《The Retribution Contract》7.

The two boys were now hiding in the music room trying their very best to be as quiet as possible. Both of them had bunked their physics class because why not. Once they were sure that no one was around they sighed in relief.
Since the music room was at the secluded floor of the university so it had become the lovers' hiding spot. There was mostly no one around so it was the safest spot to hide. Rexaling a little they both stood up and came out from under the table.
"Kook. You'll play the piano and sing for me today." Taehyung turned around to face the ravenette. "Not today baby. Let's do something else." Jungkook said tucking a strand of hair on Taehyung's face behind his ear. Taehyung pouted hearing him. "You said that the last time as well." Saying this he walked away from Jungkook and went towards the window seating. He sat there with his arms crossed over his chest and sighed angrily. Jungkook on the other hand was doing his very best to suppress his giggles at the other's adorable show of anger.
When Taehyung heard the ravenette's footsteps he turned a little more towards the window just to show the other that he was very angry. Which in reality he was not! He was preparing himself for a back hug but was greeted with the sound of the piano keys instead. He instantly looked to where the piano was and saw his boyfriend playing it while looking at him with his bunny smile.
My mother said I'm too romantic
She said, "You're dancing in the movies"
I almost started to believe her
Then I saw you and I knew
Maybe it's 'cause I got a little bit older
Maybe it's all that I've been through

I'd like to think it's how you lean on my shoulder
And how I see myself with you
Taehyung stood up mesmerised by the heavenly vocals of his lover and walked towards him. He sat right beside the ravenette and leaned his head against the other's shoulder. "Don't stop." he whispered while Jungkook just smiled and continued.
I don't say a word
But still, you take my breath and steal the things I know
There you go, saving me from out of the cold
Fire on fire would normally kill us
But this much desire, together, we're winners
They say that we're out of control and some say we're sinners
But don't let them ruin our beautiful rhythms
'Cause when you unfold me and tell me you love me
And look in my eyes
You are perfection, my only direction
It's fire on fire, mmm
It's fire on fire.
Jungkook kept on singing while Taehyung sat there listening to his beautiful voice. If Jungkook was given the power then he would have stayed in that moment forever. That was how serene it was. It was that day that he had realised that Taehyung was his peace. Nothing but Taehyung. His peace and calm.
"JUNGKOOK!" the ravenette gasped a little startled by the yelling. "Y..Y...Yeah!" he stuttered. "Dude you literally zoned out. What were you even thinking?" Jackson his friend asked. "Not much. This past week has been quite hectic. Just that." Jungkook explained.
Jackson leaned back on his chair and nodded his head sighing. He was very much aware about what all had been happening in the Jeon mansion. Although he wanted to ask a lot of questions but he kept quiet as the ravenette was lost somewhere. He cleared his throat and talked about something else instead. "Jungkook I think that you should go home today." "But what about the Rex?" Jungkook asked resting his head on his palm.

"We'll think something about them tomorrow. It's already seven. I think we should all go home now." Jackson reasoned and Jungkook gave in. He could have stayed back but right now he had too much on his mind. Walking out of his office he went towards his car with a lot of thoughts in his mind.
Throughout the ride back home he was busy thinking about the past week. Yes! It had been a week since their marriage. Taehyung had been religiously following all of his instructions. He would do the household chores all day, listen to their insults and still greet them with his beautiful smile every morning. Jungkook so badly wanted to hate the other but his heart never agreed to do the same.
It was all a facade. A facade to disguise his broken heart. A shield to protect it from breaking any further. Pathetic right? But it didn't matter to him. He was okay with it as long as it could protect his heart from another heartbreak.
Soon he arrived at the mansion. He got out of the car and took a deep breath. Once he had gained his composure he went back to his cold expression. Taking big confident strides he walked into the parlour and called out for his husband. "TAEHYUNG!"
A few seconds later he saw the said male coming down the stairs slowly. He was about to say something but then his eyes fell on the boy's petite form. Something was wrong. Was Taehyung shivering? He unknowingly started walking towards him in concern but before he could do something Taehyung suddenly fainted.
Since there was no one to catch him the boy fell and tumbled down the stairs. "TAE!" Jungkook shouted in horror and ran towards the unconscious boy. He picked him up and laid him on the couch.
Jungkook panicked seeing the bleeding cut on his husband's head and immediately covered it with his hand. "F*ck! He is burning up. Hyung call the doctor immediately." he shouted while his heart was squeezing in worry. He took out a handkerchief from his pocket and quickly tied it around Taehyung's head. The ravenette then gently picked him up and ran to his room.
He didn't even realise that his facade was all broken. If Taehyung was awake then he could have seen the worry in Jungkook's eyes. He could have noticed the way Jungkook was gulping down his tears. Maybe he could have also seen the love he still had for him.
