"Chad's my boyfriend now!" Audrey said walking up the steps with her new boyfriend in tow, "And he's taking me to coronation so I don't need your pity date!" She then pulled Chad in for a kiss.
I glanced over to Evie, who had an unreadable look on her face.
My focus was then turned to Ben as he took my hand, "Hadey?" I bit my lip, "Will you do the honor of going to coronation with me?"
I froze for a second, before shaking my head, this way the plan, "Sure...I guess."
Ben broke into a grin, speaking into the mic, "She said, Sure, I guess!" Everyone then erupted into cheers and Ben kissed my cheek again.
Jay then grabbed the prince by the shoulders, "Come on, buddy. The teams' waiting for you!" I took a breath of relief in as Jay led Ben towards the field, taking this chance to wipe the spot where Ben kissed me with my hand.
"I feel kind of bad for Audrey." Mal said, causing me to look over where she was talking to Evie.
The taller girl looked at her, "You do?"
Mal nodded, playing with her hands, "Maybe if she was smarter, or knew how to sew, like you do, she would realize she didn't need a guy to make her feel happy."
Evie looked at Mal, smiling, "Thanks, M. But it's fine, I have my eyes set on someone else."
Mal looked down at her shoes, no doubt frowning, "You do?"
Evie then lifted Mal's chin up, so they were looking at her, Evie then leaned in, pecking her cheek, causing Mal to go bright pink.
"I'm pretty sure you can figure out who it is." Evie smirked, slipping her hand into Mal's, who only nodded dumbly.

I looked over at the field where Jay was being carried on the team's shoulders, after being named the Most Valuable Player. Maybe this game wasn't so bad after all.
"How you holding up?"Jay asked as he stood next to me as I sat on the cold bleachers, watching the Tourney team practice.
I only shrugged, my eyes training on the number seven jersey that belonged to none other than the soon-to-be King of Auradon, "He follows me around like a lost puppy." I thought back to just earlier today when Ben insisted on walking me to all of my classes, "And it's taking all of my willpower to not hex him into oblivion!"
The taller boy clapped his hand down on my shoulder, "Remember Hads, it's for the wand. Oh, here comes your little dog now!"
I looked up just in time to see Ben jogging over towards me, a large smile on my face. I whipped around to face Jay but saw that he was already gone.

"Son of a-" I growled at where Jafar's son had stood, mentally reminding myself to hex him later.
Suddenly an arm was thrown around my shoulders and I looked up to see Ben had jumped up next to me.
The Prince had a large smile across his face as his green eyes looked down at me. I only rolled my own brown eyes, pushing his arm off of me before returning my gaze to the field where the other guys were running laps.
"I was just wondering," Ben spoke, and I bite my lip to keep from screaming, he just wouldn't shut up, "If you wanted to study with me tonight?"
I looked towards the boy sitting next to me with an amused glance, before my gaze returned to the field, "You want to study with me?" The question came out with a scoff, though Ben didn't seem to notice.
"Yep." The boy nodded, his hair bouncing as he popped the p, his fingers lightly twiddling through a strand of my hair (a habit he hadn't seemed to drop no matter how many times I slapped his hands away) "I was thinking you could work on homework while I worked on some coronation stuff and-"
I cut him, quickly looking over at him as he mentioned the event where the wand would be present, "Coronation stuff?" I repeated his words slowly, causing the boy to shrug.
"Yeah, just entrances and going over what I have to say." He looked up at me, something I didn't recognize shimmering in his green eyes, "I was hoping you could help me with that?"
I surprised myself by not blurting out, No. Instead, I convinced myself that it was just a chance to learn more about the wand.
At the sound of Coach whistling, I quickly turned over to look at the boy and nodded, "Yeah, sure. I will study for coronation with you."
A smile broke out across Ben's face before he pressed a kiss to my cheek, causing me to gag slightly, "Cool! Meet me in my room at seven!"
"Ben!" We both looked over at the sound of Coach calling out, whistle in hand, "On the field!"
Ben nodded at Coach before turning to me, "I gotta go, but I'll see you at dinner." He then leaned in to kiss me on the cheek again, but this time I blocked it with my hand, shooting him a fake smile. He returned it, before running back onto the field.
I dropped the smile as he ran over to his position. I then scowled down at where Ben's lips had touched my hand, quickly wiping it on the metal.
"Studying." I mumbled to myself, rolling my eyes as I slung my bag over my shoulder, "Great."

A few hours later I cautiously walked into the boy's dorms, looking for any sign that would tell me where Ben's dorm was.
Just as I began thinking that I should just go back to my dorm and pretend this never happened, someone in the hall spoke up.
"Excuse me, Miss?" I looked down to see a boy, who couldn't be older than nine, with bright red hair and shining blue eyes looking up at me, "Can I help you?"
I wasn't quite sure what to say. Did I tell him the truth? But I actually had no idea who this kid was, he was too young to go to Auradon Prep.
The kid stood there patiently as I finally decided to answer him, "Uh, hi. I'm Hadey and-"
"Oh! You're Prince Ben's girlfriend!"
The boy cut me off, a large smile on his face revealing his front tooth was slightly chipped.
"I wouldn't say I'm his girlfriend-"I let out a yelp as the boy grabbed my hand in his smaller one and began leading me down the hall.
"Prince Ben has the top floor all to himself, though he thinks it's silly, he told me so!" The kid rambled as he lead me up a grand flight of stairs, his grip not letting up, "He talks about you all the time though! He thinks you're hair is awesome!"
I stopped walking for a second, but the boy continued pulling me along, "Wait. Ben likes my hair?" My hand that wasn't being held by the boy subconsciously went up to touch my matted blue hair.
The ginger boy nodded, "Uh-huh. He also thinks you're really pretty, and he says that you are the most inter-inter...."
"Interesting?" I guessed, a slight smirk on my face.
"That's it! You're the most interesting person he's ever met! And-oh, we're here." I looked past the boy to see that we had indeed stopped in front of a double wooden door, a coat of arms on each side.
The boy then dropped my hand, reaching over to knock loudly on the door as he called out, "Ben! I have your girlfriend here!"
I awkwardly adjusted my green bag over my shoulder as my shoes dug into the royal blue plush carpet.
A second later the door opened to reveal, Ben. His tourney jacket hugged against him and he looked at us with a lofty smile.
"Hey, buddy!" Ben greeted, ruffling the boy's red hair, causing him to giggle.
The Prince then looked up at me, a soft smile across his features, "Hey, Hadey." I nodded at him in acknowledgment.
"Ben, Ben!" The boy tugged on Ben's jacket, forcing him to look down, "Mom said I could help cook dessert for tomorrow!"
Ben chuckled, kneeling down next to the boy so they were eye-to-eye, "Did she now?"
The boy shrugged, "Well, she said I could taste it but same difference."
We all looked up at the sound of the clocktower ringing, signaling it was seven.
"I gotta go! Max said he would let me help feed the horses today!" The boy called excitedly as he was halfway down the hall, "Bye, Prince Ben! Bye, Prince Ben's girlfriend!"
Ben chuckled, standing up and waving after the boy as he disappeared around the corner, "Bye, Chip!"
I whistled lowly, playing with the end of my green and black striped shirt, "He's...something."
Ben laughed a warm laugh, it almost reminded me of hot chocolate. His green eyes crinkled as he smiled from ear-to-ear.
"That is definitely a word for it." He nodded, before motioning to the door, "Would you like to come in?"
I nodded, which looked more like a peck, watching as he pulled open the door for me. I had noticed holding doors was a thing everyone seemed to do here.
My hands fidgeted with my backpack strap as I nodded at the Prince as I walked into the room, "Thanks."
Ben's room represented him to say the least. It was very large, obviously meant for a king. Blue and yellow (the colors of Auradon) were everywhere around the room: lamps, rugs, curtains, pillows.
But the room was also kind of a mess. Not like Jay's room or anything, but it was almost organized chaos. Books and loose papers flooded the desk in the corner, some falling down to the wooden floors underneath.
"Sorry it's such a mess," I looked over my shoulder towards a sheepish looking Ben, "It's just a lot of-"
I cut him off, leaning against the large wooden dresser by the window as I faced him head on, "Coronation stuff? Yeah, sounds like a lot of hard work."
Ben shrugged as he walked over and sat on the edge of his bed, "Well yeah, but it's a big thing. People are calling it the most important thing in Auradon."
A small frown graced his features and for a moment I almost felt bad for him, that was a lot of pressure. To feel like everyone was expecting you to do something, I knew what that was like.
Ben snapped out of it a moment later, a smile plastered back over his face as he looked up at me, "Hey, are you hungry?"
