Boggarts and Hippogriff
"You look awfully excited today." Jake took a sip from his goblet. Ella had been smiling ears to ears, and can't stop thinking about what Care Of Magical Class today is going to be like.
"Oh, she's just excited for class," Seraphina said, getting a weird look from both Jake and James. And they turned to Ella with the same face. "Oh c'mon! I've been waiting forever to be in the third year so I can finally learn magical creatures."
"I'll get them to attack you one day." She smirked at the boys.
Seraphina was enjoying how stupid their acting, looking around, "Where's Ced?"
"Hm? Oh, dunno. Ask these two." James pointed at the entrance of the Great Hall, showing Cedric running towards them. "Late, Diggory?" Seraphina raised an eyebrow.
"Amanda seems to lost her toad, so i tried to help her search for it. We found him though." He said in the middle of panting with his arm resting on the table.
Another voice spoke next to them, "Yeah, sorry Cedric.." Amanda apologizes, feeling bad.
"No worries."
Hearing the bell ring, they all got up and half of the students in the Great Hall took their leaves to their classes.
"We have Defense Against The Dark Arts first- Ella where's your book again?" Seraphina groaned. For years, Seraphina seems to be her reminder, true she's a troublemaker and a rebel but she always reminds Ella what class they have or did she have her books or not.
Ella lifted her book, "Here. I got them ready early that night, let's go.."
___
At the beginning of the class, the students talked and sent notes to one another while Professor Quirrel explained the meaning of Boggarts.

Seraphina seems can't be taking the smell of the garlic, it was too strong!
"Oii, Ell. Psst." The twin threw a few balls of paper on her head. "What?"
"Do you reckon Professor had been stuffing garlic in his turban?" Fred asked, wiggling his eyebrows.
Ella twitched her nose, she never thought about that." I'm not sure.." she narrowed her eyes to Professor Quirrel who was still trying to explain Boggarts.
Seraphina groaned, "I can barely understand what he's explaining! He's always stuttering words. Good thing my book is actually with me during this time."
Students were learning by their book themselves since Professor Quirrel had been stuttering non-stop.
Professor Quirrel suddenly brought a cabinet in Infront of the class, students were silent, confused, and curious about what Professor is doing.
"Is that the Boggart's cabinet?" A Gryffindor student raised her hand. "V-very good, Miss. Morason. Ten points to Gr-gryffindor. It shows you what you f-fear the m-most."
"Riddikulus, that's the spell. We read the books because you stuttered a lot." A male voice this time made her turn to the familiar boy, the boy who she Jinxed or Hexed in her first year from stopping him from insulting Talicia, William Avery.
"We have to think of something that is funny to change the thing we most feared to a funny thing." Ella raised her hand next.
"V-very good, Mr. Avery and Ms. Black. Everyone l-line up, l-let see what you- fear t-the most."
Everybody lined up, taking their turn to change their Boggarts into something funny.
Ella felt butterflies in her stomach, she was so nervous to see what she was scared of the most. Thinking deeply about what she scared the most.
Right now it was James's turn in line. Ella quickly brush over her thought to see what he was scared of the most.

There was a body of his family, dying. Whispers and gasps escaped from students' mouths and fill in the class. James took his wand, pointing at the Boggarts, and exclaimed, "Riddikulus!"
The students began to applaud James. "Great job, James." Ella smiled at James as Seraphina went Infront.
The Boggarts have changed into a snake. "Riddikulus!" The snake had changed into a chicken.
The whole class was laughing at the chicken, "Are you still hungry, Sera?" Jake shakes his head.
It was now Ella's turn to see her Boggarts. She had completely forgotten about what she feared the most because of Seraphina's Boggarts.
The Boggarts began to change. Her smile fades when she saw a figure of her own father, who seems to escape Azkaban.
Again, whispers began to fill the classroom. She had remembered how she used to be afraid of her own father. Couldn't think of anything funny, Jake took his wand and change it into something else for her since she couldn't do anything.
The figure of Sirius Black became a scarecrow, changed by Jake himself. The class let out a laugh. Ella was still frozen, thinking why is she still afraid of him.
True she had been listening to horrible things she had done, but she would be so scared if he actually escape Azkaban.
"You alright, Ell?" Jake asked with concern. "Yeah, I'm fine.." she smiled up to her friends.
After class, some people were making fun of other boggarts, especially Ella.
"Oh shut up, Bitches! You would have been afraid if Sirius Black escape Azkaban!" Seraphina screams at the other students, making them run away.
"Oh cheer up, Ell. We have Care Of Magical Creatures next! Don't want you showing your sad face to the Creature now do we?" James said with a smirk.
Ella nudges him, "Shut up." She said with a smirk too.
"Let's go.." Jake hates walking to the forbidden forest, he ran instead so he could be there faster.
___
Professor Kettleburn came to the class with a Hippogriff. The Hippogriff seems to be wild but it's Hogwarts's it can't be wild, can it?
William Avery made a disgusted face, "What is that really!?"
"This is Flowfeather. Today we will be learning Hippogriff. Now, who would like to go approach her first?"
Everyone stay stood until Jake had pushed Cedric in Infront of the class, "Cedric Diggory! Great job! Come!" Cedric glared at the laughing Jake.
He looked at the Hippogriff, eye in eye. Walking slowly towards it and bowed. The Hippogriff made a noise as it bowed at Cedric after some time. The class was clapping for him. "Well done! Ten points to Hufflepuff! Go ahead, you can pat her now."
Cedric was a bit shaken by the Hippogriff, he walks closer to the Hippogriff and patted it softly.
Another applause came from the students.
"Now who would like to go next?" Students raised their hands, making Professor Kettleburn laugh and hard for who to choose.
"That was terrifying, Jake!" He hissed at Jake but ended up laughing with him, "I'll kill you once we're back in the dormitory."
"What are you talking about? It was amazing!" Seraphina nudges him.
Ella nodded in agreement, "Could've sworn he nearly peed himself. But, yeah! I wanna go next! Flowfeather looks so nice!"
