When I get home its almost 6.30am and I have to be at work in an hour. I rush in and see Ray in her workout gear sitting at the breakfast counter.

"Hey" I say as I glide past her into my bedroom

"Hey yourself" She replies as she follows me with her bowl of granola and yogurt

Im going through my wardrobe picking out something to wear to work today. I decide on a nude pencil skirt, a white blouse and flattering necklace.

"So" Ray says as I am trying to pick out my heels

"So what..." I reply trying to play dumb

" I thought you were just going over there to tell him the good news.... now your spending time with him and what not"

"Yeah... were just trying to get to know each other. I mean he is going to be the father of my baby. It wouldn't hurt...geez Ray.

"Yeah right" She snarls back at me

"And your not wearing his shirt. Don't feed me bullshit Sav... I'm not Mom and Dad" she pauses. "Oh hang on Mum and Dad would actually have to know about the baby in the first place wouldn't they"

Bitch! She is way out of line. That is my decision when and how i tell Mama and Daddy. It has nothing to do with her.

"Ok so what? Were trying to work things out... whats the big deal?"

"The big deal is his a criminal Sav. What do you even know about him?"

"He's not a criminal. He's in a motorcycle club.. big difference and not much... hence why we are getting to know each other."

She lets out a big say and grabs a pair of black pumps and hands them to me "Just don't come running to me broken hearted and expect me not to say I told you so... because you know me Sav, I LOVE to say I told you so"

I huff, I takes the shoes and walk out.

I quickly change into my outfit, pull my hair up into a stylish messy bun and head to work.

As I pull into the parking lot at the firm I glance at my clock 7.27am perfect timing.

I head to my desk and get stuck into my work. Ive got stacks of discovery to go through still and Im meeting with the Mr Stein today to discuss a new case.

A few hours later I pull my head out of the paperwork to discover its nearly lunch time. I am starving but I really don't want to eat just incase i start to feel nauseous again. I grab the crackers out of my bag and start munching on them as I continue to work through discovery.

A few minutes later my boss is standing infront of me. he taps on my desk and I drop my crackers every. "Im so sorry Savannah, I didn't mean to startle you.

"Its ok Mr Stein" I reassure him " I shouldn't be eating at my desk anyway". I say as I fumble to pick up the crumbs of cracker I have dropped on the floor.

"Are you ready to meet" He says in a more stern tone.

"Sure... In your office?" I reply

"Yes please follow me Savanna"
