I didn't know what to say. I started to panic on the inside but didn't let it show. I told myself to keep my cool and remain calm. I ignored him as I started walking again, making sure to keep the corner of my eye on him. His voice sounded like he's been smoking cigarettes his entire life. I couldn't make out much of his face as the street light continues to flicker off and on, but I could tell that he has a black pickup truck. The sound of his engine took me out of my thoughts as he followed me. "Come on baby girl. It's cold as hell outside."
"No thanks." Turning back around, I responded. A light on the building behind me came on and I suddenly saw the side of his face. The fear in me flew off the scale as my eyes went wide.
"Jason." I dropped my arms as I started running. My feet continued pushing me as the memories started to hit me all at once.
"Come on, don't be scared. You know daddy got you. Just open your legs a little wider. If you don't open your legs, I'll open them for you."
I felt repulsed and disgusted with myself as I thought about the things he did to me. The way my body reacted to his touch made me want to kill myself. The cold air dried my tears as my eyes suddenly became blinded. I didn't want him to figure out where I was going so I ran down a deserted road. The sound of his engine could be heard roaring as he followed me. My legs wanted to give out but I kept going until I closed myself in a dead end.
I ended up in an alley with no way out. Looking around I realized that I'm cornered. The sound of a car door opening took me out of my thoughts as I could basically feel my heart beating out my chest. I let out a scream as loud as I could in order to attract some sort of attention. No one came out to save me. No one made a noise to let me know that they're there to help. I turned around to look at him as he started walking towards me. I didn't want to back down but the fear in me took over, as I started walking backwards. With every footstep he took forward, I took one backwards.

There was no more space left for me to move and my back ended up hitting something hard. I screamed again but at this point, my voice started to feel hoarse. My heart kept racing to the point that I'm sure he could see my chest pumping. I balled my fists as hard as I could. He took that last step until he was finally in front of me. I could feel his hand move slowly down my my lower body until I gained the courage to stand up to him. Grabbing his hand, I threw it to the side but he was quick enough with a comeback.
His hand flew to my neck as it felt like the wind slapped me across my face. His large hand was able to wrap around my neck completely but he didn't squeeze down. He angled my head to look directly into his eyes and the scar across his face brought back bad memories.
"You dumb bitch! I told you to stop moving. You don't want to listen, now I'll have take it forcefully."
That's when I slashed him across his face with his own knife that he had sitting on the dresser. I could tell by the look on his face that he's not over it. "You thought you could escape me huh? You thought you could leave out of my life and I wouldn't find you?" I didn't say anything which angered him as he shook his hands around my neck. My head flew back and hit the wall but I didn't want to show pain.
Looking him in his eyes, I had enough. Taking the bit of courage that I have, I used it to spit right in his face. His hands dropped from my neck as he went to wipe the spit off, and I screamed as loud as I could. I tried my best to maneuver around his body as I took two steps away from him, before he grabbed me by my braids. My body flew back against the wall as he punched me in my stomach. I couldn't hold in the tears or screams that wanted to come out as I slid down the wall. My eyes became blinded with tears as I held my stomach in pain.

I prayed to God that he would help me get out of this situation but it doesn't seem like he hears my prayers often. I could feel his hands lay me on my back as I looked up at the sky. I tried to fight back but received a smack to the left side of my face. That was enough to make me stop moving. The smell of piss, weed, cigarettes, and alcohol surrounded me as as I zoned out. He cuffed his hands inside my pants as he pulled them down my legs.
Music could finally be heard blasting from someone's speaker as I could feel his fingers find their sneaky way inside my panties. Taking a deep breath, I tried screaming out for help.
"HELP ME!" But Jason slapped his hand over my mouth. I closed my eyes as I tried to dream of another time. A happier time, something better than this.
"You like this don't you, you dirty bitch? I can feel you getting wet." He said as I could feel him playing with my clit before forcing his middle finger inside me. The tears kept coming down my face as he added his index finger, and started to go at a faster pace.
I tried to coach myself on my breathing as I listened to the music. I could hear his zipper being unbuttoned as I slowly turned my head to the left. Footsteps could be heard but it didn't seem like he was paying it any attention. My eyes focused on the figure of the man that walked towards us. "Get the fuck away from her!" A deep voice yelled out before knocking Jason off me as he started to punch him all over. The man continued beating the shit out of him as I fought to stay awake.
I could hear his fists making contact with Jason's bones as it sounded like it was breaking with each punch. I could feel myself starting to drift off to sleep but I forced myself to stay awake. The man stopped beating Jason up as he let his body dropped to the ground, before turning towards me.

The Humble Life of a Skill Trainer
For Joshua Still, Skills were the lifeblood of his business. He wanted to understand them, collect many of them, and teach a few of them. Which was a problem because while his profession of a Skill Trainer was perfectly legal, it was frowned upon by most of the kingdom. After all, it wouldn't do for a non-tailor to teach Tailoring. Or, so says the Tailors Guild. The same could be said by the Blacksmiths, the Bakers, the Butchers, the Candlestick Makers, the Mages, and every other Guild with enough money and clout to complain. But still, Skill Trainers provide a valuable service, and so he has managed to start his business and keep it under the table. To a degree. With many a bribe. But his quiet anonymous life of research, practice, and training was about to change. When the Baron demands you pay him a visit, you have little choice.
