Aurora
The mysterious man crouched down with his bloody fists as he helped me stand up. The breeze from the wind made me shiver. As soon as I felt the feeling coming back to my body, my legs started to give out. But luckily, the man held me up as I slowly touched the back of my head, and saw blood. "Come on, let's get you in the car." Looking up at him, his dark brown individual braids goes past his shoulders.
His jaw structure compared to any other man's I've either met is sharp as hell. I could only see the side part of his face but I could tell he's handsome. The more I looked, I noticed the medium size cut behind his ear. He picked me up softly but firmly as he carried me to his car. With the arm that he is holding my legs with, he somehow managed to open the passenger side door.
Once he put me into the car, he closed the door as he went back to grab my pants from the ground. I held my head as I had to take a deep breath. I was losing blood but I had to stay awake. I don't know who he is but he saved me from that bastard. I'm thankful but at the same time, scared as I don't know what he'll do to me. I forced my eyes to stay open as I watched him walk back to the car.
He opened the door and got inside as he put my pants on my lap. "Where do you need me to take you?" I was deciding against telling him where James lives.
"Do you need to go to the hospital?" I tried shaking my head slowly but the loss of blood became too much to handle.

"Yeah you most definitely need a hospital." I tried to reach for my phone to text my siblings but couldn't.
"No.... Hospital." I managed to get out slowly in small breaths.
"Ok, I'll take you to my brother's house. He's a doctor. Hold this to the back of your head."
I didn't say anything as he handed me a cloth. He finally started up the car and started driving. Before I knew it, I had passed out.

"Her pressure is dropping, make sure she gets enough fluid in her system. When you feel her forehead and she's hot, put something cold on her just so she won't overheat." I could hear the faint voice of someone speaking to someone else. I tried to open my eyes slowly but they were too weak.
"I can't sit her all day and babysit her. I have work to do." The irritated, pissed off voice spoke and I think it's the man from last night.
"Remember that you brought her here to me. So if you want her to die, you need to watch her. If you don't, have someone you trust watch over her. Either way, my job is done. I've cleaned up her cuts so she won't get infected. I have another patient to attend to." I could feel my fingers starting to twitch as I heard him pack up, and leave.
Someone took a deep breath before I could feel a hand touch my forehead. "I know you're awake." I opened my eyes slowly and was meet with those dark brown eyes looking back at me. Our eyes stayed locked until I blinked and he removed his hand.
"How are you feeling?" I swallowed and tried to speak but my voice was raspy. He grabbed a bottle of water that's sitting on the table next to us and then angled it to my lips.

"You good?" I nodded my head as he ran his fingers through this beard.
"Well I have some business to attend to. I'll send someone to watch after you. If you need anything, ask them." He began to walk away until I spoke.
"Where's my... phone?" I asked slowly. He grabbed something else off the table and it's my phone in a ziplock bag. We locked eyes once again before he left and I was alone. My fingers twitched a bit but I knew I had to open this ziplock bag.
I have to talk to my siblings. I need to make sure they're ok. Opening the bag, I pulled my phone out, and noticed that it's dead.
"Fuck." I said to myself. Just then, a man walked through the door.
"Do you have a charger?" I asked with hopes that he has one on him. He narrowed his eyes at me before he went in his pocket, and grabbed put a charger. Coming closer to me, he plugged his charger into an extension cord before grabbing my phone, and plugging it up as well.
Handing me back my phone, I watched as it came on. "Thank you." He nodded his head as he sat down. I noticed I had many missed calls and messages from my siblings asking where I'm at. I responded to them in a group chat.
They didn't respond and so I decided to call them. Kane didn't respond at first and so I called him back again.
I could hear the worry in his voice as he huffed.
Looking around, I could figure out that I'm in some sort of hospital. Looking at the man sitting in the chair, I noticed he was already looking at me.
"Where am I?" He didn't respond for a while and just looked at me.
"A doctors room." Was all he said and that was weird to me.
Kane yelled through the phone.
