《Blood and Ink》The Last Reel: Part 2

"Sammy?!"

It was true. The songwriter was back, and he sounded beyond furious.

"I trusted you! I gave you everything..." The old songwriter yelled, ""

Sammy threw the axe in his hands straight for Bendy's head, but Bendy threw himself out of the way before it got too close. Sammy pulled a dagger of sorts from his pockets, running towards Bendy, ready to stab him with the said weapon. That, on the other hand, was an excuse to grab his axe. He ran towards Bendy again swinging the axe around in a fit of rage.

"Come here and put your face in my axe!" He yelled again.

Bendy ducked from another swing from his axe and retaliated with a jab to the stomach, stunning him a little.

"Why the hell is he going after me?!" Bendy yelled.

Henry was confused as well, until...

Wait! He said to himself.

"Bendy! He thinks you're the other one!" Henry yelled, "the other Bendy killed him!"

Bendy knew he was right. Lost ones usually need an influence to provoke them. The other Bendy killing Sammy would be influence enough. After all, Bendy did look highly similar to the other one.

"I will cut that smile right off of your face!" Sammy said, interrupting Bendy's thoughts as he ran to Bendy with an axe in one hand, dagger in the other.

Bendy couldn't think of anything else. He'd have to fight Lawrence until he tired out. He shaped his arm into a blade/claw (it can be whichever you decide) and the fight started. Bendy ducked under a few of the swipes from Sammy's axe and slashed at mostly the arms in an attempt to force him to drop his weapons. Eventually, Bendy made Sammy lose his mask.

"" Sally said running from Bendy and coveting his face with his hands.

Bendy approached Sammy carefully, going not to scare him, even though he tried to kill him a few seconds ago. Bendy gently placed his hands on Sammy's shoulders.

"Sammy-" Bendy tried to say before Sammy grabbed him by the throat.

"" Sammy said to Bendy, "Well I'm going to free you now. Free your head right off your shoulders!"

Bendy grabbed Sammy's arms, forcing him to let go, both his hold on Bendy's neck and the weapons in his hands. He then wrapped his arms around the old songwriter.

"I'm sorry Sammy..." Bendy said to him, keeping a firm hold of him.

Soon enough, he felt Sammy wrap his arms around him as well and shake as a practical well of inky tears poured out of the old songwriter. Bendy pushed away from the hug, but kept a grip on Sammy's shoulders as the poor fella tried to take in a few breaths.

"I... I'm so sorry, my lord," Sammy stuttered.

"Hey, it's okay, I promise," Bendy said, giving him another hug, "and please, just call me Bendy, okay?"

"Yes, my lor... I-I mean Bendy," Sammy said, hugging back.

Bendy looked over Sammy's shoulder to see Tom holding an axe, ready to swing it straight at Sammy's head. Bendy pushed Sammy out of the way very quickly.

"Tom, wait- ack!" Bendy said as Tom accidentally hit Bendy's arm with the axe. Bendy gripped his arm in order to stop the bleeding.

This, however, pissed off the songwriter as he grabbed his axe and swung at Tom. Tom backed up from the attack and both were about to fight each other before Bendy stretched his arms out to grab both of their axes and throw them on the ground.

"Stop! No-one's fighting anybody!" Henry exclaimed, standing beside Bendy, "could we please just get along now?"

Sammy and Tom glared at each other before nodding. Alice ran over, seeing already that whatever fight happened, it was already over.

"I'm glad to see your okay. I'm just glad nothing too bad happened," Alice said.

"Heh, damn right," Bendy replied, as he handed Tom and Sammy back their axes, but not before he pulled them back, "" he boomed with the two nodding in agreement, regardless of how much they wanted to drive their axe into the other's head.

But then the earth beneath them began to rumble.

"Was that him?" Henry asked Alice.

"I don't think so..." Alice replied.

"Oh boy," Sammy muttered, "everyone! Grab a weapon! Now!"

Everybody pulled out a weapon of some sort, including Henry, with the dagger Sammy just handed him, and Bendy as he went into his ink demon form, slammed his arms on the ground, and let out a fierce demon roar as the ink monsters appeared.

Time skip to the end of the fight

"Okay. I think that's all of them," Alice said, "but you never know where they're gonna pop up next. Probably best if we stay close together," she went over to a door slashing it open, "Henry, can you lead the way?"

Henry looked at Bendy before nodding. They came to a hallway with only single boards to act as a floor. Bendy held Henry's hand as the two balanced across the first board, but once they were crossing the second one, it broke, dropping the two into what seemed like an abyss.

"Henry!" Alice called out.

Bendy looked down, seeing the ink puddle, and for a split second, grabbed Henry and held him close and covered his mouth as the two splashed into the ink. Soon enough, the two appeared in a room that was next to it. Henry and Bendy tumbled out and crashed into the wall in front of them. They got up and looked around them, seeing another dispenser machine. The place seemed like a break room of sorts. Bendy walked over to a door to show a little pipe system of sorts and another door, the hallway there being blocked up by ink. Bendy took some ink off his body, told Henry what to do, and sent him over to the dispenser machine.

Bendy opened up the door, the hallway in front of them no longer being drowned in ink. They walked up to a vault that was busted open. Henry and Bendy checked the boxes but the one Bendy was looking for wasn't there.

It's not here. Well, isn't that just fantastic? Bendy said to himself, kicking a box in frustration.

"Looks like whatever was here was taking long ago," Alice said, startling the two. Sammy and Tom were behind her.

"How the hell?" Bendy asked.

"It pays to carry a rope. You should try it," Alice said to them.

Bendy just face palmed himself in a small sense of frustration and anger.

"Look, I know where we've got to go, but it's not gonna be pleasant," Henry stated, "the Ink Demon has something that we need. We're going after him."

"You want to go into his lair? Are you crazy?" She replied, "that's death."

"It's where we've gotta go," Bendy answered back.

"Well, it's probably close by," she said, "probably through that door, but it won't be easy to open," at that, Bendy and Tom did a poker face at each other and nodded, "I'll need three gears, a crowbar..." Bendy and Tom walked up to the door, "and some kind of counterbalance," after she said that, Bendy and Tom busted the door open, "huh. Well that works too... I guess."

Henry let bendy take the lead, even if it was only one direction they were going. They came across a room with some familiar stuff, such as Henry's old desk, a Bendy cutout, a projector, etc. The five of them them entered a hallway with a glass pane, showing another room. Right there and then, the room was covered in ink.

"Quiet. Don't make any noise," Alice said as The Ink Demon walked by them.

Everyone stayed still as they watched the skeletal, inky, smiling freak limping past them. Sammy began to shake again, but Bendy put his arm on his shoulder as a sign of reassurance. Soon after, the ink covering the room washed away and they were good to go. They came across more writing.

Bendy ignored it as he continued to walk. They then came to what seemed like a building of sorts, but Bendy knew what it is.

"Here it is," Bendy said, "The Ink Machine."

"Wow! I've never seen this before," Alice said, "I don't see no way around. Nothing to build a raft with."

"Only way's through," Bendy said.

"We're not like you two," Alice said, "if we go in there... Well, a drop of water in the ocean is rarely seen again."

"So I guess it's all up to us," Henry said, "and I don't even know why I'm here. I don't even know why this is all happening to me."

"You're here for a reason Henry. There's always a reason... Even when you can't understand it," Alice said, "it's time. Set us free."

Henry got ready to walk through, but then he turned around to see Bendy standing there, ink beginning to cover his eyes (well, eye and eye socket, that of which is stitched up). Bendy felt a tap on his shoulder and turned around to see Sammy.

"Bendy, I pray that you come back safely," Sammy said.

Bendy didn't have any smile on his face at all.

"I'm not coming back at all Sammy," Bendy said, loud enough for Henry to hear.

"What?" Henry asked in slight disbelief.

"Dad, I'll..." Bendy tried to think of something to say, but there was no other way around it, "I'll die."

Henry's eyes widened and his heart dropped. He shook his head in disbelief. Bendy's sad expression doubled.

"The other Bendy and I are from the same ink. We share the same fate," Bendy said, "so, if one of us dies, so does the other."

"No..." Henry said, "you don't mean..."

"If the other Bendy dies... I'll die with him," Bendy replied.

"No! No, no, no! I'm not letting you die!" Henry exclaimed.

"Dad, please-"

"There has to be some other way!"

"Dad."

"Something! Anything! There has to be something I can do!"

Bendy caught Henry in an embrace.

"You don't have to do anything," he answered, tears beginning to stream down his cheeks, "just spending time with you was enough. I'm proud to call you my dad and I promise I'll never forget you."

Henry hugged back. There was no sobbing, but tears ran down their cheeks like a river. They separated from the hug and breathed. Bendy looked at Alice, Sammy, and Tom and smiled.

"Goodbye guys," Bendy said.

Henry and Bendy walked through the ink and into the The Ink Machine, even though one of them wouldn't be coming back.
