《Mama Nootmare (A fanfic with the bad sanses)》Chapter 16 - Taken (Part 1)

Horror POV:
I was taking with Dust, Killer, and Cross in my room. We were bored. We started talking about killing and where Nightmare would take us next. I wanted to fight something. Maybe we could spar. Like a training fight.
"Hey Killer?" I asked. Killer looked at me. So did the others. "Wanna spar? Like fight but not hurt each other." I asked.
"Sure! Sound fun!" Killer hopped up an summoned a knife. I summoned a my axe.
We fought against each other with our weapons. We jabbed and swung at each other but didn't actually land any hits. Dust and Cross were watching happily.
"Are you idiots fighting each other?!" Nightmare shouted, entering my room. His expression changed once he realized we weren't hurt. "Why isn't anyone hurt? Am I asleep?"
"We were sparring!" Killer said, hopping up and down. Nightmare looked more confused.
"Play fight, but with weapons. Not actually hitting each other. And fighting like actual fighting?" I tried explaining.
"Oh. Ok. That's okay." Nightmare said. "Anyway it's dinner time." He left.
We followed him down to the table. I felt better now that I had a little 'fight'. We were having chicken for dinner. I finished his before anyone else, as usual. Dust left a bit of chicken on his and slid the plate to me. I smiled at him and ate it. Nightmare never minded us doing this, as it didn't waste any food. After we all finished, excluding Error, because he didn't eat anything but chocolate, Nightmare made us stay at the table.
"Okay. Tomorrow we're going to an au to kill things rather early. We're doing it early because Error is destroying it later. If we kill everyone and tire out the Stars, that'll make it easier for him." Nightmare explained. We all smiled happily. Best case scenario! We get to kill everyone, Error gets an peaceful destruction, and the Stars lose completely this time! "But." We got a bit worried. "Be weary of the Stars. They've been sneaking around more. I caught Ink trying to sneak up on you guys twice last time. I'm worried Blue and Dream might try the same."

"Why were they sneaking up on us?" Cross asked, voicing all of our thoughts.
"I don't think it's to hurt you. At most it's to take you from me." The last sentence was filled with hatred. He really loved us, huh? I smirked a bit at this. "Go rest up. We leave at 7:00 am." And with that, Nightmare got up and left.
I did my own thing for the rest of the night. I mostly got snacks and watched movies on the iPad Nightmare gave me. He gave us each one so we could watch things on our own in our rooms and hopefully not bother him.
~The Next Day~
Nightmare woke us up early like he said. Everyone seemed okay but Cross. Cross had always gotten up late so it made sense. Nightmare was holding the sleepy kid as he told us the traditional rules. I zoned out as he continued. It was boring. Once he finished his speech, we climbed onto his tentacles to head there.
We arrived on the surface. I smiled. Surface aus always meant more people to kill. Nightmare walked us to the nearest town.
"You remember the rules. Kill everyone, meet up once we're done with the town." Nightmare repeated. "Go!" He said and we took off. Well, all except for Cross.
~After a Lot of Fighting~
I was wandering thorough the far part of the last town. I saw Dust a bit farther away. I walked that way instead. I was about to call out to him when I saw someone near him. Was it one of the Stars? They were slinking around behind the buildings. Should I tell Nightmare? But Dust would be left alone. As I was thinking, they struck. It was Ink! He grabbed Dust. I just reacted and threw my axe at them. It hit Ink in the arm, causing him to drop Dust. He ran up and grabbed my hand. I took the lead and he started firing attacks at Ink, who was now chasing us.
"Turn around!" Dust yelled "He teleported!"
I spun us around and began running the other way. I heard Dust start firing attacks again. I assumed Ink was on our tail again. We were getting a good lead on him though. Dust eventually stopped us both.

"What're you doing?" I asked a bit harshly. He didn't reply. 'Oh! He's trying to teleport.' I looked back. Ink was almost here. I was about to say something else when a flash of purple brought us somewhere else.
When I could see again, I saw that Dust was breathing really hard. I helped him stand up and walked him over to a nearby building. I heard a crash right as I put Dust down. I placed Dust behind a dumpster. He pretty much passed out as soon as I let go. I ran back out and saw Nightmare fighting Blue and Dream. He'd just thrown them into each other.
"Horror you need to go. Now!" He yelled. He was about to pick me up with his tentacles when something else did. I saw Ink. Great. "Put. Him. Down." Nightmare growled. Ink's expression didn't change.
"Nah." I started freaking out when he teleported.
We arrived in a room. I saw Killer in the corner, sitting on a yoga ball. Ink grabbed a bracelet off a table.
"Don't let him!" Killer called.
I instinctively smacked Ink's hand. Then I bit his other one that was holding me. He dropped me and I ran to the other side of the room. Ink glared at me. I summoned my axe. Ink walked over towards me. Then he veered off and grabbed Killer, who didn't do anything but shout for some reason.
"Give me the axe and let me put the bracelet on. Or he gets hurt." Ink sounded very monotone. His eye lights had changed to white slits. I shivered. Killer must have been scared because he shut up.
"O-okay." I said quietly. Ink dropped Killer, took my axe, and placed the bracelet on me.
"Okay! Bye-bye!" He said, returning to his normal cheerful tone. I looked to Killer.
"What do these bracelets do?" I asked
"They block magic. Meaning we can't summon our weapons." That explained why Killer hadn't summoned his knives.
"Huh."
Nightmare POV:
I already put Cross back home. Ink took Horror and Killer. And no one knows where Dust is. I glared at the Stars. I felt a twinge of negativity. It had to be Dust. I knew Dream had felt it too. I grabbed him before he could teleport. And then I threw him into Ink and teleported away before Blue had a chance to strike me. Dust was near where we were so I teleported behind a building. I walked around it and saw him passed out. I walked over to him. Or tried to. Blue ran over. I ran up to him but he grabbed Dust. I hit him with tentacle, sending them both flying back. I realized my mistake as Blue smirked and teleported away. Ink and Dream followed.
They took them. They took my kids! I screamed out my frustration. I sat down. How did this happen? Why? I felt tears brimming in my eye socket. I teleported home.
I walked in and kind of broke down. How did I let this happen? How did I not see this coming? Am...Am I a bad parent?
I felt someone tapping my skull as I was breaking down on the floor. I looked up and saw Error.
"Okay Octopus, what happened?" He asked.
He walked us to the living room and I told him. He hugged me and I snuggled into his shoulder. I slowly calmed down. I felt someone else hug me. It was Cross. I was glad he was still here. I hugged him back.
"We'll get them back!" Cross said.
"Yeah. We'll do that." I agreed. I rested my head on Error's shoulder.
"I think he needs rest right now. We'll figure something out together." I heard Error say. I drifted off to a sad slumber shortly after.
~Meanwhile with the other two~
Killer POV:
We are bored. This room has no windows, completely childproof, no weapons, boring toys. Horror was hungry and I needed to stab something. The Stars really aren't nice. They've denied our requests for even spars. They also said we need to be nice. Pfft. No.

The Writer
Frustrated with his limits, the young writer Seven accepts an offer from a supernatural entity, traveling to its world whilst given the chance to live past his regrets. Humans, though, are creatures that don't easily change, and his warped views of reality turn him into an unpredictable ally or foe in the game of death that is to follow. For the sake of translating his new experiences into a written masterpiece, he will spare nothing, not even his own life - so long as the work is complete. *** Romance tag was previously there, but it starts quite late in the story and I've yet to reach that part. I know how it will happen (more precisely, how I want it to happen), but currently, there are just subtle nuances that can only be left to the reader's very expansive imagination, and I wouldn't call that romance but a
