It's been about three days since the whole battle between me and Jude. The towns people understood what happened once we explained it to them. Everyone soon warmed up to Vulcan, even the kids as he gave them rides on his back. I was sitting in a chair on the pouch of a house the people gave to us to stay in. Most of the town was fixed already because of all the people living here. I sighed and slouched down in the chair, today was my birthday and I get to spend it relaxing. I closed my eyes until someone poked my cheek. I opened my eyes to see Mabel standing in front of me, a big grin on her face.

"Happy birthday, Ashlin!" She cheered handing me a present. I smiled as I unwrapped it finding a ring with a small ruby on it.

"I got it so it will match your necklace, and because that was the only thing I could afford besides food." She said happily. I smiled at her as I placed it on my pointer finger.

"Thank you Mabel, I like it a lot." I said as she nodded and skipped away like a kid. I just shook my head, not understanding how I can keep up with her energetic mood. I got up and walked into the house to my room. It was just an average room with a desk, bed, and dresser. I walked over to the bed and sat down on the edge. I grabbed the small box and letter off my dress that was suppose to be for me for my birthday. I've been wanting to open it, but I was to scared to do it also. I just stared at it in my hands.

"What's wrong?" Aladdin said standing next to me. I jumped and almost fell off the bed.

"You scared me." I said holding my hand to my chest, my heart pounding.

"Sorry, I did knock though." He said sitting down next to me. He looked at the box and then at me with a curious look.

"It's a present from my brother before he past away, I don't know if I should open it or not." I told him as he looked back down at the box.

"How about this, I read the letter to you, then afterwards you open the present." Aladdin said happily. I nodded, handing him the letter as I sat there waiting for him to start. He unfolded the paper and began to read.

"Dear Ashlin, happy birthday to my favorite little sister, I really wish I could be their for your birthday, but I have things at base I need to do, I hope mom and dad are doing well and you as well, I hope you like your present, it will explain a lot once you ask dad, enjoy your birthday, love Kyle." Aladdin finished as I held in my emotions. I didn't want to show anything, I want to be strong like him in as many ways as possible. I opened the small box to reveal a small tiara a princess will normally wear. I took it out and looked over it. It was silver with beautiful white flowers on it. A small note was in the box.

I couldn't hold it in anymore, I felt the tears rolling down my face as I closed my eyes trying to stop them. I felt Aladdin wrap his arms around me in a hug. I opened my eyes to see him smiling at me happily, is eyes shining. A small smile came to my lips as I place the tiara down and picked him up into my arms and hugged him. He laughed while I laughed with him. I loved having my friends around, they always cheered me up.

"Can I see it?" He asked. I picked it up and handed it to him as we both moved onto the center of the bed facing one another. He inspected it carefully before leaning to me placing it on my head.

"There, I think it's best to wear it at least." He said with a smile. I smiled at him happily as we both got up and walked out of my room to the porch. I sat down in the chair as he sat on my lap.

"Ashlin, do you think I'm a good friend." Aladdin asked out of no where.

"Yes, your like a little brother to me and there is no way I'm letting anyone hurt you on my watch, why with the question?" I asked him as he just shrugged.

"I couldn't think of anything to talk about, oh I have one, do you have a crush on someone?" He said happily, I was caught off guard as my face turned red just thinking about him. Aladdin saw my reaction and giggled.

"You do, your face is all red, and I know who it is, too." He said his grin turning to pure evil. I frowned at him as he just smiled evilly.

"It's Alibaba, I know it is." He said happily.

"No it's not, what makes you think that." I said with a huff, turning away from him with a red face.

"You llllliiiiikkkkkkeeeee him." He said rolling his tongue. I glared down at him while he laughed.

"So you want to play that game, alright then, let's see what you think of this." I said picking him up in my arms. I placed my tiara in the chair and covered it with the blanket that I was sitting on for comfort. He squirmed in my arms as I walked down the road to the docks. He knew exactly what I was doing and was squirming even more, trying to get out of my grip. I walked past Jack and Judar, them looking at me weird. I walked to the edge and smiled.

"1" I counted down.

"Wait, please don't." Aladdin protested.

"2"

"In sorry, I won't do it again I swear!" He yelled getting the attention of Quinn, Isabelle, and Mabel on the other dock.

"3!" I yelled throwing him into the water, he splashed in as he quickly surfaced and frowned at me.

"That's what you get for teasing me." I said sticking my tongue out at him. He splashed me with water as I squealed trying to get away. I felt someone pick me up in their arms. I turn around to see Vulcan holding me in his human form. He smiled evilly at me making me gulp.

"Bath time." He said before running and jumping off the dock with me. We landed in the water as I swam back up to the surface and glaring at him.

"I thought you were on my team." I said pouting.

"Sorry, I switched." He said going on his back floating. I swam up to him and dunked his head under the water. He popped back up and splashed me. Aladdin, him, me had a splashing contest as we splashed each other in the cool water. Soon Judar was standing at the edge just watching us be morons. I swam under the water and to the dock. I popped up grabbing his wrist and pulling him in. He yelled the F bomb before falling into the water head first. He came up and glared at me coldly.

"I hate you." I said bitterly.

"But three days ago you said you loved me and I know you still do." I said making him go red. The three of us laughed as he grumbled, swimming around in the water. I had to hold onto the dock otherwise I would go under from laughing. I took a deep breath and went under the water again. The seaweed swayed with the water current as the sun light up the ocean floor. Many different colored fish swam around in the water. I swam back up to find everyone vanished. I looked up at the dock to see the three stooges standing above me.

"Come on, it's cold and I don't want you getting sick because then you'll give it to me." Judar said pulling me out of the water. The wind blew a cold breeze making me shiver.

"Acho." I sneezed making everyone look at me. The smiled at me and then saying awe in unison

"Awe, you sneeze like a kitten." Vulcan said hugging me like I'm some cute little bunny.

"I do not, let's get back to the house, I'm freezing cold because of you." I said rubbing my arms.

"Just walk, I'll hug you so you stay warm." He said as I started to walk back to the house with the three boys following me. We got in the house as we all grabbed a towel and dried off.

"Acho." I sneezed again.

"Crap, I think she's catching a cold." Judar said taking my towel from me and started to rub my head with it, drying my hair.

"Hehe, that's the first time I didn't hear you swear for once." I said make him click his tongue in annoys. Once he finished he grabbed a blanket from the closet in the kitchen and put it on me. I sat down on the sofa next to Aladdin, huddling in the blanket. I heard the door open as the rest of the group came in to see us all wet. Quinn, Isabelle, and Mabel just shook their heads and went to their rooms. Hakuryuu and Morgianna went to the kitchen to make something for launch. Alibaba and Jack came into the living room and looked at us. I was starting to shake, freezing my buttons off.

"Thanks a lot Vulcan, know I'm getting sick because of you." I scolded him as he felt bad. Alibaba came up to me, putting his hand to my forehead.

"Your pretty warm, go to your room and rest, I'll have Morgianna and Hakuryuu make you some soup." he said pointing to my room like I'm some disobedent child.

"I'm not a little kid, I'm staying right here." I pouted as everyone in the room started to giggle. I looked at them confused. Alibaba sighed as he lifted me up into his arms making me shreek in surprise. My face turned beat red as he carried me to my room. He placed me on the bed, and covered me with the blanket.

"Now just sleep and I'll wake you up when your lunch is done." He said before walking out of the room. I just laid in bed with the blanket up to my neck.

"I can't sleep, and my head hurts." I thought as I rolled over onto my side.

"This is the worse birthday ever!" I couldn't do anything, but just sit their and think about random things. The door opened as Jack came in with my tiara.

"Oh, I forgot about my tiara, can you place it over on the dresser please." I said as he walked over to the dresser and placed it done neatly. He walked over to me and felt my forehead with his hand.

"Your burning up, why the hell did you go swimming in the cold water?" He asked like I'm some kind of moron.

"It wasn't my fault, Vulcan threw me in." I said frowning because now I'm sick because of him. I sighed as he sat down on the side of the bed.

"Do think I'm a good person." he asked me. I looked at him weirdly wondering what's up with these questions today.

"Yes, you are a good person, if you weren't a good person you would of been cruel and more likely try to kill me." I said truthfully. He looked at me happily.

"Well, I was thinking of staying here and help out the towns people with rebuilding everything, I'm also planning on staying here and start a new life for myself, what are your thoughts on it?" he asked looking at me with serious eyes. I sat up in bed and smile warmly at him.

"I think that's a great idea, maybe you will find a nice girl and live a nice life for yourself." I said thinking of the idea of him being happy. He smiled happily at rubbed my hair with his hand.

"Haha, maybe I will find nice girl, maybe someone that's like you." He said happily. I smiled, but started to feel sick.

"I don't feel so good." I said holding my stomach. He freaked, quickly running out of the room and coming back with a bucket, he handed it to me as I puked up my breakfast from this morning. He held my hair back as I puked my guts out. I coughed and gaged as my stomach calmed down letting me breath. He took the bucket back and placed it on the floor, then pulling out a handkerchief out of his pocket wiping my face.

"I can do it myself." I said taking it from him and wiping my own face. He picked the bucket back up and walked to the door.

"I'll be back, I'm going to go empty this out." He said before walking out the door. Right as he did Alibaba walked in with a tray of soup and a bowl with water and cloth. He set the bowl and cloth on the dresser and then faced me, placing the tray on my lap. He sat down on the edge of the bed handing me a cup of water. I accepted and drank about half of it and gave it back.

"I'm back, here's the bucket for her, she started to puke now. " Jack said setting the bucket by the door and walked away leaving me alone with Alibaba.

"You sure are sick aren't you, you should of taken a warm bath when you got back." He said with a sigh. I grabbed the bowl and about to grab the spoon, but he took it from me before I could grab it.

"Hey, give me the spoon." He said grabbing at the spoon. He soon took the bowl of soup from me as well. He scooped up some soup with the spoon and looked at me.

"Open." He command me. I looked at him with a red face, but couldn't tell because of the fever.

"I can feed myself, thank you very much." I said in a sassy tone, he just frowned.

"Fine, then you won't get any soup and you can stay sick." He said making me sigh a irritating sigh. I crossed my arms, closed my eyes, and opened my mouth. He placed the spoon in my mouth as the delicious taste filled my mouth. I closed my mouth him taking out the spoon.

"This is really good." I said looking back at him chewing. His face was red and had blinked a couple of times. I swallowed and looked at him questionable.

"What?" I asked him as he just shoved a another spoon full of soup in my mouth.

"Nothing, just eat your soup." I commanded again. I ate the spoon full of soup and just tilted my head to the side a little making him have a confused expression.

"What's up with you, your all commandy and stuff, it's kinda strange for you to act like that." I said concerned for him. He just smiled slightly and patted my head.

"Sorry, it's just your sick and I want you to feel better, that's all." He said, but I could tell he was lying. I nodded in response and continued eating the soup as he fed me like I'm some kind of child. I finished off the bowl and laid down on the bed, he placed the tray on the dresser and dipped the cloth into the bowl of water, placing it on my forehead.

"Thank you for taking care of me." I said not looking him straight in the eyes.

"Sure thing, I'm a friend after all, we look out for each other." He said before walking out the door leaving me alone once more in the room. After eating the soup my stomach felt better and I started to become sleepy. I closed my eyes, drifting into a deep slumber.

*Alibaba pov*

I walked out of the room and to the living room, plopping down onto the sofa next to Hakuryuu.

"What's up with you, you seem grumpy?" He asked as he munched on his sandwich he made. I let out a frustrated sigh.

"I'm just mad that she got sick, she just went through a lot and now she's sick." I said lying through my teeth. The real reason I was mad was because I'm jealous of Jack.

"He's always so close to her and not me, I want to tell her I have feelings for her, but I don't know when to tell her." I thought angrily. He just nodded and continues to eat his sandwich. I started to hear puking again from Ashlin's room. I got back up, walked to her room, to find her sitting on the edge of the bed, puking up all the soup she ate into the bucket. I walked over to her and held her hair back and patted her back for comfort. She coughed a couple of times before taking a handkerchief and wiped her mouth with it.

"Thanks." She said sleepishly. She laid back down on to her side and closed her eyes, going back to sleep.

"I'll tell her someday, maybe not tomorrow or a week later, but I will someday." I thought as I walked back out of her room, looking forward to the future with her and my friends.
