《Hooks Raven{Peter Pan}》Chapter 1

*Ravens POV*
It had been six years since my dad's hand had been cut off. I could still fly of course and my hair was still black. Dad had taken to wearing a hook all the time because he couldn't stand the sight of his mangled arm.
I was left with a red scar that went from just below my left eye across my cheek and down my neck to my left collar bone.
We had never really disliked Peter Pan. He was always just an annoying boy who meddled with and annoyed us but after that incident, we were both out for blood.
I had stopped my aging last year on my thirteenth birthday. I was technically fourteen but I would be stuck in a teenaged body for the rest of eternity unless I went to live in the human world.
I was the only female pirate in Neverland. There was females of course in pirate cove but none of them were actually pirates. The didn't fight or go on ships or wear big hats. They all wore dresses down past their ankles that showed way to much on the top half. They all wore enough make up in one day to last last a regular person a whole year. They were completely pathetic.
I was completely the opposite. I didn't wear long, puffy, low necked dresses. I wore short, knee length ,often blue and black, high necked dresses with a captains hat like my father with my black, knee high pirate boots. I even had my own sword.
I didn't spend my day fawning over silly boys who act like they own the place when really all they can ever do is scrub a bloody deck. I have actually seen a few of them run at the very sight of the Lost Boys. Pathetic.
I am practically a princess among pirates. Dad is the biggest, best and most feared pirate to ever have sailed the Neverland sea's. We plunder nearing vessels from other countries, attack the Indian tribes who near our cove and find our way to the most hidden treasures in Neverland. We may be bad but we are pirates! It's just what we do.

Today is the day when we celebrate the great captain Skull who was known for chopping off his victims heads to decorate the front of his ship and feeding their bodies to his pet tigers. He was glorious and we celebrate him every year on the day he was killed by his own poison exactly four hundred years ago.
Dad has been preparing his speech for weeks now. I have helped where I can but I'm not so good at that kind of thing but that's just life.
"Raven! It's time to get going. I need you to look out for me just in case that blasted Peter Pan decides to ruin our day." I heard my father call.
He always asked me to be the look out because I could fly to whatever was in our way.
I quickly ran out onto the deck, grabbing my spyglass as I went past it and put on my captains hat.
I ran out onto the deck, sliding over the water someone was using to scrub the deck, ran to the back of the ship and up the stairs to where my father was.
"Hi dad, caught any good fish today?" I asked him.
"No I haven't even been fishing yet. Why do you ask?" He replied.
"Well a hook that big I would expect you to have caught a shark by now." This is how our day usually started. With me making fun of his hook.
"Oh for heavens sake! Get up to the crows nest and start looking out before that young sailor falls out with tiredness." He said.
"Okay dad. Catch you later!" I called as I skipped off.
"Oh I swear..." I heard him hit his head head repeatedly on the side of the boat.
I laughed a little and ran up to the crows nest.
"Okay Fishlegs. You can go now." I said to the man who looked as bad as a crocodile with a cold.

I watched as he practically sprinted down to the deck, sliding over some water and bashing into Mr. Smee who was coming out of the cabin.
I gave a slight giggle and then started looking out over the Never sea. It was very beautiful and still and Neverland was only a few more miles away
I looked forward to the festival. It was always very fun but this year was the four hundredth anniversary of the great Captain Skull.
This year would be the best year yet. There would be party's and pin the tail on the crocodile and coconut shy and a huge parade with performers and acrobats and me, dad and the rest of our crew all got to go on the huge float which always looked like the back of our ship and then my dad would say his speech in the huge town square.
It was definitely something to look forward to and I couldn't wait.
"Raven! Can you please stop daydreaming for a moment!" I jumped as my father's voice jolted me out of my thoughts.
I looked over the side of the crows nest and looked down at my father.
"Yes dad?"
"Finally. Can you see anything suspicious at all or is it all clear to sail into the cove?" He called up.
"Um...let me just check." I called raising the spyglass to my eye. I looked at the sea first. There was a dark shape swimming around but we already knew what that was. Next I looked to the skies where it was just as clear as it had been all day.
"Well old Tick- Rock is swimming around a few miles away but besides that we're all clear!" I called.
"Perfect! Start coming down now we'll be reaching the cove soon." He called up to me.
I folded up my spyglass and tucked it into my belt next to my sword.
I climbed down quickly and joined my father and Smee at the steering wheel.
"and after that you have a meeting with the Lord mayor sir and with the guy who makes your hooks." Smee was saying. He was clearly telling my father hus schedule or something.
"Oh and don't forget that you have to ignore everything this little elf man says because today is the anniversary of captain Skull. I actually remembered not looking at any one in particular, Smee!" I said looking at the man.
"Land ho captain. We'll be reaching the cove now so get ready!" I heard someone yell.
"Okay places everyone. Make sure you all look your very best. Look lively lads come on. Don't stand around doing nothing. Cuttle no one wears solid gold teeth. Get those out of your mouth before any one sees them." Dad was going around in captain mode making sure everything and everyone was perfect.
I quickly glanced in the mirror and wiped a smudge off my cheek. There was nothing I could do about my scar but I wore it proudly any way so it didn't matter.
Finally as we started to enter Pirate Cove, dad stood at the top of the ship ready to wave at everyone with me by his side.
We heard everyone before we saw them as we turned the corner to see every pirate in Neverland there to celebrate with us.
"Please welcome the greatest pirate to ever have sailed the seas Captain James Hook!"

Runicka: Tournament of Monsters (A GameLit Card Game Fantasy)
The runes are changing, and with it, the game itself changes. Taygion Ardwella finds himself stranded, alone, and on the run from some very determined guards who claim Tay's stolen from them. They're right, but that shouldn't mean Tay has to give back what he took. He's only been in Stormwall for a week and already, he's earning the ire of the most powerful and notorious House that controls the city's underground. And when their scion challenges Tay to a duel of cards, Tay will find himself thrust into a game of sorcery and strategy as he attempts to both find a way out of this mess and find his own way in the world. To do both, he'll need to learn to accept guidance and coaching where it's sorely needed, craft a deck of unimaginable power, and not die whenever his opponents try and cheat him out of a hard-earn victory. But not all is as it seems in the shadows of Stormwall, and if Tay can figure out the importance of what it is he's stolen, he may just have a chance at saving the game of Runicka. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Runicka: Tournament of Monsters is a high fantasy, card game-based adventure novel with enough magic, worldbuilding, and characters to fill a Sanderson series. I would consider it a part of the GameLit subgenre. This series in particular is not an isekai, and will start and end in a high fantasy setting complete with its own lore and backstory. It is a progression fantasy, and I am writing it inspired by all the Yu-Gi-Oh mangas/animes, and all the hours I've invested/wasted (depending on who you ask) playing TCGs like Yu-Gi-Oh and Magic: The Gathering. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ This is a work in progress. In your journey through Stormwall alongside Tay, you'll probably find typos, grammatical errors, and maybe a confusing sentence every once in a while (although I hope to keep these to a minimum). That said, comments and suggestions on where I can improve are not only encouraged but greatly appreciated. And finally, expect new chapters every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~**Currently on a small hiatus. I have a bit of a workplace crisis going on. I'm still writing, but I don't have time to polish and publish. Chapters will return on a regular basis soon though!!**

Apostasy - The Lost History of Goge Vandire (A Warhammer 40,000 fan fiction)
DISCLAIMER: The characters in this story are inspired by the background of the Warhammer 40,000 intellectual property that belongs to Games Workshop Ltd. This is fan fiction, and no challenge to their ownership rights is intended. Goge Vandire is a name written in to the annals of Imperial history in blood. Often literally. No single mortal has commanded authority on the scale at which he exercised it at his height. His name is as synonymous with unspeakable evil as that of the Warmaster, Horus himself. And yet he was just a man. Where did such a man come from? What drove him to the steps he took to secure power to himself and, once he had it, how did he come to misuse it so grievously? I have scoured the records - many of them once thought lost or placed under the unbreakable seal of the Inquisition - to uncover his forgotten story, piecing together his childhood, his apprenticeship, his rise to power and his descent into madness and death. It is not the story you might expect...
