You think that getting ready for a fashion show where you designed half the apparel for would be easy but that wasn't the case.

It has been a couple of days since I've spoken to Ronan, he switched rooms as soon as he found out someone checked out of theirs.

Working for his father's company isn't really convenient right now.

What if I just don't go?

No.

But like what difference would it make?

That wouldn't help though, it's not like I'm a huge designer or anything but it wouldn't be a good idea not to show up at all.

I finger comb through my hair, glaring at myself through the mirror in front of me.

My elbows rest on the marble countertop while I figure out what to change into, putting two strands of hair in front of my face.

I slip off my tank with one hand, causing more of my hair to fall in front of my face and so I'm left with only a bra.

My gaze falls down to my waist, and then my hips noticing subtle ring marks over the area, where he touched me.

My fingers graze over the marks he gave me and my eyes fall closed, suddenly recalling what happened a couple days prior. Where his fingers rested while we danced.

I don't allow myself to think further and open them once again, realizing I don't have much time to get ready since I slept through multiple alarms.

Tomorrow's my flight back, which isn't a bad thing but I'll miss it here.

I'll definitely come back one day though.

It's crazy how quick this week went by, I wish I could've stayed longer.

So which dress do I wear?

I perceive the one I brought with me, being the dress I folded under every other thing in the suitcase.

Looking through it, I finally get a hold of the dress. I now realize the dress is a golden color and that there is a slit in the dress, but of course I brought the dress that attracts the most attention.

I don't even remember buying this dress, wait wasn't this a gift from Alisha?

Oh my God it is, she insisted for me to keep it but I didn't want to keep something so expensive.

Should I wear it?

Maybe.

I hold the dress up over my chest, seeing if it would fit me while I look at my body through the mirror.

I think about how possibly I'll wear it after I take a shower, putting the dress on one of the hangers that was included with the hotel room.

Stepping into the shower, I turn on the water and I swear I hear something but I convince myself that I'm hearing things while continuing my shower.

After I had finished, I wrap a towel around my body while walking out the bathroom. When turning to my left I get startled, I observe Ronan sitting on the edge of my bed, only looking at me.

I part my lips, crossing my arms over my chest given I'm only in a towel. "Why are you— how did you even manage get in?"

"Still had the keys to your room, and clearly you're not ready yet." One corner of his lips curve up in amusement as he looks up at me, he's wearing a beige suit without a shirt underneath but one button of the blazer buttoned.

"That's what I'm about to do." I say, implying on getting ready. Walking over, I slide the dress off the hanger and go back into the bathroom in order to change into it.

I put it on over my head and come to notice that the back has like a million ribbons in the back and that i definitely can't lace them myself, what the hell is this, shoelaces on the back of a dress?

I walk back out, "Can you help?" I request, he stands behind me and we make eye contact through the mirror. The heat of his body being the only thing I felt.

His hands start at my lower back, lacing up each and every thin ribbon in kind of a crossed pattern.

Once he got to my upper back, he wouldn't break eye contact.

Slowly, he moves my damp hair to the side while staring through the mirror while I put my gaze down because I'm unable to maintain the eye contact.

I still feel his eyes on me as he reaches the top of my back and finishes. His hands linger on the small of my back for a moment and I almost stop breathing.

His expression is almost tensed but serious at once, I couldn't tell at all. He brings his lips to my right ear, speaking in only a tone higher than a whisper. "It's done."

"Thanks." I mutter in response, I notice him not move from behind me and I become the one to change the conversation.

The show's over but the one comes after, is the afterparty. You know the ones that are thrown after functions? Apparently I'm obliged to go but I'm actually really tired and want to leave this instant.

Well, technically don't have to go anywhere from here since the party is here. It's just the fact that I don't want to stay here any longer.

I look through the room and my eyes meet his, he's holding a wine glass up to his lips, parting them and drinking the liquid inside while sitting at the bar.

He sets it down and doesn't stop staring, he's the only person here that I know yet I still don't have the courage to have a conversation with him in a crowded room.

Then I come to the realization that he's making his way towards me, the glass still in between his fingers.

"Hi." He says.

"Hi."

"Is this fun for you?" I feel like he's implying something that doesn't involve the party we're at.

"What is?"

"Pretending."

"If you're not gonna be clear, or at least be specific. I don't think I'll understand what you're talking about." I explained.

"Yeah, really?

The tension in the air was definitely there, it could be cut in half. I don't know why there was though.

"Actually if you're talking about this party, I'm having a blast. This is so fun. And i'm not pretending." I state with fake enthusiasm and no emotion.

"Yeah?" He questions, seeming intrigued. I know he wasn't but I still liked the attention.

I don't say anything, taking the glass from the platter on a waiter's hand, swallowing it all.

That was alcohol.

I think she's actually gone insane, is this why she doesn't drink? Because it seems like this isn't her first time.

She's talking to some people by the entrance, seeming perfectly content speaking to them. Except she two more glasses in both her hands.

Shit.

I go over there, saying goodbye to the people she spoke to so they would leave.

They leave through the entrance and Inez crouches down so she's almost sitting.

"Roro, I don't wanna leave" she requested, her eyes tired as she spoke.

"Roro?" I raise an eyebrow in confusion.

"Yeah, like how you go all "Hernandez", She mimics me in a vague deep voice. "so I'm going to call you Roro. A nickname, your new nickname." she explains as a wide smile starts growing on her lips, her eyes barely open.

Stupid pathetic fucking nickname.

I fight my smile, glaring down at the sight of her while being hunched over as she doesn't get up from the tiled floor.

"Let me take you back to your hotel." I request, but get cut off by her index finger pressing down on my lips before I could speak further, freezing at the touch of the metal of her silver ring.

She shushes me, shaking her head. "We're not leaving until I say so"

I don't say anything in response, turning around so my back is to her.

"What?" she's confused.

"Get on." I tell her, she realizes why my back is to her and places a hand on my shoulder in order to hold on. She wraps both her legs around my back so now she's on my back.

"You're giving me a piggy back ride?"

I ignore what she said, standing up and holding onto her thighs so she doesn't fall. Both her hands are resting on my chest.

We get to the car and so I put her down so she's standing next to the car.

Unlocking the car, she sits inside and so do I, starting it.

She shivers and I take my blazer off leaving me shirtless. Putting it over her shoulders.

"You realize you're not wearing a shirt now right?" She asks as if it isn't the obvious.

"Yeah, you checking me out?" I smirk, she rolls her eyes.

"I might be."

She's putting thoughts into my head.

"Really?"

"You looked good tonight." I confessed to her, I couldn't stop staring at her.

"Really?" She mimics with sarcasm in her voice, "So did you."

We both chuckle, I look at her and watch as the moon dances over her good side.

-

I'd gotten to the hotel parking lot and she'd fallen asleep, I close the door and lock it. Opening the one to the passenger seat, I unbuckled her seatbelt and picked her up bridal style.

After I'd reached the hotel room, I walked in. Kicking off my shoes and laying her down on the bed, except when I was going to leave I feel a tug on my wrist.

She's holding my hand, "Stay." She murmurs, barely being able to keep her eyes open. "Please."

I don't leave, laying down right next to her for the rest of the night.
