha's surprised look on his face as you fell backwards into the dungeon entrance.
The next thing you knew you were falling through some bright tunnel thing. Then, what felt like seconds later, you were on hard ground. You jerked up from what felt like a dream. It was dimly lit, wherever you were. As you moved your arms across the floor around you, you came up with the conclusion that you must be in some sort of cave. You crawled on your hands and knees and felt around some more. About a foot away from where you were, you could no longer feel the ground. As your eyes adjusted to the darkness you realized you were on a rock ledge. You looked over the edge into the dark abyss which probably led to certain death. You tried to see to the bottom, but to no avail. To make everything worse, you were terrified of heights so there was no chance you were going to try and climb down the steep drop. You felt around the walls seeing if you had any other options. On the walls you felt some sort of carving and upon further inspection you were able to make out some sort of language, but you could barely even see it much less read or understand it. As you felt around the walls some more you notice two holes, big enough for a hand to fit in, about two feet apart. You contemplated whether or not to stick your hand inside of some weird hole with who knows what inside. In order to avoid putting your hand in them you tried to look into them to see what was inside, but the darkness blocked your view. You sat on the ledge for a few minutes contemplating what to do. Should you risk putting your hand in or wait around and hope some other opportunity came along?

After searching for something else and sitting around waiting you decided that the holes were your only option. If you continued to sit around you would die of dehydration or starvation. Besides you were starting to get cold sitting around in this cave and would probably end up freezing to death if you didn't start moving. You went back to the holes and eventually convinced yourself to put your hand in. Inside you felt some sort of handle like thing and after feeling around a bit more something sharp and cold pierced your skin. In fright, you yanked your arm out of the hole to see blood dripping from a deep cut. You just hoped whatever cut you wasn't poisonous.
With dread you remembered that now you had to struggle to put your hand in the other hole. After your first experience it was an even harder challenge, but eventually you managed to shove it in. This time you felt something very soft and warm. Your cold hand immediately was filled with warmth and you really didn't want to move it away. After a while you started to move your hand to look for anything else in the hole. Once again you found another handle like thing. Before pulling it though, you took your now warm left hand out of the hole and put your cold and bleeding right hand in. You hand was filled with warmth, but suddenly the warm thing started to move. You still kept your hand inside the hole and on the warm fuzzy thing. That's when you felt a movement caused by breathing or, sniffing? Quickly you yanked your hand out and looked down at it. You saw the blood still on your hand, whatever was in there must have reacted to the smell of your blood. If it was reacting to blood that must mean it was a carnivore. You felt worried about the strength of the wall then let out a sigh of relief, it was a good thing you had cut yourself otherwise you would have left your hand in there and probably would have pulled that handle. You didn't know what the handle did, but considering there was some kind of beast in there the handle could only lead to something else bad.

You decided to go back to the other hole, the one that had the sharp thing in it. You put you hand inside and, this time carefully, felt around. You placed your hand on top of the sharp thing and gently moved your hand across it. It felt cold like metal. Upon further inspection you decided it must be some sort of weapon. You gave a little smile to yourself. You had been too hasty when you cut yourself and pulled your hand out too fast. The best thing to do would have been to feel around more and get a better understanding of what was inside. Finally, you decided that pulling the handle inside this hole was your best chance to survive, even if it was unlikely. So, you the grabbed the handle and pulled it. The wall of the cave opened up to a hall lit by shining geodes. A sword clashed onto the ground which you picked up and inspected. You saw a little bit of fresh blood on it which was most likely yours. Even though you didn't really know how to use a sword you were relieved to have one. It gave you a false sense of safety.
As you walked onwards you had an overwhelming sense of fear as you remembered how many people died in these dungeons. It was whole armies who had entered and never returned. You were just some village girl who had absolutely no combat ability whatsoever. You stopped walking and looked down at the ground. Your heart ached with despair. There was no way YOU would ever make it out of here alive. You felt tears fill you eyes, maybe you should just give up? You would die no matter what, just like everyone else who had ever entered this dungeon. You didn't even mean to fall in here, why couldn't you just go back the way you came? Why did you have to conquer the dungeon to leave? That was just it, you couldn't leave. You had to press on. Sure you were going to lose your life, but why not fight for it. You weren't going to give up or give into the despair. No matter what, you would die at least trying to survive! With tears falling from your eyes you took a step forward, and before you knew it you were running. Sure you were terrified and looked like a baby crying. But you were by all means not going to give up!
As you ran you came upon a bridge with some weird little creature on it. You figured you would have to fight this bizarre goblin creature, so you prepared yourself as you clenched on tighter to your sword. However, to your surprise it spoke.
"Give up, you can't beat me. But I will let you choose how you want to die."
"What?"
"Your choices are simple. Either I will rip out your heart or chop off your head. Ah, but there is a catch! You can't pick by saying what you want. You pick by telling the truth or a lie."
"I'm not sure I understand."
"If you say what I deem to be true I will rip out your heart, however if you say something I believe to be a lie I will chop off you head. The next thing you say is what decides your fate."

My Hundredth Life
I was an ordinary guy, living an ordinary life, until it happened. What we came to call the "Reality Break". Monsters started spawning in the streets, Mana flowed through our veins, Skills and Abilities were unlocked, and everyone had a Status Screen. I was living my dream, an RPG apocalypse! Until I died, that is. And woke up in a new world...where I died again. And again. With each death, a new incarnation, a new game world, and new scars upon my soul. Now, at my 99th death, I just wish it would end...but unlike in some of the worlds I have "played" in, this time my wish is not granted. *** Author's Note: This is my first 'serious' attempt at writing a story. I am hoping to turn ths into a series that I can publish to Amazon, but my life is a bit hectic right now, so I can't make any guarantees. However, I have serious reasons for writing at this point in my life, so I will do my best to provide this new twist to the LitRPG genre and keep it up for as long as possible. Thank you, to anyone who reads this. *Also, tags might change depending on how the story goes, there may be mild profanity or mild sexual content, but I have not decided yet.

Crafter's Passion (AKA Gleaners' Guild)
2038, California. Stan is doing his mandatory "volunteer" service years on a collective farm when he encounters Thousand Tales, a game that offers immortality to the super-rich. He can't afford to have his brain uploaded like those elite customers, but maybe he can turn a profit out of the game instead of just playing it. Not as a legendary swordsman or a brilliant wizard, but as a dealer in the junk no one else seems to want. If he plays his cards right, he can draw the attention of both the farm's supervisor and the game's ruling, meddling AI. Should he, though? LitRPG. Part of the world of "Thousand Tales", a novel series on Amazon, though no knowledge of it is expected. This story is around 12K words long. I'd appreciate feedback to help write a much longer version! Updates every few days. Cover art from game-icons.net, by Lorc, CC-BY. Update! This story was originally called "Gleaners' Guild". It came out on Amazon under the name "Crafter's Passion" and has many reviews there, thanks in part to the support of RR readers like you. Thanks! It even has a sequel, "Crafter's Heart".
