I was still dumbfounded. I couldn't believe that my parents were supportive.... hold that, excited. They were excited at the prospect of becoming grandparents. I was so confused. But relieved, definitely relieved.
Of course I was relieved even happy about the way my parents took the news that I was pregnant and that Ryker was going to be the father or their first and potentially only grandchild. Yeah I haven't mentioned that to Ryker yet... but after this baby i am done. D O N E! I know that women say being pregnant is an amazing experience and that the pregnancy glow makes up for getting fat and being tired. But i am yet to feel that joy. So far all i have experienced is nausea, bloating and I am currently at that stage where I don't necessarily look pregnant.... just fat. So i have definitely missed out on the glow. Or maybe its coming? Either way I can't see myself voluntarily going through this experience again.
But i guess the adorable tiny infant at the end is a pretty awesome pay off.
Ryker pulls me into his side and kisses my forhead. " see Angel I told you there would be nothing to worry about' I don't say anything in return i just sink into his embrace and enjoy this moment of peace.
It is quickly interrupted as my dad pipes up again "Have you told your brothers?' Again I avoid eye contact. "Oh Savannah" y mum says " You have to tell them. Jackson and Austin will be so excited that they are going to be uncles" I smile curtly and nod. "oh and Rayleigh. Please tell me you've share the wonderful news with her?" " I have momma. But...." I start to look towards the floor.
