"Amazing. I can't believe that this Ria Venus Island." Jafar says.
"It's huge." Annalise says as she looks around.
"Let's see... 'Ria Venus Island' one of the main locations of trade owned by the prominent and powerful families of the Mariadel company. Built to show the appreciation to merchants from various places, it because a place where they can privately enjoy popular attraction like casinos and the arena. Now, it serves as center of commerce where tourists can come and go freely. Even if it's referred to as a sing facility, it's really as large as a town that show just how much political power and how many resources the Mariadel Company actually has, but—" Jafar explains.
"He's not listening." Annalise says.
"Hmm?" Jafar asks and they look over where Sinbad took off to a casino.
"Awesome! Ten wins in a row! You just jumped right in, but you're amazing. To earn that much with a single coin... you have unbelievable luck!" A guy says.
"Next, I'll bet..." Sinbad says, "All of it on 7 black!" Annalise and Jafar stare in shock. Annalise was impressed while Jafar gets angry. He stomps after Sinbad.
"What do you think you're doing, Sin?!" Jafar asks.
"This place is full of casinos right? I thought I'd go in and give it a try and I just keep winning." Sinbad says.
"Wow, that is a lot." Annalise says.
"I think I might really be a talented gambler." Sinbad says.
"That's because your life is nothing but gambling." Jafar says.
"He's got a point." Annalise says.
"Sin, please stop acting like we're sightseeing." Jafar says, "This is a special administrative district. Although it's a territory of Reim, it doesn't follow Reim's laws, but it's a self-governed region with it's own laws. Whatever happens here, it's difficult for anyone outside to interfere. It's like a whole separate country. Please don't forget that we're in the middle of our enemy's headquarters." Sinbad passes Annalise something he just bought to eat and then gives Jafar one.

"Jafar... I wanna eat that next." Sinbad says. Annalise looks up and spots the arena at the top. She was getting a strange feeling from the arena.
"Sin... This is as far as Annalise and I can go." Jafar says and Sinbad turns to look at them, "Pass this point only the gladiators are allowed."
"Got it." Sinbad says.
"Leave your personal effects here. You'll have to use the clothes and weapons they lend to you in the arena." Jafar says.
"Annalise, hold on to these for me." Sinbad says as he holds up Baal and Valefor. She takes them and she looks at Valefor when he starts like vibrating a little.
"Valefor is acting strange." Annalise says.
"You know he and Baal has always liked you." Sinbad says before he places his hand against her cheek after she looks at him worriedly, "Annalise, don't make that face. I'll be fine. I've got you to protect after all."
"Hmm." Jafar says, "Now you are just a regular guy with no metal vessels just like everyone else."
"And just who was it that picked a fight with this normal guy in the past?" Sinbad jokes.
"Please forget everything about my days as an assassin." Jafar says.
"Well then, I'll see you both later. We'll get some more money afterwards, Annalise." Sinbad says.
"Right..." Annalise says and Sinbad walks out of hearing range, "Jafar... I'm afraid..."
"I know. That's why I offered to come with you two. You were going to follow him here regardless of what he asked. But I could tell after you two returned home that you were shaking with fear." Jafar says.
"Yeah..." Annalise says.
"Let's go." Jafar says and they head to find some seats. They get good seats and Annalise stares down below. She grips Baal tightly in her hands while she'd put Valefor on. Valefor currently rested against her breasts.

"Now, we bring you the sword match sponsored by the Mariadel Company. Today's match is a special match that can be seen just this once! The challenger is that man... the adventurer who has crossed many seas and sent his named thundering across the lands. I think many of you may be here today to see him for yourself... The young dungeon conqueror! His name is... SINBAD!" Kil reads off loudly for everyone to hear. Sinbad walks out and Annalise blushes.
"Wow... He looks really nice in that get up." Annalise says and Jafar looks at Annalise.
'So... this is an arena... It feels a bit intimidating but the audience is enthusiastic.' Sinbad's thoughts say in unison with Annalise's, 'Dungeons feel tenser, but... that's it. This place isn't all that different from the amphitheater in Napolia. The only difference is that this is a one-on-one sword match. In fact, the thought of fight a match with no metal vessels for the first time in a long time is pretty exhilarating.' Sinbad looks up and spots Annalise. He smiles at her and waves gently.
'No matter who my opponent is, I'll win!' Sinbad's thoughts tell Annalise.
"And representing the Mariadel company, a warrior of renowned military service by all here on Ria Venus Island! With teeth strong enough to tear down to the bone if he gets a hold of his opponent's neck, the red beast has sent over one hundred gladiators to their graves!" Kil explains, "Can our young challenger defeat the beast?!" Some doors open and Annalise's eyes widen with everyone else.
"Hey wait a minute... He's a... kid?" Sinbad asks shocked.
"J-Jafar... have you ever looked at someone and felt like you know them personally even though you've never met them before?" Annalise asks.
"Huh? Only when I looked at you and Sinbad. Why?" Jafar asks.
"That boy..." Annalise says, "He's a fanalis."
"A fanalis? But his hair is darker than yours." Jafar says.
"Fanalis can have red or pink hair. Males are typically a red head." Annalise says, "I remember... red on my father..." Her eyes widen as an image of her staring up at two faceless people she assumed were her parents. One had long beautiful pink hair while the other had darker red-like hair.
"H-How do I know that? I was just an infant." Annalise says.
"You're joking, right?! No matter how big a spectacle you wanna make this, I can't fight a child—" Sinbad says and dodges the boy's attack.
'What the hell is he?!' Sinbad's thoughts ask inshock.

I Have Even Read the Rulebook!
As all stories begin, Prof died. Yes, truck-kun had something to do with that, but also a bird, a cat and some rebar. When he was presented with with the opportunity in the Afterlife Administration Bureau to be transmigrated into a game-like fantasy world, he did something, no one ever did: he read the Rulebook. Follow Prof on his road to be rich without working, touring a whole new world without a care and witness his realisation, that despite having read the Rulebook the folks living with the System for untold millennia know more about the rules. Important notes: 1, I'm not a native speaker, so be prepared for occassional typos, iffy grammar and maybe awkward sentences. The spell check was running, when I wrote the chapters, but it works in strange ways... If you point out mistakes, I will try to correct them 2, Scheduling will be two chapters a week, posted Saturdays before noon (CET). Depending on how much new chapters I can write consistently there will be probably more but as long as I have leftover chapters, the two per week will be posted no matter what. Chapters will be around 1500-2500 words as MS Word counts it. 3, I did not and will not post this novel on another site, if you find it somewhere else, please inform me 4, The Main Character's progression is slow, there will be no Levels, Skills, Abilities, Feats, Perks and Cheat Powers raining down on him 5, I've put Comedy as a genre because of my writing style not because the novel is a comedy per se. On the other hand, Traumatising Content is there because there is a lot of speciesism - those Elves are not nice people. 6, I put a lot of pop-cultural references into the chapters, try to find them! Enjoy!
