《Gangsta//Joker》Up on the feeling
Advertisement
Walking towards the room i felt like a celebrity. Not because i was meeting him but because of how everybody stopped and stared as i walked by. Now i know how bruce felt.
"If at any time you feel scared or want out theres a button under the table we can hear it out here but he cant hear it in there." An officer tells me pushing a tazer in my pocket and a tiny bible in the other and i bite my lip to hold in the laugh. After spending nearly 3 hours reading his file he was just an overgrown child who was a over dramatic attention seeker. Nothing more nothing less.
Opening the door i observe the taser before i hear locks clinking on the door. If he was so dangerous why would they lock me in here with him? Shaking my head i look over and see a pale man with neon green hair bright blue eyes and bright red lips. There was black powder smeared around his eyes making his eyes stick out and a crazed smile on his lips as he sat in the metal chair with a straight jacket on.
"Well well what do we have here?" He smirks as i walk over to his table and i smirk back.
"A psychiatrist but dont be tempted joker, this lab coat comes off and im not scared to hurt you if you try any of your little tricks" i say forcefully and he ooh's.
"Are you always this feisty? Or is it just because youre judging me based off other peoples opinions?" He asked smirking. I knew what he was doing, he was trying to take control as he usualy did with the others.
"I like to make my own decisions, besides if i listened to their judgements id be running away from you screaming bloody murder in tears, not asking to take your case" i tell him and he laughs.
"The kitty has claws!"he howls amused but i just stare at him waiting for him to calm down.
"Its only for you joker-"
"Oh now i feel honored! But you're just sweet talking me, arent you ashton? I bet all your friends call you ash, can i call you that?" He rumbles in his nasaly voice and my mind thinks back to nina and raven, how they ditched me in a club and still have yet to check and see if i was ok.
"No i dont have friends...and no you cant call me that!" I snap the last part making him grin wider. "How do you even know my name?" I ask i knew my name badge was on my desk where i left it. "And my friends USE to call me that" i blurt annoyed with the whole raven and nina situation.

"Ill be your friend" he smiles innocently and i cant help but to smile back. He played my game instead of trying to be in control, he was quick witted and very observative im not sure what everybody was scared of.
"Ok friend, tell me why you stabbed the psychiatrist this morning and killed 4 officers?" I demand and he shakes his head. "Well why not?" I ask and he looks down at his straight jacket. "You want me to take it off?" I ask leaning forward over the desk and he looks up nodding leaning forward slightly. "Tell me first and then ill take it off" i say.
"No, how can i trust you?" He snaps and i chuckle tapping his forehead with my pen making him snap his teeth at me and i giggle playfully.
"Why do you want me to take it off? Hmm?" I ask and hes quick to respond.
"It hurts and its uncomfortable" he deadpans and i finally notice his silver teeth and i cant help but stare in awe. Each one was silver and shiny and i smiled up at him.
"How can i trust you wont do something if you wont even tell me the truth? Thats not the real reason" i reply and he gives me a smug smirk. He knows i know about his manipulative ways.
"Fine! What i have in my hands is very...uncomfortable and if you dont take this jacket off when someone else does im going to hurt them with it and blame you" he shrugs lowering his voice to a threatening timber and i raise my brow.
"Whats in your hands?" I ask curiously leaning forward but his threatening grimace turns into a smirk.
"Careful kitty, its curiosity that killed the cat" he breathes followed by a light rasp. His tounge runs over his teeth and his eyes bore into mine.
"You arent going to hurt me, im too much fun-" i begin walking around the table and pulling out the keys from my pocket. "No other psychiatrist will go back and forth with you, they arent as quick witted as me or smart enough to keep up with you-" i say unlocking the locks. "Isnt that right j?" I ask pushing the jacket off and he groans stretching his arms, i watch his every move as i get back to my seat.
"Of course" he says dropping a bloody unsharpened pencil and a bloody playing card on the table. He leans back in the chair and i finally notice all of the tattoos on his torso and my mouth begins to water. Not only was his muscles nicely defined but his tattoos were amazing. When i snap out of my daze i notice he's smirking. The narcissist!

"See i proved you can trust me, now tell me" i demand and he leans forward making me swallow thickly.
"If i knew all i had to do was take my shirt off to distract you-" he teases sending me a wink and i ignore the chills i get giving him a eyeroll. "ok i killed the nurse because she was boring and the guards because they were also boring they all walked in order didnt speak and kept their eyes straight ahead." He shrugs playing with the strings on his sweatpants.
"You didnt kill james though" i blurted and his eyes snapped up to me.
"Oh him? He did me a favor and besides he doesnt know it yet but he's one of the only three people in here whos not boring" he tells me. "Arent you going to take that off the table so i dont kill you or someone else?" He ask but i shake my head.
"No im too much fun for you to kill, and eww thats disgusting im not touching that" i scrunch up my nose making him chuckle.
"Werent you suppouse to ask me the typical questions, how was my childhood? Why am i here? Why do i look like this?" He suggest and my next statement makes me glad for my complexion.
"I think you look kinda cute" i blurt and he grins instead of smirking this time to which i roll my eyes. "Besides i dont care about that stuff i want to know how you got those scars" i tell him and the doors begin clanking signifying theyre being unlocked and i pick up the taser from the desk and head over.
"Tomorrow?" He ask and i sigh seeing the mischief behind his eyes.
"Only if you behave" i promise sending him a wink and he nods with a smirk. This couldnt have been the man everybody was terrified of. Mustve been a different guy. Not even Halfway down the hall i hear a terrifying, bone chilling scream when i run towards it i see a injured officer laying behind him and him holding a gun to someones head. I freeze at the scene infront of me but the clicking of my heels catch jokers attention.
"Welcome backs toots," he smiles and 3 officers and the director run in. The director grabs me and trys to pull me out but the joker aims the gun at her. "Hey no need to be handsy with my lovely psychiatrist" he yells and she slowly removes her hand. A officer steps forward but he quickly gets shot in the head and i gasp.
"You want the gun? Shes going to come take it from me" he says and i slowly look up from the dead officer seeing he has the gun pointed at me but his finger isnt on the trigger. I slowly begin walking to him when im grabbed again. "Ah ah ah dont do that" he threatens.
"Ill do it" my voice cracks and i slowly begin to make my way over. Not because i was scared of him but i didnt want to scare him with any sudden movements. I hear somebody murmur that im insane before another gunshot goes off and i rush over to joker pulling the gun from his hands. "I told you to behave and in 45 seconds you do this!" I snap and he throws his arm over my shoulder.
"I couldnt help myself toots, it was just right there" he smiles pulling me closer pushing his face against mine and i want to laugh. My lip twitches and though nobody else catches it he does. Why did i want to laugh at his playfull ways.
"Im mad at you, im not comming to see you for two weeks" i tell him seriously and his face scrunches up before he shrugs.
"I can wait" he shrugs holding out his hands to be cuffed and theyre almost on both of his hands when i stop them noticing the bare table. "What is it now? Im cooperating" he huffs a laugh waiting to come out of his throat.
"Hand it over j" i snap receiving confused looks but he smirks at me humming teasingly.
"Hand what over? My hand in marriage? Dont you think its a bit to soon?" He laughs and i clench my first glairing daggers at him. "Alright fine, only cause you asked so nicely" he says pulling the playing card and pencil out his pocket and stabbing it through the guards hand and smiling innocently at me but groans when he sees im upset with him.
"Better his hand then his neck, am i right?" He ask and i grab his arm tightly to put the other cuff on when i notice how nice his skin feels under my grip.
"Its progress" i admitt looking up and noticing peeping toms in the doorway.
"See you in two weeks toots" he says before kissing the side of my head and being escorted out. What did i get myself in to?

[This book has been contracted elsewhere, which is why I am not updating any more. Please contact me if you want to continue reading the story.] God King Arya defeats Agni Asura Yaman. Two hundred years later, Asura Yaman reincarnates as golden prince, Suryadev, of RakhtaPrastha. Once he comes of age, a darkness begins to lurk in his dreams. Flashbacks from his past life erode his mind, his fate "unforeseen by the gods." As he seeks to heal, his path entwines with Vidyut, his long time rival. Hardened by the cruelties of life, Vidyut embraces the dark art of Tantra, for which he is both rejected and coveted by the people of the five kingdoms. Meanwhile, the kingdom of RakhtaPrastha is facing political turmoil and rival kingdoms, while the animosity between God King Arya and Yaman/Surya's supporter, Goddess Dimuka, is spilling into the human world. Princes, Spells, Gods, Spirits, Heaven, Mythical creatures, Wars, and Reincarnation, and so much more. It is based on Indian mythology, specifically Hindu mythology. But it is an original fantasy and focus is character arcs. It has BL/Gay content. Most Surya-Vidyut interactions are in the chapters marked Surya or Vidyut. The romance in this story is slowburn. **Daily Chapter Release** Cover Art Disclaimer: The cover art is using an image from Pinterest. The art has been kindly created by Ben Arisson. Starting chapters are heavily invested in psychology and philosophy. A story about John Keene exploring a different world. This project is similar to 'Ex Legacy' and 'Aidan Alastair'; they follow similar plots. 8 182Fateless: The Silver Lining
It has been ten years of peace for the Union since the end of the great war with the eastern barbarian tribes, yet in the cold north of the Union's land, a new threat is looming. This time, an ambitious Lord is seeking to restore the yore pride of his kin, forcing the weakened Union into yet another unwanted war, as he ramps up the ranks of his army with thieves, murderers and mercenaries.* * *The temperature inside the forge was nearly twice as high as the one outside. A black-haired girl hammered a steel ingot into the shape of a blade. The heat of the steam was draining her stamina away, but her focus remained sharp as her sweat streamed down her face. Hit after hit, for hours, the sound of the hammering steel followed the rhythm of her breathing. Exhausted, she placed the blade into the water and wiped the sweat off her face using a drenched rag. Why are they screaming? Vatra dipped the rag back in the water, twisted it, and approached the window. Her mouth opened as her world shattered again into the living nightmare she had wilfully tried to forget. She bit her lips; it wasn’t a dream. The pulse of her heart rose. A cold sweat prickled her back. A mother was running, and a child was screaming. A torrent of smoke was emerging from the roof of her neighbour. Vatra’s eyes blinked. The mother lay on the ground, a spear through her back. A torch circled in the air and landed on the roof of her workshop. In the distance, a man wearing a banner well known to the world… Fateless is a philosophical medieval dark low fantasy centered on war, militaristic campaigns and geopolitical conflicts between multiple empires. This story follows the fate of Vatra, a former slave from the eastern Nar Empire who was raised in a culture far away from her own, forced into warfare against her will, and the fate of Lanaya, an ambitious half-angel exiled from her home whose existence is seen as heresy. As they wished for peace, both chose a path opposed to one another until their fate crossed. In this story where war dictates the law, love strikes them as a poisoned balm to which they grasp for with all their might, as it is in the darkest of times that the smallest flames may burn the brightest. * * * Tome 1 already completed and available on Amazon: https://www.amazon.ca/Fateless-Silver-Hugo-Emmanuel-Simard-Wallot/dp/B09LGSH1KK Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/Hugo-Emmanuel-Simard-Wallot-100547579135891/ I will publish 1 chapter per week (sometimes 2 if the chapters are too short for my liking).
8 482Magikind [Original]
The third millennia, a time of change and evolution. An era, where people, through countless generations, have evolved strange powers and abilities. Through several centuries of selective breeding, these beings, known as mages, have become part of the very foundations of society. However, some refused to change or adapt. They believed in purity and refused to interbreed with magikind. Known as the manush, they were a rarity among society. Now, in the fifth millennia, the manush are thought extinct. With magikind ruling the world, a three-way war grips society. In these uncertain times, a manush called Gin, will herald a new era for all Magikind. A story of how man could realistically evolve while still pushing boundaries. Disclaimer: Chapters will be edited once the first volume is done. Bear the beginning for the time being, and hopefully you can see my writing improving over time (I've learnt a lot on how to write because of this (though I'm still not perfect :P)) Proud Member of Writers to the End, WriTE The link to the pledged fictions PS. If you find the 'notes' too boring or too info-dumpy, feel free to skip them and just read the main chapters. They're there for the reader to understand Gin's world (written in the perspective of Gin). But later on, we can see some interactions between the main characters and the occasional references to his past in the notes, so it has its purpose.
