《Hooks Raven{Peter Pan}》Chapter 2

*Peter Pans POV*
The sun started to rise over Neverland. Well all three of them actually. Shining their lovely bright rays all over my face.
I started to stretch as I did every morning before getting up from my little tree house den to crow at all of the other lost boys.
"Come on you lazy lumps. Out of bed. Let's get moving!" I yelled when I got no response to the crow.
Finally everyone started to move. I could see them all climb out of their own dens in the many trees we had claimed for the lost boys.
I hopped down from my own tree and faced them all on the solid ground. There was about forty or so of us in total including three sets of twins. Every now and then we would go to a big city through the second star to the right and visit the boys orphanages, taking the boys back to Neverland with the help of a few fairies.
"Okay Lost Boys. We have a busy day ahead of us. Now I'm not too sure what we're doing yet but I definitely know that we have to go see the Indians. It has been ages since we visited them. Also we have to visit that city tonight to get more lost boys. But besides that we have a free day. What do you want to do first?" I asked them.
It was silent for a few minutes until finally someone spoke up.
"We should go and see the Indians now and then figure out what to do." I heard plenty of shouts in agreement for this suggestion.
"Okay, okay. Everyone in favour of going to the Indians say 'I'". I said finally.
"I!"
"Then it's settled. Let's go!" I yelled jumping into the air and flying low from the ground so that the others could follow me.

They were slow enough this morning but they were usually quite slow in the morning anyway. Their feet trudged along the forest floor and I knew if they didn't hurry I would have to drop them into a lake. It may sound harsh but it does wake you up.
We eventually reached the Indians camp when the sun's were high in the air.
It was just as bright and colourful as ever with everyone up and roaming around.
I walked up to the chief while the lost boys ran around.
"How are you chief. Why did you call us here? Are the pirates causing mischief again?" I asked.
"Well actually yes they are. Not exactly to us but they have been steeling our drums and things at night and the coconuts have been disappearing quite rapidly. We thought you guys might want to go find out what's going on."the chief replied.
I was always up for a good pirate chase of course.
"We'd love to chief. I'll quickly tell the others and see what they think." I said running off to find the others.
"Hey! Lost Boys! Listen up. Chief wants us to go on a pirate hunt. Start to get ready!" I shouted out.
I wandered back over to the chief after the lost boys had run off to go get some weapons.
Princess Tiger Lily had just finished talking to the chief with a distressed look on her face.
"Pan Tiger Lily has just told me something very important. There is a person amongst the pirates. We do not know if they have been captured or not nor if they are male or female. All we know is that you must bring them here to the island. They are in great danger if anyone finds out that they, like you can fly. The pirates will try to kill them. You must rescue them." The chief told me.

"But how will I know that I've found them if they won't fly?" I asked.
"I have a necklace that you can wear that will glow when you are looking them in the eye." He said putting a chin around my neck.
It was a long silver chain with a red ruby on the end of it. It was in the shape of a leaf. It looked oddly familiar.
"Hey didn't Tinker Bell once wear this?" I asked, thinking of my little fairy companion back at home.
"Well yes actually she did. But she gave it to us as it is fairy made and this way we can find anything to do with fairy's and this person is probably part fairy so now you can use it." He explained.
He bowed to me and I bowed back before running off back to the lost boys who were starting to assemble together.
"Okay guys. Who feels like attacking the pirates! Again!" I shouted to them.
"Yay!"
"Okay here's the plan. Formation A will take out the land pirates and then formation B will take out the sea pirates. Leave Hooks crew to me!" I told them.
We already had formations set up from day one. Whenever new lost boys came, we split them between the two groups. I usually went solo because I only fought Hook and sometimes some of his crew.
We started to leave the Indian camp and made our way through the forest.
Every now and then, we would stop near a berry bush and eat some of the red currents because we needed a lot of energy. From what the chief told me, all of the pirates were in pirate cove so if we were outnumbered, he said he would send down some people from his tribe.
It was a warm enough day, not a cloud in the sky as far as I could see. Pirate Cove was only through the forest a bit but we were going to go through a different way and land right at the back of their little village so that we could just run through and surprise attack them.
The lost boys were behind us chatting away about every little thing. I would pick up a few words for m their conversations sometimes but not anything of interest really.
Soon we neared Pirate Cove and the talking came to an abrupt stop.
We were at the edge of the trees surrounding the Cove which I could see through the trees. There was no one there but I could hear shouts in the distance.
We dropped down quietly and started to walk through the deserted streets.
The shouting got louder as we neared the town centre which was where all the boats were.
Keeping close to the side of a building I looked around the corner at the town square.
Every pirate on the island of Neverland was standing there shouting, even the girls. There was a few ships in the water but nothing that we couldn't handle.
There was another ship coming into the cove it was much bigger than the others and I knew it was Hooks ship. He was practically a king amongst pirates.
A load voice boomed over the speakers as the ship entered the harbour and we started to get ready.
"Please welcome the greatest pirate to ever have sailed the sea's, Captain James Hook!"

Moonshot
Gregarious businessman Evin Tumble is fascinated by the sudden and inexplicable appearance of a low-orbiting moon. Specifically, he's interested in shooting it down with a giant cannon. The moon is only about eight miles overhead, but it's high enough and quick enough that nobody can reach it by balloon or airship. He hires our protagonists: taciturn Iseult Morrin, cheerful Sean Whelan, and nervous Íde Ceallaigh, to help him with his obsession. As our heroes are dispersed across the continent to perform tasks for Tumble, and the moon-hunt draws closer, they become increasingly suspicious of their benefactor's motives and true nature. Moonshot is a story centred around struggling with confidence, the difficulty of being an immigrant, and the duality of truth, all clad in the trappings of an urban fantasy. It is character-driven, from the heart, and based on tropes and ideas that are missing from a lot of contemporary fantasy (a push beyond the flawless-yet-somehow-still-needs-rescuing-by-an-oafish-man heroine trope, a touch of cosmic magic based on the shared geometries of Celtic and Arab art).
