I decided to call Edd telling him me and Tom agreed to go. But instead my phone started ringing. You could never guess who it was..
It's Edd. I answered his call.
"Hello Edd"
"Hello Tord, so are you and Tom coming?"
"Well actually I was about to call you saying yes we are going to New York with you and Matt"
"Yaaaayyy"
"Hey Edd?"
"Yes?"
"What airlines are we going on?"
"Oh we are going on Cola if course!"
"Ok just wanted to make sure"
"Also Tord, we are leaving in 2 days! See ya then!"
Edd ended the call before Tord could say anything.
'
I walked over to Tom who was flicking though tv channels.
"Hey Tom?"
"Yes Tord?"
"Just wanted to say we are leaving in 2 days.."
Tom looked over to me.
"2 DAYS??!!"
"Ya... that's what I said.."
"Why only 2 days?!"
"I don't know! Ask Edd!"
"-sigh- I'm sorry for yelling at you Tord.."
"Its ok"
I gave Tom a smile. He smiled back and continued watching tv. I walked to the bathroom. But on my way there I saw another room. The door was open. I decided to take a look. I walked into the room. It was filled with boxes with writing saying 'survived'
I'm guessing there the things that survived the explosion. I looked over to see a dark oak table with a broken bass on it.
"Susan" I whispered to myself.
I decided to take a look at it- wait no.. take a look at her.
'
"What are you doing in here??"
"Umm well the door was open so I decided to take a look inside. I saw your bass. I was going to fix it but then you came in here and yelled at me!"

"She can't be fixed! I've tried so many time.."
I saw tears start to appear in Toms eyes but he just wiped them away. He sighed.
"I guess you can try fix it..."
Tom left to go to his room. I started to try fix his bass or 'Susan'.
I waked into my room and jumped onto the bed. '' I shrugged the thought off and tried to get more sleep.
"Hey Tom!"
Edd and rushed into my place and straight to my room.
"H.. huh? Oh hi Edd..."
"Turns out we have to leave in a few hours! So start packing!"
And with that, he ran back to his place.
I don't want to go anymore!
I started to panic.
A million bad thoughts about planes went through my head.
I sat up and hugged my knees to my chest.
I put my face in my knees.
Tears started going down my cheeks.
"Tom? Can I come in?"
I looked towards the door.
"Uhhh ya come in..."
I wiped away my tears and Tord came in. He pulled out a checkered suitcase out of my closet.
"So we are leaving earlier then expected..."
I just nodded my head in agreement.
I started to pack my suitcase.
I just ignored it for now. He went back to the other room where Susan was.

A Broken World [Dropped Pending Rewrite]
This work has been dropped- because I am rewriting it. Look forward to the new and improved "A Broken World," now available HERE on Royal Road! Three thousand years ago, Demonic creatures invaded the world. Though their power seemed irresitable, a band of heroes managed to steal the knowledge of summoning rituals and worlds from them and created, "The Millenial Summoning." A powerful magic that would bring forth a being from another world with the power to change the world forever. The first being summoned became known as "The Speaker," and he brought the power of the Gods with him. Teaching prayers and invocations that blessed humanities legions and began to push back the demons, founding of the "The Church of the Spoken Word" rose to power and a stalemate was reached. Two thousand years ago, that stalemate was broken by the second casting of "The Millenial Summoning," and the arrival of "The First Sorceress," who taught humanity the basics of magic and enchanting. With the power of the Sorceress, the mages, and the priests the tide turned and the Demonic hordes began to be shoved back, signaling hopes of a golden age for mankind. One thousand years ago, the hopes of final victory and a new dawn for mankind were dashed by traitors who slew the participants of the ritual and took their places, using the ritual to bring forth a godlike being from the demons home world, "The Demon King," for no human knew his name, erased millenia of growth reducing humanity to barely a fragment of its former glory. Now the ritual is being cast again, and a new being is being summoned... In our world, after nearly two decades of studious work, Luke Jaeger is making his dream come true. Working and going to school full time, sacrificing his health and social life in his youth, Lucas obtained Doctorates in genetics and virology, as well as associate degrees in business and accounting. The modern world is not easy, and despite it nearly driving him mad from stress, this was the bare minimum he needed to be approved for a business loan to start a company focusing on commercial genetic therapy. Despite the challange of getting his business running, Lucas feels that his work has finally paid off. Lucas's car never left the banks lot, nor was Lucas ever seen again in our world.
8 95Aegis: Welcome to the End of the Universe
[participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] Bernard's life wasn't particularly great. Living on the razor's edge of poverty isn't a fun place to be. Being forced to compete for jobs that you are overqualified for, against others that are often just as overqualified, was almost humiliating. There had been plenty of times where he wished his luck was better, that he could stumble onto an opportunity that would allow him to finally succeed in life. Change and opportunity is rarely easy though, particularly if the change in question is a drastic alteration to the world as he knew it. When his chance finally arrived he learned just how true that old adage could be. Be careful what you wish for. Also, monkeys are evil.

Diary Number 999, year I-don't-care, location home. Parenting. Of all I've found clear answers except for this most mundane topic. And not for the lack of trying. My library, so humongous my good friends told me one after the other there is no book it doesn't contain helped little. There are crumbling tomes of ancient magic, vocabularies depicting the evolution of the magical language itself, grimoires and holy bibles of cults long past, rows and rows filled with scrolls bearing the efforts of my magical research, contracts, diaries, letters and more. But parenting? There was none. Yet a struggle nearly every member of the Races is not foreign to. I...must have lived under a rock. Across aeons no less. What a humbling revelation.
