"She is both Hellfire and Holy water and the flavor you taste depends on how you treat her"

The fire haired girl lies on the bed in their room, in the same position when he first brought her there, her hands lay on her stomach. The King of Hell sits on a chair beside the bed, waiting for her to wake up. His glowing red eyes never leave the girl and it takes everything in him to not hold her hand. Not only was this all his fault but she's also hurting because of him. A healer had taken a look at her, and the injury on her head is minor and no one knows why she hasn't woken up.

The injury to her head never should have knocked her out in the first place, it's strange how she's unconscious. The wound on her head has a green salve from the healer. The Underworld is a place of the dead and because of that, there isn't anything alive in there. Except for Arabella. The healer had to be brought from the human world with everything that needed to heal her. As Arabella isn't immortal, yet. Her wounds don't heal on themselves and no one wants to risk the injury getting infected, especially when it's the Queen. The one this world need, or it will fall.

The whole world depends on that one girl lying in the bed, unconscious and unmoving. Lucifer has tears in his eyes by looking at the love of his life, not knowing if she's alone in her suffering. When looking at her, none can tell she's in pain, yet they don't know that there's a chance that she's somewhere inside her mind in pain, or she could be in no pain at all, no one knows. "Any change?" Luna asks, as she walks inside the room. In her time there, the human girl who lies in the bed has come dear to her.

She won't admit it out loud, but she does care for her and won't rest until she's safe. She's protective over her future sister-in-law. "I'm afraid not" Lucifer answers, his voice is low and on the verge to break down, yet he doesn't allow himself to do that. He must remain strong, if not for himself, then for his love. Luna sits on the bed, taking the hand of the girl. "She's ice-cold. How had this happened? Fire flows through her vein" Luna asks, the two siblings look alarmed by this.

Lucifer stands up and takes her hand, she's freezing. Never in her fifteen years of living has she ever felt cold, not really. It was all an illusion for her, and her brothers, to keep her life the most normal. But, in truth fire has always been flowing through her veins, from the moment she was born. Because she never burned when they tried to burn her, this girl truly is a mystery. Her pulse his still strong and going on in a normal rhythm, and her breathing are the same, she's alive, and well. Yet, she's freezing.

"This should not happen" He says, and even when his own warm fire hand touches her, she doesn't warm up. Luna check her forehead, only to have that as cold as the rest of her. Her body heat has gone down, and now they don't know what to do. Lucifer creates flames to circle around her and go as close to her skin as possible. Even when he knows that fire doesn't harm her, he doesn't want to take any chance on his fire. The fire coming from the one who created fire in the first place is Hellfire.

And who knows what will happen to her when coming to contact with Hellfire, the strongest fire of them all. It can't be put out by water or air, and it doesn't need anything to thrive. It is its own life force that he created, just by being born and that's how the fire appeared to the world. If he had never been born, fire would have never come to the world. Not even wood would catch on fire, as fire wouldn't have existed. In general, the humans wouldn't be alive if it weren't for him, when you think if it that way.

Perhaps he never would have destroyed the world, like his father believed, but he would have saved it. If he had the chance in the first place, yet you never know. There does run evil through his veins and a beast inside his body. Luna helps him wrap her around in the covers, trying to do everything they can to keep her warm, yet it never seems to work, even his own fire has no effect. "Is she cursed?" Luna asks, as curses are known for evil and can lead to death. The future Queen might not make it to become the Queen if this continues.

If her body temperature keeps going down, it will reach a point to where her body won't be able to function anymore and she will die. "No, the jewels she wears are a protection agonist any magical properties. I make sure every jewel she can choose from will protect her from curses and other magic spells that might harm her" He says, when it comes to Arabella, he doesn't joke around. Protecting her is his first priority and he will do anything to keep her out of harm. "That's why you have her wear all of these, I don't suppose she's aware of this?" She asks, lifting her eyebrows.

Only her brother would do this. "No she doesn't know, all she does know is her jewels are custom to being royalty. The more she wears, the more she's protected, that's why she has to wear a lot" He says, a bit proud that he did come up with this. "I was wondering why she had to wear all of this, when she's clearly uncomfortable" Luna speak. Looking at the poor girl with sadness in her eyes. Not being able to help her is killing both siblings.

The girl may not know this, but she has gotten to their soft side and both care about her. Of course, he loves her and is in love with her, while Luna cares about her as if she were her little sister. Which she will be once they marry, but he's taking his time to get the girl to marry him, she hasn't even shown any sign of love for him. Not yet, anyway and that worries Luna. There is always the possibility that she might never fall in love with him, however that is highly unlikely.

Arabella does like him, without even knowing it herself. She doesn't understand her feelings for him, or even know she has them. She's young and has never been in love before, she's bound to be confused and with everything that has been happening to her, loving him isn't exactly the first thing on her mind. "She needs to be protected when I'm not there. Someone might do her harm and I wouldn't be there to protect her" He says, they wonder how the girl is still unconscious. And so cold, this isn't normal. Especially for the Queen of fire.

"Brother, believe me when I say, that as soon as she wakes up, you have to tell her. Everything" Luna says. The fact that Arabella knows next to nothing about herself, about Lucifer, about this place, about who she's supposed to be, sure she knows the story, but there's a lot to the story that she doesn't know. "I had begun telling her of my past when this happened. I was telling her" He says, one tear slides from his left eye and lands on Arabella's ice-cold hand. Her hand feels so cold, and to the man that isn't used to cold and has never felt the cold, it's unique.

The tear that has landed on her hand sends warmth to her body, without the siblings knowing it. Yet, the warmth doesn't last very long as the cold body temperature of the girl is still going down. It's slowly going to a very dangerously low temperature. Luna, however does notice how her temperature goes down. No fire helps her, the fire inside her doesn't help her. "This is impossible, this shouldn't be happening. Unless her magic is being sucked out of her. That is the only explanation" Luna says.

However, it doesn't make sense that her magic is being sucked out, as the jewels she wears protects her from that kinds of magic spells. Evil spells that want to do her harm. "How?" Lucifer asks, the panic clearly written all over his face. He sets Arabella's hand down and pulls the covers over her, to her neck. And tucks her in, just to keep the little body heat that she still has safe, and perhaps slowing down the falling of the temperature a little bit. "That I do not know" Luna answer. Her mind has been racing with ideas of how to help the poor girl or understand what is happening, but nothing.

Not even one of the oldest creatures in the world can know what is happening to one human girl, well perhaps she isn't as human as they thought. If Hellfire doesn't warm her up, then what does. Hellfire is the hottest fire in the world, as it is the first fire that appeared in the world, the first heat. Hellfire is the life force fire, and it lives inside of him and inside of her, yet then how can her body temperature go down so quickly of Arabella does have Hellfire running through her veins.

Luna stands up and goes outside of the room, she can't be in there anymore. The girl she has come to care about is in danger and she's not sure if she will make it. The fact that she doesn't understand how this has happened. The girl suffered an injury to the head and it has been treated, no infection had taken hold of her wound, so it rules that out, yet there is nothing that Luna can come up with to save the girl.

Arabella hasn't been given anything, well except for the green salve on her wound. Luna's eyes widen when she realizes that. She stops right in her tracks. "GUARDS!!!" She calls out in anger. Three guards coming running at her command. They can't deny the anger that runs through her, and are frightened of her when she's like this. Luna's furious, and when that happens, it's best to get as quickly away from her as possible. "Find the healer and bring him to the King" She only says to them and they all obey her. She's the sister of their King, and they know she was imprisoned for ten thousand years, that are clear signs of evil.

Luna however, takes off her heels and barefoot, she runs as quickly as she can do the bedroom that Arabella lies in, dying. She had taken a long walk around the castle before she realized what had happened to the girl and there might be a way to save her, if it isn't already too late. However, if is were, the whole castle would feel the anger and hurt from the King. She's still alive and there is time to save her. Luna opens the door, only to be met with her brother's tear stained face.

Going to the bed, Luna notices that the girl is so pale and sickly looking that she doesn't have that much time left. "I know what happened to" She only tells her brother, who looks up to her sister. Luna only glares at the green salve on the girl's head. "She has been poised, by the healer. The green salve is poison" Luna tells him, with anger in her voice. The fact that someone got close enough to poison the future Queen is making the two of them angry, and that she has to suffer alone and lost somewhere in her mind, not knowing what's happening to her or how to be freed.

The guards bring the healer inside the bedroom, and when they see the King furious, all they want to do is get out of their faster than anything. The beast in him is ready to kill, and will kill anyone who gets in his way. Lucifer stands on the floor in front of the healer, who only shakes when he bows down before his King, knowing that he will not leave this room alive. Lucifer doesn't find the words to say, as he is far to angry but his sister has tons to let out of her mouth.

She goes down to the floor and walks to the healer. "What did you do to your Queen?" She asks, the tone is dark and unrecognizable, it holds a lot of power, showing not only the healer but also the guards exactly who they're dealing with, besides there is a reason for why she was in prison for ten thousand years, in a prison that was designed to hold her, a being more powerful than any other. The healer lets out a cruel laugh.

"That is no Queen, she's a human. And doesn't belong here. I have saved her the pain that can only await her in the Underworld. Demons would rather see this kingdom fall than have a human for a Queen" He speaks, his voice doesn't help his case of leaving this room alive, anyone has already figured out that the King will murder him. It's strange how there are many demons in the Underworld who love their Queen and would lay down their already dead lives for her, they would kill for her, they would do anything she says, but then there are those who wish her harm.

The beast sees only red, grits his teeth and his hands clenched tightly. One of his hands makes its way to the neck of the healer and holds a tight grip. Squeezing the life out of him, he can't breathe and desperately tries to fight for his life, yet the grip the King has is strong. His beast will do anything to protect his love and now that she's in danger and is dying, he will kill everyone and everything that moves. If she dies, there will be no stopping him, the Underworld will fall.

The healer struggles to breath and the guards and Luna watch as the King does what he has always done, punish those who deserve it. The Underworld isn't just a place of the dead, it's also a prison of the dead. Some have come in terms with it and enjoy it, while other haven't and always feels like their being punished, and they are, at the mercy of their King and Queen. Unknown to any of them, the room starts to cool down and the warm temperature slipping away. They're too busy to see what's happening to the Queen.

"You shall undo what you have done. She is your Queen and you shall treat her as such" Lucifer speaks, his voice filled with darkness and power, it's clear he controls everything. Luna watches her brother teach the healer a lesson, but she has a feeling that her brother and his beast won't kill him, now at least. No, the real punishment is just the beginning. He shall suffer for all eternity. That's the price for attempting to murder the Queen. The healer only nods his head once, choking and seeing the darkness take over him. That healer is one of many who will try and fail to assassinate the Queen.

He goes over to the bed where she lies, however none had noticed that her skin had turned so pale, that it is close to become blue from how cold she is. Even though the healer says he will undo what he has done, there is no way to reverse this, not now. They just have to accept the fact that their Queen and that sweet innocent human girl is dying and they nor anyone can not do anything about it. In his attempt to save her, even when knowing there isn't a way to save her, he cleans the green salve of her wound.

Because the salve had entered her bloodstream, it's working faster, killing her faster. The siblings watch closely at what he does, noticing that even when he takes the slave, she's not getting any better. If anything, she's getting worse. This time, Luna sees how the room is cooling down. "Brother, why is it cold? It can't be cold in the Underworld. It's a world that lives on fire" She says to her brother. Lucifer doesn't feel the cold because of the fire running in his veins, but he does notice that the room is getting colder.

And it's not just the room that's growing colder, it's the whole Underworld. This kingdom depends on a King and Queen and when one is falling into the eternal sleep, it goes down with them. "You've not just killed your Queen but also this whole kingdom. The Underworld will fall as soon as she does" Lucifer speaks, he doesn't give the healer to speak his case, or feel guilty. "Guards, throw him into a cell!" He harshly tells the guards that everyone had forgot were in the room.

They take the healer out of the room and to the dungeons. At least he left the room alive, however you can't exactly say he's going to be alive for much longer. When Arabella takes her last breath he will be the first one to die, but then the whole Underworld will follow until it is only Lucifer and his sister left, because they can not be killed. He turns back to the girl who lies on the bed. Stroking her cheek, he feels how cold she is, and how desperate he is to have her wake up and be alive.

Her skin feels like ice and the King of Hell is not used to feeling ice, she's dying and it's matter of minutes before she falls into the eternal sleep. The wave of sadness washes over him and he can't hold the tears in. A small figure hugs him, bringing him comfort. Perhaps the two of them need the comfort. Luna notices that the room grows so cold that she can see her own breath, but she also sees the breath of her brother and the dying Queen. But the Queen stops giving away that vapor affect. Luna breaks down in tears and they don't stop. Arabella has passed away.

The two siblings stay in silence, in the cold. The tears staining their face and the sadness and grief all over them. The heartbreak of losing the love of his life is overwhelming, he has never known this sadness. The room doesn't stop growing colder, but neither of the siblings care about it. Never have they been so close and seen each other's emotion. She never knew it, but Arabella did bring the two of them together and closer than ever. The Queen lies on the bed, she looks peaceful and like she's sleeping.

After a few minutes, they couldn't be in there. The sadness and the grief was just too much for the King and his sister to handle. None of them have lost anyone, and not only did they lose her, but the world lost its Queen. She was supposed to be the Queen of the world. And, she was supposed to be by his side, ruling for all eternity. Even when they walk outside of the room, they never break the hug. As soon as they close the door of the freezing bedroom, the eyes of the Queen who they believe is dead snap open.
