You were wearing this to the carnival:
It's a busy afternoon, lots of people coming to 'enjoy' the parade in all of it's glory.
Richie was honking the tuba, loudly as us Losers' discused the missing kids and whatnot.
"They say they found his hand all chewed up near the StandPipe." Stanley informed. "It seems she's been for-forgotten because Corcran's missing." Bill flipped the page over and revealed a missing kid poster that read 'Betty Ripsom'. "Will it ever end?" Stanley asked curiously. "What the fuck dude?" Richie cussed as the performer snatched his tuba back. "What're you guys talking about?" Eddie asked as he handed Richie an ice cream. "What the always talk about!"
I frowned. "I actually think it will end, For a little while at least." Ben implied. "What do you mean?" Beverly tilted her head slightly. "So I was going all over my Derry research and I charted down all the big events-The Ironworks explosion in 1908, the Bradley Gang in '35, and the Black Spot in '62, and now kids being.." He looked at Bill, "I noticed all this stuff seems to happen every- 27 years." They both said.
•••
(You were sitting on your skateboard next to Beverly)
"Okay, so let me get this straight, it comes out from where ever to eat kids for what- like a year? Then just goes back into hibernation?" Eddie summed up. "Maybe it's like.. Cicadas! The bugs that come out once every 17 years?" Stan assumed. "My grandfather thinks this town is cursed. He says that all the bad thingsin this town comes from one thing.. An evil thing that feeds off all the people of Derry." Mike reasoned. "But it can't be one thing. We all saw something different. Did you see anything Y/n?" Everyone shifted their heads to me except Richie. "I did. At the quarry I saw a clown but it wasn't for a second- it was my father. It tried to trick me that it was him, but I know he is not alive anymore." I murmured.
"Maybe...maybe it knows what scares us most and that's what we see." Mike added. "I-i saw a leper. It was like a walking infection." Eddie supplied. "But you didn't, because it isn't real. None of this is. Not Eddie's leper, not Y/n seeing her father, or Bill seeing Georgie, or the woman I keep seeing.. -is she hot?" Richie smirked. "No Richie, she's not hot!" Stanley hissed while he frowned, and I wanted to give him a fist pump for that one. "Her face is all messed up, none of this makes any sense! They're all like bad dreams." Stan quivered. "I don't think so, I know the difference between a bad dream and real life okay?" Mike defended.

"What'd you see? You saw something too?" Eddie bumped in. "Yes. You guys know that burnt down house on Harris Avenue?" I shook my head but he proceeded, "I was inside when it burned down. Before I was rescued, my mom and dad were in the next room over from me. They were pushing and pounding on the door, trying to get to me.. but it was too hot. When the firemen finally found them their skin on their hands had melted down to the bone." I seriously thought everyone had a perfect life except me, but it turns out it's not what it is in this town."Everyone's afraid of something." Mike added. "Got that right." Richie turned around to the circus show. "Why Rich? What are you afraid of?" Eddie pressured. "Clowns." He turned back around fixing his frame.
I couldn't take this crap anymore. I walked over to Stan and whispered in his ear, "I'm going to the meadows. Don't follow me." He nodded as I raced off with my skateboard.
Richie's POV
"Where's Y/n going?" Eddie asked. "Meadows, don't know why though." Stan answered, "Maybe it's because someone who's being an absolute asshole to her." Beverly furrowed her brows and looked towards me. "What?" I said defensively. "Oh you know what Hoe-zier." Beverly seemed really mad. "What the hell do you mean?" I threw up my hands and everyone raised their brows. "If you w-won't tell us, ap-pologize to Y/n. You act like you don't even k-know her." Bill ranted. "Mhm." I zoomed off with my bike.
•••
At last, I made it to the meadows and saw Y/n sitting on her board, looking like she was brainwashed. I heard a few sniffles as I approached. "What the hell do you want?" Y/n hissed, looking at nothing. "I just wanted to apologize, jeez." She looked at me with the crusties tears and face red, "Go on." I took a deep breath and sat down next to her, but in the grass. "What's the ma- what's the matter? Oh that's a classic. You've been avoiding me for two damn days in a freaking row and you're pretending like you don't know!" She flared, "And I dont know why but care to explain?" She puffed. "I should be the one upset, you keep flirting with Stanley!" I spat. "Flirting? Flirting? We're just friends Richie. Why should you care anyways, this group is full of boys and only two girls! Like I told you, I don't like anyone besides you!" She instantly covered her mouth, "I mean.."

"You like me?" I widened my eyes. "No." She blanked out. "It's okay if you do because I like you too. More than a friend, more than a best friend." I confessed. "Really..?" I nodded really fast. We turned to each other, leaned in, and pressed our lips together. There were butterflies in my stomach and that was super weird for me. As we pulled away, I blushed madly and so did she. "I was w-wondering if you wanted to go out tonight?" I rubbed by neck nervously. Jesus, no ones ever made me feel this nervous.
"I'd like that." She smiled and walked off, assuming back to the group. "Where's Eddie's inhaler when you need it?!" I thought to myslef.
BACK TO YN'S POV
I walked back to the group, very red with Richie following.
"So, did you guys make up or make out?" Stanley sneered. "Both." Richie smirked and I whacked him on the arm, "Ow!" He whined rubbing his arm and I rolled my eyes. "We should stay to watch the fireworks and the parade." I suggested and they nodded. It was already like evening. We sat down on the grass, feet on the concrete of the street directly across from an ice cream parlor. "Who wants ice-cream?" Beverly stood up. "ME!" I hopped up and she chuckled. "Look at Y/n's ass go." I heard Richie comment and I flipped him off, still walking away. "Look at my ass again and I'll shove my foot up your ass." I roared and continued to follow Beverly.
We made our way into the parlor and since there was no line just people sitting at the bar, we went to the counter and ordered. I ordered Green Mint and she ordered Strawberry-Lime. "Nice choice Bev!" I smiled. "Thanks!" She said while licking her ice cream. I turned my head and saw Crystal sitting at the table, but she was with a boy. I smiled. "We should probably go.." I physically scooted her outside. "Wow it's already dark!" Beverly sounded amazed and I giggled.
The boys were still sitting where we left them, Beverly sat next to Bill on the left side and I sat next to the air, because why not? Eddie sat next to Richie, Stanley eventually sat next to me, and Ben next to Mike. "It's beautiful isn't it?" I heard Beverly say. "Ye-Yeah.." I leaned over and Bill was staring at Beverly while she looked at the sky. I chuckled. Richie looked at me with a cute look on his face.
"The parade is starting!" Mike clapped. There was a crowd pretty much crowding on the other sidewalk. "Wow!" I clapped. There was a band performer that Richie had stolen his tuba from, when he walked by the guy looked at Richie, flipped him off, and smiled. Richie imitated his actions and we all laughed loudly. "Fucking cunt." Richie cursed loudly under is breath.
•••
The parade had ended and the fireworks were starting. "Look!" I pointed at the purple fireworks that made a heart shape. "Okay guys, I'll be right back." Richie ran off.
5 minutes later...
Richie ran back over and pointed at the sky and it read, 'Y/n L/n is so sweet, she can do anything, EVEN ME!'~From Richie Tozier, the trashmouth.' I blushed super hard and my eyes twitched at the last part. Everyone giggled and awed. "Gee thanks Rich.." I smiled. "No problem!" He smiled. "That's not really creative Richie." Eddie coughed. "I was on a budget okay?" Richie defended.

Condemned
“The human body is a fragile thing. But the soul... The soul is malleable. Easily tainted. All it takes is one drop of blood to dye it all red.” Long ago, in a time remembered only by a few, the seven lords of Syvernia, led by the Great Hero Ludwig, ended the Great Calamity that plagued humanity for as long as time itself. It was the dawn of a new age of man. . . until the thirst for more poisoned the new lords. Slowly, the thread that held humanity together loosened and a thick haze consumed the lands between. Mysterious vanishings, supernatural forces, and silence warns of a looming threat inside the coat of fog. Though the struggle of the realms did not interest Leor, for he was condemned as a Purblight, until he took a seemingly simple job: escort Alden to Lightendale and collect the handsome reward, a reward that would let him live the rest of his life with ease. But it’s never that simple, especially for someone who denounced the Gods. All his life, death followed Leor everywhere he went, cutting down his friends and family. When his first love died at the hands of an agent of light, he was prepared to throw everything away until a mysterious voice promised him a chance for retribution and a chance to bring her back by completing the seven trials. Thrown into the realm's struggle against the approaching haze and themselves, will Leor, a Purblight and an acquaintance of tragedy, use the very power he disdains to accomplish his goals? This is the rewrite of my novel: Condemned; I changed it to past tense and added/ took out some ideas from the original. This is essentially the first draft since I'm writing as I go. Also, there might be or might not be Gore, Sexual, or Traumatizing content. I only put it there for a disclaimer in case I want to add it. I have no set release schedule yet, but I'll try to post once every 2 week. Thanks for your patience.

The Due
Every sailor knows the tale of Davy Jones' Locker. That place drowned sailors are sent to, ever resting on sea's bed. Some tales recount of a ghostly ship, the Flying Dutchman. Many a story has spawned from these two tales. Countless retellings mixing in their own fictions. But all stories spawn with a kernel of truth to them, and the story of Davy Jones is no exception. Those who've met the legendary seaman and his ghostly ship might call him a ferryman, escorting the drowned to their respective afterlives. Others might call him a devil, meting punishment on those deserving. The true story is always slightly different. Davy Jones is a ferryman, but not one for the afterlife, as Walter finds out. No, Davy Jones manages those who die at sea while in debt, and Walter died with a lot of debt. Unable to pay, Davy puts Walter to work. The specter has just the job for the dead college graduate. Another god, Sod, needs an afterlife for his new world. Davy tasks Walter with the job. Suddenly, Walter finds himself having to run a fledgling underworld with little instruction from Sod. To top it off, the denizens of Sod's world have their own ambitions to achieve godhood, and they won't take kindly to Sod's newest employee shaking up the status quo. [Traumatizing Content tag is up just to let everyone know this will be a story that deals with different themes of death. Some of them won't be nice and so better to be safe than sorry.]
