The day came by, where every person who knew of Alban had come to mourn his death.

Sonny was standing beside Yugo. The two had kept in touch since the day they met in the hospital.

Sonny found out that Alban was adopted in a family with Uki and Yugo. Sadly, the person who had adopted the three, died in a car accident.

The three kids were so different from other people. Not only because of their sad past, but their current state.

In the town they lived in, technology was forbidden, so everyone was forced to learn traditional ways of surviving.

Uki was the eldest son. Unlike Alban and Yugo, Uki was bullied because of the way he dressed, talked, and looked.

He had purple and pink eyes. And the reason for it was very unrealistic that people started to think he was just crazy.

It was a legend that stars would fall from the sky and fall to the ground. Uki was just to be hit by a star in his eye.

Alban was the 2nd son, but he wasn't that much younger than Yugo. He too had heterochromia but the reason for it was unknown.

Alban grew up in a place where people had used violence in order to survive. So, stealing was the only way he knew he could survive.

Yugo was the youngest of them all. He wasn't any different from any ordinary human being except for the fact that he spoke a whole different language from the others. Though he eventually grew to learn English.

Because of this judgmental and unsafe town they had lived in, their foster parent had moved with them to a different place where they could be themselves and not be afraid of anything.

Things were going great for all of them, until Lily, their foster parent, had died in a car crash.

The three kids were devastated so they went their own ways.

Uki was in a relationship with Fulgur, who is another friend of Alban.

Alban's brothers had told Sonny about Alban's past and other stuff that they thought the other might not have known, like them being a part of Alban's missions.

The three siblings were very poor, but Alban had been the one to provide for them in the worst way possible.

Sonny was happy to have seen people who loved and appreciated Alban.

He had also received something that the phantom thief had left for him before his death.

It was a simple but expensive watch. Sonny had promised to treasure it.

When Sonny had told the two about him being the one to shoot Alban, they had forgiven him since they were also another reason why Alban had come to the museum.

The funeral went smoothly, and Sonny went back to VSF to pack up his remaining stuff and move it to his new office.

Instead of him resigning, he got promoted as the head of VSF after Zen had resigned to focus on his newly formed family. They had a small shop so he wanted to focus on that.

Sonny and Warren are still mortal enemies (more likely Warren still hates Sonny but Sonny just doesn't even care).

After finishing up a little bit of organizing, Sonny went back home to find a very messy place.

He immediately took his gun out and started to look around. His things in the living room were scattered on the floor.

He checked every place on the first floor before going upstairs to check.

As far as he knows, no earthquake took place that night and even if it was an earthquake, his things upstairs would have been damaged as well.

He puts his gun down to see that his things in his room are well kept. He walked to his bed and sat down.

Sonny was a little anxious with the mess that was downstairs. He has no idea what it could have been and didn't want to look into it too much since he wawas so tired.

He was about to lay down, but someone had shut his mouth with a cloth and before he could even see who it was, he had passed out already.

The person looked at Sonny's lifeless body and sighed. "I really hope that this is the right thing to do."

It had been a few days since Sonny went missing. The former VSF head had taken over for some time as they waited for Sonny to come back.

Days passed and weeks came by, it had almost been 3 weeks since he had gone missing. VSF decided to investigate this matter and visit Sonny's place.

5 officers, including Warren and Zen, came to Sonny's place. There was only one light open and it was from the living room.

Zen looked at one of the officers and signaled for them to knock on the door. The officer nodded and walked up to the front.

They had been shouting for Sonny to come out, but when nothing seemed to happen, Zen walked up and opened the door himself.

The door wasn't locked so it was easier for him to not use force. He fully opened the door and let everyone in.

They searched every inch of Sonny's place, but didn't see him at all.

Everyone started to get worried, and started to look for things that would lead to where Sonny could probably be.

Warren saw a paper on Sonny's nightstand, beside a picture of Sonny and Alban. He took the paper and read the content before giving it to Zen.

"Don't worry about me. I'm in a place where people will accept me. - Alban."

"Alban... Knox?" Warren asked.

"It can't be. He's dead." Zen replied, not looking at the male. "Look for other clues."

Sonny woke up with a huge headache. He put his hand to his head, slightly massaging it.

He got up and looked around. He was in an unfamiliar room.

On the nightstand on his table was a glass of water and some bread. He took a sip of the water and got up.

He examined the room he was in and saw some pictures with very familiar faces.

"Uki, Alban and Yugo...? Where the heck am I?" He said to himself.

Suddenly, the door opened, catching him off guard. "Oh. I'm glad you're awake."

Sonny tilted his head and squinted his eyes trying to figure out who the male was.

"Who... are you? And where am I?" Sonny asked.

"I'm Fulgur Ovid. Uki's fiancee. You're in our house." The guy who introduced himself as Fulgur, explained.

"Oh... I'm Sonny Brisko. It's nice to meet you."

"I already know, Alban really had a lot of stories to tell about you."

"You're friends with Alban?"

"Yeah. I help him with his missions. I'm very good at technology so I helped him hack into stuff and I made some parts of his outfit. Especially the ears."

"Oh... You're okay with telling me that? You probably know that I'm an officer."

"I know. I can just trap you in my basement if you try to tell anyone."

There was silence for a couple of seconds before Sonny remembered how he got here.

"I'm not being kidnapped... Am I?" Sonny asked, as he started to back away from the male.

"Huh? Why'd you say that? Uki arrived here with you yesterday saying you needed help since you were apparently drunk." Fulgur explained.

Sonny was confused. "So, was I hallucinating?"

"Why? What happened?" Fulgur asked. Sonny shook his head no and decided to sit down.

Fulgur looked at the male and sighed. "You hungry? Uki's probably cooking something already. It's almost lunch time."

Sonny smiled at the male and nodded. Fulgur left after taking the tray of water and bread, asking Sonny to come with him.

The two walked downstairs and talked a little bit.

When they made their way to the dining area, Sonny was shocked to see the sight in front of him.

"Alban?" Sonny said, tears threatening to fall.

"Sonny?" Alban said, softly.

"What's happening? I thought you were dead?" Sonny asked.

"Dead? No I am not. I had a lot of complications but I made it through. The doctor was shocked to see that I survived. But I think it was because of Uki." Alban explained.

"I'll explain what happened. For now, let's all take a seat and have lunch." Uki said.

"How long was I out for?" Sonny asked.

"Surprisingly for a drunk person, I thought you were dead. You were out for 2 weeks. Were you actually drunk?" Fulgur answered.

"2 weeks?! Are you kidding me?!" Sonny said, shocked.

"I said, I will explain everything! Now take your seat and eat!" Uki yelled.

Fulgur and Sonny sighed and sat down. Sonny sat beside Alban who was in a wheelchair and Fulgur sat between Yugo and Uki.

The 5 of them had a peaceful lunch, except for Sonny who was crying for a reason Alban and Fulgur had no idea about. Yugo and Uki could only watch, guilt filling through them.

After lunch, everyone in the living room sat and waited for Uki to speak.

Uki sighed and began to explain everything that happened.

"When you called Yugo about what happened to Alban... I asked my friend, Mysta, who was a detective who works in VSF to try to pull some strings and get Alban to a different hospital. Then another friend of mine called and said that they'd help to get Alban out of that hospital."

"In short, he pulled all of his connections just to transfer Alban to a different hospital. Then the doctor in charge informed the officer that was on shift that Alban died." Yugo added.

"Yeah. What he said." Uki replied. He looked at Sonny and at Alban before continuing. "I saw Sonny that night, so I thought that he already knew. I approached him and we kept in touch. After knowing more about Sonny, I thought I had finally had the courage to tell him. But it didn't work out."

"Did you perhaps kidnap me or was I hallucinating?" Sonny asked.

"I didn't kidnap you, You suddenly passed out when Luca, my friend, was behind you." Uki replied.

"Then why was I out for 2 weeks?"

"The doctor said it was because of stress and some other stuff. Lack of sleep. High alcohol int-"

"Okay. Stop. I get it."

"Alcohol?! Sonny?! Are you crazy?! Just how many bottles of alcohol did you drink?! Plus you don't even drink!" Alban questioned, clearly mad and upset.

"Like... 6-7 bottles... a... day?" Sonny replied.

"You can't drink too much alcohol, Sonny! You would've killed yourself!" Alban scolded.

"I'm still confused. Why did your friend have to hide in my house?" Sonny questioned.

"Luca is part of the mafia. More specifically, the Kaneshiro clan. There were police around your area at that time. He had to hide. Plus, you're an officer yourself." Uki explained.

Sonny nodded as he was now able to understand the situation. He only worries how he can get back without anyone thinking suspiciously.

"If you're planning to go back, I wouldn't risk it. If people find out you were going in and out of this area, people will find it more suspicious." Uki said, making everyone's head turn to him.

Sonny stood up in shock. "What about my job? You can't trap me in here forever."

"Sonny's right, Uki. I'm willing to accept any punishment that will be given to me. There's no need for this to happen." Alban added.

"Alban, once everyone finds out you're alive, you will be given a death penalty." Uki answered.

Everyone went silent and Sonny sat, running his hands through his hair.

"With the help of Luca, we can all get out of this country without anyone knowing. You have to trust me on this."

Alban and Sonny looked at each other and nodded. "Fine. As long as we can be together." Sonny replied, giving a smile to Uki.

Years later, Fulgur, Uki, Yugo, Sonny and Alban, left America and went to live in Japan, where they can use more of their connections.

Because of Uki's close friends, the 5 of them were able to get out of America and safely get to Japan.

Before they left, Sonny had sent a note to Zen explaining what happened. Zen understood and lied to the other VSF officers that Sonny was found 'dead'.

Sonny and Alban, with their wise skills combined together, were now a part of the Kaneshiro mafia, after Luca recruited them.

They acted as the main person in the Japanese business of the family, since Luca mainly dealt with business in Australia.

All of them had changed their identity, including their names, but they still use their real names when they talk to each other.

They all had side jobs as well to make sure they weren't suspicious or anything.

Sonny worked in a farmers field, Alban worked part-time in a convenience store, Yugo was a well known DJ in a club, Fulgur owned a business, and Uki was a househusband.

Fulgur and Uki got married 3 months after settling in Japan. They had a big venue, per Uki's request.

After 2 more years, Alban and Sonny got married, Uki and Fulgur adopted a baby girl and named her Maria, and Yugo got engaged to his girlfriend.

Zen visited them in Japan sometimes with his own family. He wasn't in VSF any longer so he sometimes helps Sonny and Alban when they have a mission just like how Alban had helped him.

The couple couldn't be any happier after everything they had to go through just to push their relationship to work out.

Sure, things were very tragic and out of place, but nothing beats the love they have for each other.
