Before I can argue my friends instantly begin helping my get ready for Ashely's party. We set up in my bathroom. I sit on a stool and Shay begins doing my makeup. Lucy is straightening my hair I washed a few hours ago. In the background music from Spotify is blasting away on my iPad. All of my girls here with me, know what happened with me and Patrick. Although we are avoiding the topic. For a few moments as I'm getting my makeup and hair done no one says anything. I let my mind drift to myself walking away from my fiancé. He stood in the doorway shouting my name but by that point I told myself not to look back. That it was better to keep moving forward. Before I closed the door to our condo Patrick told me he would fly back to L.A in three days and move out his belongings from our house. As I snap back to now I notice that photograph by Ed Sheeran starts playing. "Changing the music. No cheesy break up songs allowed here." Lucy announces. I laugh. She instantly changes the music to something I like, Kendrick Lamar. I turn around and thank her. It takes half an hour for my friends to get me ready. 

Shay and Lucy both admire my hair and makeup with me in my bathroom mirror. I put an arm around both of them and smile. "You two really do know how to make a girl feel better." I tell them. "Anything for you T." Shay smiles and kisses me on the cheek. Lucy kisses my other check. I quickly grab my iPhone off the bathroom counter and snap a photo of us with Sasha and Lulu in the background. I post it to snapchat and Instagram right away. Just as I look up from my phone, I see Sasha and Lulu standing in the doorway of my bathroom. Sasha is holding up a gorgeous sleeveless white dress. Shay and Lucy stand there admiring it for a moment with me. I walk over to Sasha and give her a big hug along with Shay and Lucy. "Thanks guys." I say to my friends in this moment I am grateful to have such caring and supportive friends. I slowly feel like all the anger inside of me is starting to go away. I'd probably still be in bed if it wasn't for all of them. After we all break apart Sasha hands me the dress and I begin taking off my jeans and tshirt. My friends go and change in a guest room across the hall, leaving me and Lulu in my room.

"Are you sure you don't want to come tonight?" I ask her and I give her the best puppy dog face I can. Once my clothes are off I quickly realize I am wearing a black bra and thong. Not suitable underneath a white dress. I sigh as I walk over to my dresser and open a drawer where my bras and panties are. I find a plain white bra and a white lace thong. I quickly put them both on and walk back over to my bed.

"I'll be fine. I have Charlie, Bella and Elvis to keep me company." Lulu says. She is currently holding Elvis in her arms as he licks her face. "You enjoy yourself. I'll be here when you get back." I smile. Lulu has been my best friend since I was fifteen and always felt more like a sister to me. Once I'm dressed I wave goodbye to Lulu and head downstairs to wait for my friends. As I descend the stairs I see they are already waiting for me. When I reach the bottom they all whistle like I'm the hottest girl in the room. "You're a hottie Troian!" Lucy says to me. Shay and Sasha nod their heads agreeing with her. They are all dressed up as well. Sasha is wearing a long flowing lavender dress with ruffled sleeves, Shay is wearing a red tank top and leather skirt with hoop earrings, and Lucy is wearing a yellow and black striped romper.
