"Hey, Konohamaru! What do you want?!" Naruto exclaimed after getting chased around by a certain box with a low-quality rock design.
"That's what I expect from the man I respect! Good job on figuring it out." Konohamaru's voice was slightly muffled.
The disguise "evolved" into Konohamaru and his friends.
"*cough cough* Too much gunpowder used!" Konohamaru said on the ground, along with Moegi and Udon also coughing.
The young trio did their introductions again.
"What's going on with you guys? Hey, I'm about to take the second exam for the Chūnin Exam. I have no time to be playing with you guys." Naruto said in annoyance.
"We didn't come to play around!" Konohamaru stated.
"Yeah, we came here to do an interview!" Moegi added.
"That's right." Udon simply said.
"Interview?" Naruto questioned.
"Yeah, we were put in charge to write the featured article for the 'Chūnin Exam', for the Academy's class newspaper." Konohamaru replied.
"That's why we came to interview you, leader." Moegi said.
"Hey, over there! What are you doing?" Anko's voice came up.
(Y/n) started eating whatever candy she could find in her bag, even handing some to the other rookies.
"These three are here asking about an interview for the class newspaper." (Y/n) stated.
"Oh, I forgot about that, Lord Hokage did mention something like that..." Anko turned to the rest of the Genin.
"All right, starting now, all of you have a 10 minute break!" Anko exclaimed.
Konohamaru turned to Naruto.
"Big brother Naruto! I'm depending of you!" Konohamaru said with admiration.
(
"I need shade." (Y/n) said, putting her hands above her eyes to block out the sun.
"There's something kind of creepy about this place." Sakura said with a uncertain look etched on her face.
"This place is called the Forest of Death, and you'll soon find out why." Anko said while smirking.
"The forest of death, you'll soon realize why." Naruto mocked the proctor.
"That kind of threat won't work on me. I'm not scared!" The blonde added.
"Really? You've got a lot of energy." Anko said with obvious annoyance.

Moments later, Anko threw a kunai at Naruto, which barely grazed his face and landed on the ground not too far away. A small cut appearing on his cheek.
"ShuT tHE fUCk uP"
•
(Y/n) whispered to herself.
Anko came up behind Naruto.
"A kid like you usually dies at the beginning, dappled with the red blood I like." Anko said, examining the open wound on Naruto's face, but suddenly stopped at pulled out a kunai.
A fucking tongue
A long ass tongue holding out the kunai Anko had previoisly thrown.
"Nah man, fuck this, that shit nasty." (Y/n) turned around and started to walk away, but was stopped by Hinata lightly pulling on her sleeve.
(Y/n) sighed and watched the scene that was currently being played out.
(Y/n): 'I don't really want to be here, but it's Hinata-'
"- but don't stand behind me, thirsty for blood, if you want a quick death." Anko told [more like threatened] the disguised Orochimaru.
The proctor took the kunai from their tongue, which quickly reeled back in their mouth.
「𝑠𝑘𝑖𝑝𝑝𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑠𝑜𝑚𝑒 𝑑𝑖𝑜𝑙𝑜𝑔𝑢𝑒」
Anko pulled out a pile of papers from within her coat.
"It's a consent form. Before you can take part in the test, you have to sign this." Anko announced.
"Why?" Naruto asked.
"From this point on, corpses are gonna be coming out. I have to get your consent for that! Or that'll be my responsibiliy!" Anko both answered and joked.
"In a word, the limits if your survival will be challenged." Anko gave the stack of papers to Naruto, who took one and passed it the the next person.
'Survival, huh? This test is a total pain..' Shikamaru thought, letting out a sigh in the process.
"First, I'll give you step-by-step instructions on the terrain of this Training Field." The proctor pulled out a scroll which basically showed the map of the area.
"Training field number forty-four is surrounded by forty-four locked entrance gates, there are rivers and a forest, and a tower in the middle. It's about ten kilometers from the towers to the gate. In this confined area, you will go through a certain survival program. The contents of which are....." She paused, putting the scroll back in her coat.

".....anything goes scroll battle!" Anko explained, taking out two other scrolls.
"Scroll?" Sasuke asked.
"Yes. I want you to fight for two scrolls, the Heaven Scroll and the Earth Scroll." The proctor stated.
The group of Genins stayed silent, waiting for more information from Anko.
"All together, twenty-six teams passed the first test. Thirteen teams get the Heaven Scroll, and the other half gets the Earth Scroll. I'll be handing one scroll to each team. To put it simply, that's what you're vying for." Anko explained.
"Okay, what're the conditions to pass?" Sasuke questioned.
(Y/n) let out a groan of irritation and borem, as she began to lightly bonk her head on Hinata's arm.
"Three of you bring both the Earth Scroll and the Heaven Scroll to the tower in the center." Anko glanced at the bored (Y/n).
"Or four of you." She added.
"That means that of the thirteen teams, half of them are guaranteed to fail." Sakura commented.
"No one ever said it'd be easy." Anko stated.
"I meaaaan." (Y/n) said quietly, which only Team eight could hear.
"For this exam, you guys have one hundred and twenty hours. So five days." Anko added.
"Five days out there?!" Ino said said in disagreement.
"What do we do about food?" Choji questioned in disbelief.
(Y/n): 'Pull it out of a magical bag and don't question where it came from'
"Be self-sufficient! It's a treasure trove in the wild. I'm sure there's more than enough for food." Anko said with her hands on her hips.
"It's teeming with people-eating animals, poisonous insects, poisonous vegetation and much more." Kabuto stated.
"No way..!" Choji complained.
"Quiet down, it's called survival for a reason." Ino told her teammate.
"Beside, it's improbable thag thirty-nine to forty people, thirteen teams will pass." Neji said.
"With the days getting longer, the nights are getting shorter, so we'll have less time to sleep and less time to recover." Rock Lee paused.
"Seems pretty grueling!" He exclaimed with a grin of determination.
"On top of that, you're completely surrounded by nothing but enemies, even falling asleep will be a problem." Sasuke said.
(Y/n): 'Oh no! This is gonna interrupt my non-existent sleep schedule'
"And, those injured in attempts to get the scrolls. There will definitely be people who're unable to endure the rigours of the course." Anko said.
(Y/n) is only now straying away from the conversation by putting on her headphones, and started to listen to (a/a).
(𝚃𝚒𝚖𝚎 𝚜𝚔𝚒𝚙)
The teams have spreaded out already, can were mosting discussing their plans, while the Jonin at the stand were setting up a curtain to hide what happens behind it.
"Sasuke." (Y/n)'s came from on top of the rock which Sasuke was leaning on, and which interrupted his thoughts.
"Hm? Do you need something?" Sasuke looked up at the girl.
"No, not really, I just don't want to socialize with the other people." (Y/n) jump down beside Sasuke and turned on her music.
Oh, and ignored the fact that Sasuke was staring at her and hasn't taken his eyes off her yet.
"It's about time for the scroll exchange!" One of the Jonin announced.
(𝚃𝚒𝚖𝚎 𝚜𝚔𝚒𝚙)
Teams were going in and out of the booth one by one.
Once it was Team Seven's turn, (Y/n) handed a Jonin their papers and took the scroll from his hand.
(𝚃𝚒𝚖𝚎 𝚜𝚔𝚒𝚙)
We're just stationed at gate number twelve.
I truly don't have a plan for this, nor am I that excited.
The Author unfortunately said that I'll be getting the hick- curse mark from the Roach, which I don't really want to get it.
But it is, what it is.
The author did say something about "Deleting it later"
\_(①⌔①)_/
The chain fell down, as the Jonin turnes back to Team Seven.
"We now start the second test of the Chūnin Exam!" Anko announced.
Gates were opened and Genins started entering the forest.
"This is gonna be a interesting five days..." (Y/n) quietly said.

The True Endgame
What defines endgame content? Is it raiding epic dungeons to take down the strongest bosses there are, or is it facing off against other players to climb the ladder and become the top PvPer? Some people even argue that fashion and minigames are endgame content! Ryouta has already done all of that. Having spent most of his life playing MMO after MMO, he now finds himself wanting to live a virtual life that is far more relaxed and casual than what he is known for. To Ryouta, the true endgame is fishing. Cover illustrated by KoeHaru1!
