Persephone woke up to little feet jumping and shaking the bed.

"MAMA! BABA!" Melinoie called, "Wake up!"

Persephone snuggled closer into Hades' chest, which was still rising and falling at a slow pace. She felt his warmth comfort her and she smiled.

Melinoie climbed onto Persephone's back and hugged her mama from behind.

"Wake upppp!" She whispered in her ear, "Mama, are you awake?"

"Mmm... no." Persephone teased with a smile on her face. She pretended to go back to sleep when she felt a shift on her mattress as she started to lean towards Hades' side of the bed more.

"Baba!" Melinoie called, "Yay! Mama's still sleeping."

Hades smiled, "Well then let's wake her up, shall we?"

Melinoie's face lit up, "Yeah!" She leaned over to Persephone again and shook her awake, "MAMA!" Wake up!"

Persephone groaned and slowly peeled her eyes open.

Melinoie was on her back and Hades' hand was resting on his daughter's shoulder.

"Why don't you go wake Macaria and Zaggerus up too, Princess." He told her.

"Okay, Baba!" And Melinoie lept off the bed and stormed into her sister's room.

Persephone sat up and yawned.

"Good morning, my darling." Hades greeted his wife and placed a gentle kiss on her forehead.

"Good morning." She sleepily replied.

Hades peppered kissed across her cheek and down her neck, "How's my lovely-"

*BOOM *

"WAKE UPPPP!!!"

"MACARIA!" Melinoie whined.

"Melinoie! What did we say about waking your siblings up like that? You're gonna break the door down!"

"Sorry, Baba! I won't do it again, they just wake up better!"

Hades rolled his eyes, "Yeah, maybe we should go feed them."

*BARK *

"And them..." Persephone added.

Hades quickly, but passionately kissed her lips and stood up, holding out a hand to offer some support for his wife.

Persephone gladly accepted and followed him to the kitchen where all three kids and 8 dogs were waiting.

"Mama! Baba!" Melinoie and Zaggerus called and ran up to them.

Hades' arm was wrapped around Persephone's shoulders, so they were close together. They bent down on their knees and lifted their kids up, including Macaria.

"Good morning, little monsters!" Hades

greeted them with a bunch of kisses.

"Ewww, Babaaaa!" Macaria whined, Zagreus pulling away.

Melinoie gladly accepted them with a kiss to his forehead and climbed down.

"What would you like for breakfast, guys?" Persephone asked as she stepped towards the pantry.

"WAFFLES!!" All three kids called out.

Hades chuckled, "Well okay, Melonie, Zaggerus, go feed the dogs, Macaria, you feed Cerberus!"

Macaria always fed Cerberus since she was the goddess of blessed death, and knew a lot about souls and how to handle them. They just clicked, and Cerberus adored her.

Cerberus' meals always consisted of souls of murderers and egg whites while the other pups had their own personalized, regular dog food in separate containers which made it easy for Melonie and Zaggerus to feed the them.

Hades walked over to his wife, who was struggling to reach the waffle maker. He placed one hand on her shoulder and easily reached up and got the machine down for her.

"Thank you!" Persephone said while putting a hand up to his cheek and bringing it down for a quick kiss.

"I'm done, Mama! Can I help?" Melonie asked.

"Of course you can, sweetie! Go grab a whisk and you can beat the eggs!" Persephone said and kissed the top of her head.

While Persephone and Melonie made the waffles, Hades kept their other kids entertained in the living room with the dogs.

This was their usual Sunday, Persephone and Melonie made breakfast while Hades, Macaria, and Zaggerus taught the dogs new tricks or played fetch.

"Okay, Cerbie, goooo-" Macaria's arm went behind her head as she prepared to launch the stick.

"Hold on a sec, Ari, your form is good, but if you want to throw it very far, position your right arm like this," Hades gently bent her arm up a bit, "and your left arm will be up and pointing in the direction you're throwing the ball at." Hades lifted her left arm up. "Okay, you're all set, go ahead!"

Macaria flung the stick across the large room and Cerberus flew after it.

"Thanks, Baba!" Macaria wrapped her arms around his neck and hung onto it as Hades stood up.

"No problem, baby." He placed his hands onto her hips and held her as she let go.

Zaggerus was playing around with Cordon Bleu, who actually liked him a lot, which shocked Hades and Persephone. He usually doesn't like anyone.

"Okay, hun, you wanna call Baba and your brother and sister? Tell them breakfast is ready!"

Persephone told Melonie.

"Yeah!" Melinoie rushed over to Hades, Macaria, and Zaggerus and jumped on Hades' back, "breakfast's ready, Baba!"

"Okay, sweetheart, thank you!" Hades chuckled, "C'mon, Zaggerus!" He called after his son.

Macaria was on his shoulders while Melinoie was in his arms and laughing as Hades tickled her lightly.

"Coming, Baba!" Zaggerus followed.

Persephone saw her husband and kids barreling into the kitchen, laughing. She smiled and walked over to them and kissed her husband. She kissed her girls and picked Zaggerus up while ruffling his hair and kissing him.

"Okay, all toppings are on the counter, so go and make your waffles!" Persephone said.

The kids raced and trampled over each other to get the best waffle.

Hades pulled Persephone into his arms and kissed her, "Thank you, sweetness, this looks delicious!"

"Hey! I helped!" Melinoie interrupted while shoving her waffle that was drenched in syrup in her mouth.

"You too, Mel!" Hades chuckled, "get some strawberries with that waffle, you need to eat something other than pure sugar for breakfast!"

Zaggerus finished first and put his dish away, he ran over to his mom and kissed her cheek, "Thanks, Mama! Can I watch cartoons now?"

"Yes, but when your sisters finish, turn something on that all of you want to watch, okay?"

"Okay mama!" Zaggerus dashed into the living room and plopped onto the couch next to Cordon.

Melinoie finished next and thanked her mama and ran after Zaggerus. Macaria stood up calmly and put her and her sister's plate away. She kissed her mom and dad and said, "love you! Thanks!" And walked out to watch cartoons with her siblings.

"Well, let's eat and we can join them!" Hades said. He picked Persephone up and carried her over to the counter, where she ate breakfast in his laps.

They finished and joined their kids in watching cartoons and eating popcorn.

This was a regular Sunday for them, and Hades and Persephone wouldn't change it for the world.
