Fingers fiddling with the remote, my thumb hits play the moment Judah settles in next to me; though I barely pay attention to the opening credits of the animated movie. It's Friday, which means it's movie night at Judah's, although tonight, it's only the two youngest Savestano siblings joining myself and Judah.
Kenji clings onto his brother, a sleepy smile gracing his lips, until his eyes land on his younger sister curled into my side. The youngest Savestano rests her head in my lap, her long lashes fluttering close with each tired blink as she attempts to stay awake. And when she shakes her head furiously to stop herself from falling asleep, I can't help but lean down and laugh quietly, pressing my forehead against her temple. I pull away when she shifts in position again-though this time she's staring up at me, a shy smile on her lips-before tipping her head back to flash my boyfriend a mischievous, knowing grin.
With one hand settling in her hair, I stretch my left palm out to Judah, waiting for him to slip his fingers through my own. He leaves me hanging for a hot minute until I decide to turn my head in his direction. And when I observe the sight before me, I have no room to complain.
Judah's arms are wrapped around the younger boy's shoulders, huge biceps flexing for a brief second, when he pulls away, muttering quietly amongst themselves, pressing a kiss to Kenji's forehead.
Just like that, I find myself falling in love again.
What are the two of you whispering about?I ask. Judah doesn't expect the interruption, flinching when I rest my chin on his shoulder. I refrain from dipping my face into his tatted neck and inhaling his familiar cologne; the one that reminds me of home, of comfort, of safety. The one that my brain instantly associates with my Judah.
I feel him relax when he registers my voice, bringing his palm up to the side of my face and pushing my head down onto his broad shoulder. He gets comfortable when his arm creeps around my waist to pull me closer to his side-as if we weren't close enough-every inch of our bodies pressed against one another, from the top of my head to the tip of my sock-clad feet.
None of your business, my love, he murmurs, grazing his lips across my jaw before pecking my lips.

I blink up at him and frown, Judah Myles Savestano, you are my business.
Little Jesmyn chooses this as the perfect time to tease her eldest brother, patting my hand in reassurance. She said your government name, she sang, giggling to herself. I think you're in trouble.
I snort at the youngsters words and nod. She's right. The two of you-no, the three of you-have been whispering amongst yourselves all night. Is there something I should know?
Kenji is the first to furiously shake his head, blinking innocently. Yana, we'd never hide anything from you, he says softly, discreetly glancing to his brother for approval.
I don't miss the way Judah lifts his thumb up in thanks. The frown on my lips deepens, eyes darting from Jesmyn to Kenji to Judah. An expression of indifference crosses Judah's face, he's not giving anything away, and I almost want to use my bedroom skills to have my way, but I couldn't.
That doesn't sound very convincing... but I'll let the two of you off,I say, narrowing my eyes at the duo.
Judah huffs in amusement, the palm on my waist running down the length of my side before squeezing my hip and addressing Jesmyn. Peanut, where did you learn that?He asks, referring to her last statement.
She shrugs, I hear Auntie Isobel say it all the time whenever Tino annoys Xena.
The last two years have been a whirlwind to say the least. From assisting Judah gain legal guardianship for Kenji and Jesmyn, to watching Valentino and Xena finally admit their feelings for one another, to house-hunting for a place big enough for the three-they only moved in three months ago-to graduating last month and officially registering myself as Junior Doctor.
It's safe to say we've come a long way.
Judah's job at one of the top engineering companies in the country has been nothing short of a safety net. It's been a year since he started, but it feels like five. So much has happened in such a short amount of time, but I couldn't be any more prouder.
And I know his siblings were just as proud.
I'm pulled back into the presence by a deep voice, the sound sending butterflies straight to my stomach. Beneath me, Judah's chest vibrates with each word as he speaks down to his little sister, Don't listen to Auntie Isobel or Jai, alright? They're both stupid. And annoying. And don't listen to Valentino either. He's stupid and ugly. Damn fool needs to pick a struggle.

I lied. Perhaps, some things have stayed the same... including my old grump of a boyfriend.
Judah, I gasp, nudging his side with my elbow. Don't talk about our friends like-" He cuts me off with an open-mouthed kiss, angling his face so that our noses touch. I pull away with a huff and his glare almost instantly dissipates when he catches my eyes, gaze softening before he's leaning down to peck my lips once more.
I love you, pretty baby,he murmurs lowly. Only loud enough for the two of us.
I'm baffled by his actions, but I have no room for complaints. So instead I whisper, As I love you.
And we turn our attention back to the fifty-inch screen in front of us. My eyes flicker to the kids, noticing their eyes are already glued to the screen. It's only then, when my gaze returns to the movie, that I wish I had been paying attention.
It's not the Naruto movie playing on the screen like I originally thought it was.
Well, it is... but it isn't.
Because on screen, I see myself.
An animated version of myself. I see myself dressed in a beautiful, baby blue dress, but that's not what catches my attention or makes me gasp. No. It's the headband around my forehead-the hidden leaf village engraved on the metal plate-that has me doing a double take.
According to the movie, I, Aiyana Sen, have somehow ended up in the Hidden Leaf Village. My mouth drops open in shock, unsure if I should ask Judah whether or not this is a joke, or if I should let my inner Naruto super fan out. I opt for the former and turn to Judah wide-eyed.
Yet, he's already staring at me.
Keep your eyes on the screen, baby, he breathes out, a nervous smile lingering on his lips. It'll all make sense, I promise.
I can only nod wordlessly and turn back to the screen. Jesmyn grips my hand tighter, her shriek of excitement catching me off guard. The movie continues with its focus on me, following me to the candle-lit dinner in our home, until it all clicks in my head.
On screen enters a very familiar character-a character I'm so familiar with, I'm pretty sure I sleep with him every night-dressed in the traditional Jounin uniform.
On screen stands an animated Judah.
On screen Judah reaches for a velvet box.
Oh my God, I breathe out, blinking back the tears because I know where this is leading. I don't have to keep my eyes trained on the screen to know what occurs next.
Because next to me, the real Judah gets on one knee.
Judah?I hiccup, bringing my palms to my mouth as I make a terrible effort to hide my hideous crying face. What are you-
Two years ago I told you I'm in this for the long run,he begins, showcasing his gorgeous, dimpled smile. I pay no attention to the ring and only on the man that I seem to fall harder and harder for every day. Two years ago I told you there would be no-one else but you. I told you I wasn't going anywhere, and after two years, I think we deserve our own happy ending... do you not think so? We said forever. No take-backs... Remember that, baby?
I nod, blinking back the tears and the overwhelming sensation of love and joy that was begging to burst through. Of course. Of course, I remember,I manage to say through a teary laugh.
Jesmyn and Kenji flank his sides, clapping amongst themselves as they cheer him on. I remain seated on the sofa, staring down at the man I love as he inches closer until his minty breath fans my face. His callused fingers reach out to dry my tears, but I want to do nothing more than throw my arms around him.
We said forever, and I'm a man of my word, Aiyana Sen... so please, do me the honour of becoming my wife? Annoy me for the rest of our lives if you wish. My heart has always been yours. Only yours,he breathes out, slipping the diamond ring onto my finger. You're my forever, always. No take backs.
No take backs, and with that, I seal our fate, binding our souls for a thousand lifetimes and so many more.
i was missing them <3

Falling for a Star (Complete)
I had never paid much attention to celebrity gossip or what was going on in Hollywood because that was so far from the lifestyle I lived as a poor college student, working as a barista to save up for my own house after graduation. But then, without my knowledge, my Dad submitted my name into a talk show sweepstakes to win a week with Hollywood superstar Dylan Chase, to see what it's like to live like a celebrity for a week. My Dad thought it would be the perfect chance for me to get out of Iowa, see the world and have an adventure for once. I was dreading leaving home, flying for the first time and going by myself all the way to L.A. Plus the idea of spending a week with an arrogant, rich, snobby actor that was probably the worst kind of womanizer didn't sound like my idea of fun. What I found when I got there and met Dylan was the total opposite; a man that was humble, hard working, easy to talk to, and down to earth. Spending a week in Paradise in the guest house of Dylan Chase's Malibu mansion right on the beach, attending a movie premiere on his arm, shopping on Rodeo Drive and eating at five star restaurants was like a dream come true, but sleeping in his bed and falling for a guy from a completely different world than me was never part of the plan because we could never end up together.
