I follow my Mr Stein to his office. Mentally going through every scenario in my head... he knows I'm pregnant, he's found someone better for the job, he's going to offer me a secretary position because I'm just not cutting it as an associate. Arghhh! Just stop Savannah.... real.

I settle in the rather large comfy chair across from his desk.

" So Savannah. I just wanted you to know that your work isn't going unnoticed. In fact we would like to promote you to senior associate effective immediately "

Im incompete shock.A huge grin comes across my face and I am speechless

"i'll take that smile as a yes?"

"Absolutely Mr Stein " I replied

"Brillaint" he says " Now before you go as a senior associate you will have more freedom and that starts right now. You'll be handling the case against Forsaken Anarchy.

I immeditaley cringe. Thats Rykers club. Shit!

I don't say anything instead I just thank him and head back to my desk.

I can't take the case. Its wrong and unethical. Ryker is the VP and my baby's father. I have to tell my boss but then he'll know Im pregnant... well this is just a disaster. What do I do?

My thoughts are startled when I hear my phone ringing. Its Ryker... what perfect timing ... NOT!

I grab my phone and answer it

"Hey" I say... its all I can manage to get out to be honest

"Hey Angel" He says "Hows work?"

"It's ok.. really busy. How about you" I reply

"Same old here. Are you feeling better?" He asks seemingly genuinely concerned

"Yeah I am. Haven't had much to eat today.. but I think thats for the best as nothing is really agreeing with me at the moment"

"So i was just checking that you still wanted me to come to your appointment tomorrow?"

"Of course I do" I replied aww... he remembered

"Great. Well I was thinking I could pick you up at lunch and we could make an afternoon out of it. You could even spend the night. Only if you wanted to" he sounds nervous

"That sounds wonderful Ryker. I'll pack some work clothes so I can go straight from yours the next morning" I say with a beaming smile on my face.

"No worries. Well take care Angel. I'll see you and our little one tomorrow."

I instinctively put a hand on my not so flat stomach. He's being so sweet. He'll be a great daddy.

"Yep" I say making sure to pop my P "bye"and with that Ryker hangs up

Now back to my original dilemma. What to do about this case.

Luckily I get distracted in the afternoon by some information in discovery on another case and it has my attention until 7pm that night.

When I get home Ray is the kitchen cooking. I throw my keys down and put my handbag on the table.

"Hey Momma" She chimes "How was work?"

"It was good" I say "I got a promotion"

"WHAT?!" He screams

"Yeah they made me a senior associate so now I get to oversee some of my own cases. I actually got my first case today. I dip my head thoughts heading back to the original dilemma.

"Isn't that a good thing" Ray asks

"Yeah it would be... if the people I was prosecuting didn't happen to be related to my baby

Ray looks at me with a puzzled look

"Your going to have to give me more to go on than that Sav"

"The case is against Forsaken Anarchy - Rykers MC Club.... what am i going to do Ray?"

Well you have to choices. Tell your boss... everything and he'll take you off the case or don't and shit will get awkward real quick.

"ughhh" I groan " I really didn't want to tell him about the baby yet"

"well it looks like that decision is out of your hands now" Ray chimes in
