——————
"Draco, Voldemort (he cringed) doesn't even want to kill me, he's after Harry, I don't even have a scar (I lifted the fringe of my hair up to show I didn't have one) for the love of merlin Draco, he doesn't care about me. Although I care about you, so you have to settle with that, that's what you did when you sent that first letter in the beginning of the year" I told him sternly.
Draco stood there frozen in shock, "I have to fix a vanishing cabinet that has a sister in borgin and burks to let other death eaters into the castle and then I need to, to" he couldn't finish his sentence before breaking down. I instantly hurried over, stroking his back calmly and shushing him quietly, "shh, it'll be alright" I whispered to him.
——————
After Draco had calmed enough to speak he whispered "I have to kill D Dum" he stopped at that and I knew who he had to kill, Dumbledore. I looked Draco in the eyes before sighing quietly "Draco you don't have to, Harry and I can help you" I told him and he shook his head "no you can't Y/N, don't push it, stop trying to help" Draco managed weekly.
I looked down at the floor but took Draco's hands into my own, "let me help you please" I whispered before stroking a tear away from his cheek as it slowly fell down. Draco looked me in the eyes and shook his head slowly like I was starting to convince him "at least let me keep you company" I whispered to him and he seemed to argue with himself.
"Fine" he whispered back, I hugged him tightly to me before noticing the time, "I should get to bed, how about I'll meet you in front of the ROR tomorrow?" I asked Draco and he nodded. "I have to start working early though" Draco said and I smiled a little and nodded "fine by me should we meet after early breakfast?" I asked him and he seemed surprised I was still willing to stay with him.

I woke up early and hurriedly got dressed to get down to breakfast.
When I arrived in the great hall I noticed Draco sitting at the Slytherin table and pushing his food around his plate, until he seemed to look up and catching my gaze. Draco smiled gently and ate a little off of his plate while I sat down and served myself some toast, eggs, bacon and a single sausage.
——————
I noticed Draco standing my a pillar on the seventh floor and smiled as I jogged over to him "hi" I whispered as to not disturb the paintings around us that were sleeping later than normal. Draco smiled and nodded before the two of us walked to the wall where there soon would stand a door for us to enter the ROR we both entered quietly and made sure the door got closed.
Draco put his hand out for me to take and I raised a amused eyebrow at him "I don't want you to get lost among all the trash" Draco said quietly and I nodded gently taking his hand into mine and nodding. Draco slowly started walking into the room like he knew exactly where he was going in the room, I looked at the back of Draco's unkempt hair and smiled.
"You know, you should keep your hair like that more often, it suits you" I told him a tiny blush on my face as he turned around and smiled a little "thanks, I'll keep that in mind" Draco said quietly like he was afraid to scare me or something if he spoke to loudly. I smiled and nodded until we were stood in front of a huge cabinet with a cover over it to make sure no one would be able to see it unless they took the cover off.

Draco let my hand go and pulled the cover off of the vanishing cabinet before turning to face me and smiling a little, "well this is the cabinet" Draco said scratching the back of his neck like he seemed nervous. I nodded astonished at the beauty of the cabinet in front of me "what's there to fix about this beauty?" I gently asked Draco as I ran a single hand along the cabinet itself to feel the gentle wooden texture underneath my fingers.
"It needs to work, it doesn't matter to everyone else if it's pretty or not, just if it works to get the death eaters in or out, to be quite honest I'm almost finished with it I think" he said and I nodded. I took in the details for a little while longer before stepping away to give him his space to work on fixing it, I found a small chair that I sat myself on while I talked to Draco about school and other things.
——————
After having been in the ROR for about five hours we left for lunch, I had pretty much dragged Draco out of there.
I noticed Harry and shot myself behind a pillar since Draco had been walking beside me, "Potter" Draco said with a sneer and I noticed Harry rolling his eyes. Before they went to fighting I snuck myself into a passageway so I could stop the fighting, sure I was mad as hell at Harry but that didn't mean I would want him fighting with Draco.
I got back out and walked over to them "stop fighting" I told Harry harshly and pushed him away, Hermione and Ron were there as well just watching and enjoying like they usually did. I gave Draco a look telling him to get his butt into the great hall for lunch before I'd take him there myself.
"What do you think you're doing?" I scolded harry angerly and he groaned "you're not my mom, you can't tell me what I can and can't do" Harry spat and we both froze. I backed away from him with hurt in my eyes, our parents were always a weak spot for me and Harry knew it.

The Sea of Destiny
[Let me be straight with you. This is trash, like old dime store novel trash. Don't expect grandiose writing, anything profound, or much beyond being free of spelling errors. Like my profile says, it’s hopefully like a salty snack, decent and satisfying for people looking for this kind of thing (at least that's my hope). It is simple, weird, and most likely growing in ridiculousness as it rapidly escalates.] Michael just wants to get away after a rough breakup. He figures some time alone cruising on a sick jet ski will help clear his head. After a small series of mishaps he winds up as humanities last hope adrift at sea after nuclear devastation destroys the mainland. Will he be able to solve the mystery of the bowl of the ancients before nuclear winter freezes over his dwindling food supply? Who are these mysterious women he keeps meeting, and will he even care about the talents they bring to the table, or will he be too focused on how they keep ruining his carefully laid plans for survival at sea? Read this cheesy short story to see for yourself, and discover the true mystery behind the hand of fate.
