The next day Lexi and I jump into Skylar's car and head for the bowling alley.

He's great with her! You'd think it'd be a little weird hanging out with the New boyfriend and Hunter's little sister, but it's just so natural.

It's Lexi's turn again and she asks Skylar to help her again! I've caught on to her and I watch them and try not to laugh. Skylar stands behind her, one hand on her shoulder and one on her arm helping her guide the ball.

I wait....and there it is, her cheeks blush every time. It's so cute, I think she may have a little crush on him.

I mean, we both have great taste so I'm not surprised.

"I think you have an admirer," I say giving Skylar a cheeky shoulder bump, while Lexi wanders off to the ladies.

"Ha! yeah she's cute and I'm a sucker for a damsel in distress."

"I'm not sure if asking for bowling tips qualifies as a damsel in distress," I say laughing.

"Aww don't be like that, though I spose I'd be jealous too if I was you, she laughs at all my jokes, she even offered to buy me a slushy," he tells me with a slight smirk.

I give him a little shove and raise my eyebrows in mock outrage.

"Aww don't worry I wouldn't dream of trading you in," he says in a lovey-dovey voice. "Plus your boobs are way bigger."

I shove him again and this time he falls off the chair and onto the floor and we crack up laughing.

"What's so funny?" Lexi asks as she stands over Skylar while he lays on the ground laughing.

"Just Skylar being an egg!"

After we finish bowling Lexi suggests we go get something to eat. I don't think she's quite ready to say goodnight to Skylar just yet. We decide on pizza and head to this cute little pizza parlour near my house.

She watches him while he eats and hangs off his every word. She's such a cutie, Hunter is going to piss himself laughing when I tell him.

But then I catch myself and remember, we aren't speaking at the moment. I've been doing so well not thinking about him, I've found Skylar very helpful with that, but I must admit, I do miss him!

We drop Lexi home and head to mine. Mum is watching desperate housewives of somewhere, I'd rather pull all my teeth out without any numbing stuff than watch that, so we head to my room.

As I close my door I feel Skylar right behind me.

He wraps his arms around me and I turn my head towards him slightly. He kisses me just below my ear.

"I had fun today," he says kissing me again.

"Me too."

I lean into him and he slowly slides his hand down my stomach, he unbuttons my jeans and pushes his hand further down inside my underwear.

My head falls back on his chest and I close my eyes as he applies pressure.

It feels so good as he gently rubs me down there.

"You like that?" He whispers in my ear.

"Mmmmmmm!" Is all I can say.

He's had his hands down there before but for some reason, it feels really good when he does it from behind me.

He moves his other hand up my shirt and pushes up under my bra then gently plays with my nipple.

I smile to myself as I think about his comment about my boobs today and Lexi's crush on him and then from nowhere Hunter pops into my head.

I start to imagine what it would be like if it was him doing this to me and I let out a little moan.

"If you keep making noises like that I'm going to cum in my pants," the voice behind me says and I'm snapped out of my daydream.

My eyes pop open and I stand up straight.

"you ok?"

"Shit...yeah...sorry I think I heard my mum."

I can't keep doing this with Skylar while thinking about someone else, so I use mum as an excuse.

He removes his hands and I almost run out the door.

I quickly head for the bathroom and shut the door.

What is wrong with me, here I am getting my sexy on with Skylar, who is awesome and all I can think about is freakng Hunter.

I look in the mirror and lightly slap my cheeks a couple of times. Snap out of it Maddie! This doesn't change anything, Hunter blew it! You like Skylar! You're moving on!

There's a knock on the door.

"Honey, I'm making some toasted sandwiches, do you and Skylar want one?"

I open the door, I've ruined the night with Skylar so I may as well eat.

"Yes please, that sounds great but just for me, Skylar has to go home."

"Ok, I'll just be in the kitchen then." Then mum's eyes look down and I follow her gaze.

Shit, my pants are still undone!

"Whoops, that's embarrassing, forgetting to do my pants up after going for a wee."

Good save Maddie, I think to myself.

She gives me a questioning look but doesn't say anything else.

Back in my room, Skylar is sitting on the edge of my bed.

"Sorry about that but can we do a rain check, mum needs a hand with some food prep for the cafe tomorrow," I lie.

"Oh ok."

He seems annoyed, but tonight is a lost cause and I'd rather he just go home.

He says goodnight to mum and she gives him a lukewarm reply. She's still not that fussed about him, which I find really annoying but I keep my mouth shut too.

"So what was that all about?" Mum asks.

"What was what about?" I say acting like everything is totally normal.

"I may be cabbage looking but I ain't green!"

I never really understood that saying but I'm pretty sure it means 'you can't fool me.'

"Hunter and Emily broke up," I say like it explains everything.

"And?"

"And now I keep thinking about him. I mean I really like Skylar, he's been amazing but....."

"But he's not Hunter."

"I'm so confused, apart from that kiss he's never told me he has feelings for me. Why can't I just get over him and be happy with Skylar?"

Mum is giving me a pity look, I hate it when she looks at me like that.

"Because it's not that easy honey. When you have strong feelings for someone for as long as you have it doesn't just go away overnight."

I notice she doesn't use the word love, like teenagers don't know what love is and are incapable of feeling it, which also bothers me.

"I only just found out yesterday, maybe I just need some time to get used to it."

"Maybe," she says thoughtfully.

Ok, this conversation is getting me nowhere.

"Good talk," I say and grab the toastie she's just made and head to my room.

"Just remember you don't have to rush into anything with Skylar either ok honey. You have all the time in the world," she yells down the hall.

I know what she really wants to say is 'don't have sex with Skylar cause I don't like him!'

Not that I'm ready for that anyway, it's been fun making out and copping a feel every now and then but I'm definitely not ready for sex yet. I've only known Skylar properly for a few weeks and I'm not prepared to waste my first time, if it doesn't feel completely right it's not happening.

I think I'm going to sleep on it, for a night or two.....or five.
