《My mother married a Capo》Chapter 3

Alison walked behind her mother on the long aisle of the majestic church. Alison's stomach flip-flopped from nervousness.

She looked at the altar in front and saw seven men standing there, one of them was the father of the church, but the other six ...

She never thought it was possible but they were even more scarier than Gino.

The first one in the row was a middle-aged man with slicked-back dark grayish hair. His intense grey-blue eyes were eagerly fixed on Eva, but other than that the other sharp features of his face were stone-cold. His fitted body was covered with a black suit and tie and crisp white shirt just like the other five beside him whose eyes were fixed on her.

The next one was the younger version of the man except his eyes were void of any emotion. He looked to be in his mid-twenties. His 6'4 feet tall muscular body made him look even more intimidating. His sharp jawline was covered with stubble had made him look even more handsome.

The next one was as tall as him, but a little, just a little bit less muscular. He looked to be in his early twenties. He had light brown hair and light stubble had covered his sharp jawline to add more matureness to his handsome face as well. His dark brown eyes held a warm and friendly gleam in them. He smiled warmly when he caught Alison staring.

Alison blushed and looked at the next two who looked exactly like each other, certainly twins. They were both tall, around 6'3, and their lean muscular bodies looked buff under their fitted suits. Their dark hair was slicked back and their faces were shaved. Alison guessed their upper bodies should have been covered with tattoos as dark shapes of tattoos were running up to their necks and down on their hands from under their shirts.

Alison shivered when her eyes met their dark eyes. One was so cold and indifferent and the other was so angry that Alison thought he could kill her any second just with his heated galre. The indifferent one had his hands in his pockets while the other was clenching and unclenching his fists.

Alison gulped and looked at the last one. Her heart warmed up a bit to see at least a smirk on his face. His tousled dark hair was slightly covering his forehead and his grey-blue eyes looked happy and carefree. He looked to be a teenager at Alison's age although he was almost 5'9 feet and had a well-built body as well. He winked at Alison who returned a faint smile.

Alison walked up to the altar with her mother and stood behind her. "You look so beautiful, Eva." said Albert as he took Eva's right hand and kissed the back of it. His deep voice although warm while talking with her mother sent shivers down Alison's spine. He was complimenting her mother but still, there was a commanding tone in his voice.

"Thank you, Albert." answered Eva quietly. Alison could almost see the heat radiating off her mother's face. She cringed at the lovey-dovey couple in front of her and saw the twins and the younger boy did the same on the other side. The two older ones were one happy and the other with the same expressionless face.

"Now that the bride's here, we shall begin," said the father, and the happy couple stood closer and nodded.

"We are all gathered here today to witness and celebrate the union of Albert King and Evangeline Harris in marriage." said the father and then turned to her mother. " Will you Evangeline Harris, take Albert King as your lawfully wedded husband to have and to hold from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, until death do you part?"

"I do." said Eva.

The father then turned to Albert and said the exact words. "And will you Albert King, take Evangeline Harris as your lawfully wedded wife to have and to hold from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, until death do you part?"

"I do." answered Albert eagerly.

"Please, bring the rings." said the father, and Alison looked to her right to see the cutest two identical boys around the age of 8 walking toward the altar. Both were dressing like the other six men and their light brown hair was slicked back neatly. They both had proud grins on their faces. One of them had a crimson velvet cushion on his hand with two golden rings on top of it and the other was playfully scattering rose petals around from a basket in his hand.

Alison would have awed loudly if the other scary men were not standing in front of her. Her heart melted at the sight of the little guys.

They walked up to the altar and the one with the cushion held it up in front of the couple proudly. The other smirked and turned the basket of petals on his twin's head and caused all the petals to fall on his head.

Alison giggled along with some others. "You are an idiot, Jordan." growled the little boy holding the cushion. Jordan just laughed at his twin's pissed face while holding his stomach.

Just as the first one was going to punch Jordan, Albert hold his arm. "That's enough, boys." he said sternly while Jordan snickered and his twin glared at him.

Eva bent down and kissed the grumpy face of the boy. "you did great, James. Thank you." she said kindly and make James smile proudly.

Albert took a golden ring with a diamond on top of it and slid it in Eva's ring finger. Eva did the same and slid a golden band on his ring finger.

"Now you may kiss the bride," said the father and soon, Albert pulled Eva in a short but passionate kiss.

Alison made a disgusted look and looked away. "Ewww!" she heard the little twins exclaim loudly. At least she was not alone.

"Congratulations, dad, Eva." a very deep voice made Alison look back. it was the oldest looking one.

"Congratulations!" said the one next to him with a big smile.

"Thank you, sons." said Albert and then turned to Alison who cowered a bit back and behind her mother under his intense gaze. "It's good to finally meet you, Alison." he said.

"Thank you, sir. The pleasure is mine." said Alison politely. "And congratulations."

"Congratulations!" cried the little twins before Albert can answer as each hugged one of the couples from their legs.

"Awww, Thank you, dears." said Eva as she kissed both of their heads fondly.

"Now can we go and eat something?" said James or Jordan, Alison was not sure, and looked up at Eva and made the most convincing puppy dog eyes which were irresistible.

"Okay," said Alber. "We will talk more once we are at the restaurant. I and Eva will go in one of the limos with James and Jordan. Alison, you will come with the boys in the other limo. It's a good time you get to know each other a bit." he commanded authoritatively. The older twins didn't look satisfied but didn't dare to say anything.

Alison gulped and nodded. Albert took Eva's hand and walked towards the exit followed by the little twins and then the others. Once outside, two limos were waiting for them, with more SUVs and men in black all around. Alison was slowly wondering why they needed this much security.

Albert, her mother, and the little twins went to the first limo and got in. The others along with Alison walked to the other. The oldest held the door open and gestured for Alison to go in while stopping the others.

Alison whispered a thank you and sat at the farthest corner near the window. The oldest one sat in front of her with the twins beside him while the second oldest and youngest sat next to Alison.

As soon as the door was closed, the car set off to the road, and the oldest one began to speak. "Let's start with the introduction." he said and hold his hand out for Alison to shake. "I'm Mason. The oldest and I'm 26."

Alison took his hand and shook it while forcing a smile. "I'm Alison. I'm 17." she said shyly, suddenly feeling so small in the small space of the car with those buff men who could snap her neck in a second without sweating.

The one who was sitting next to her chuckled. "We all know that, sweetheart." he said kindly as he shook Alison's hand. "I'm Richard. You can call me Rich like others and I'm 22."

The young boy who was sitting next to Rich leaned over him to reach Alison and shook her hand. "Hello, beautiful. I'm Hunter and sadly I'm one year younger than you." he said. His voice was a little bit sad when he said his last sentence, not very satisfied to be younger than her, but he still looked friendly.

Alison smiled warmly at him while shaking his hand. All heads turned towards the last two. "Damien, 18." said the one who looked indifferent. But the other remained silent while looking out of the window.

Mason cleared his throat and the last one rolled his eyes. "Xander, 18." he snapped with a harsh voice while glaring at Alison.

Alison looked away trying to ignore him. She had done nothing wrong to deserve his wrath. She turned to Rich. "What about the other twins? How old are they?" she asked.

"James and Jordan?" laughed Rich. "They are 8."

Alison smiled. "They are cute." she said.

Hunter snickered. "Let them play one of their pranks on you, then you won't call them cute anymore." he said.

Mason's phone vibrated and he brought his lasted iPhone out of his pocket. Alison watched him as his face turned from cold to furious in a few seconds as his eyes which had turned a few shades darker skimmed the screen of his phone. His eyes turned from two deep emotionless wells to two hell holes of fury in a second. The temperature in the car dropped a few degrees. Never go on his bad side, thought Alison.

"Mase?" asked Rich beside Alison.

"Unfortunately, we can't join the others for launch, Rich." said Mase with a collected voice and gave Rich a knowing look. "Something has come up in the office."

Rich nodded. The soft features of his face turned icy cold, showing Alison that he could be just like Mason if he wanted.

"Can we come as well?" asked Xander eagerly, obviously wanting to skip the lunch.

"No," said Mason sternly while typing furiously on his phone. "You will join the lunch."

Xander huffed in annoyance and looked outside again with folded hands.

Soon they pulled over in front of a beautiful and fancy restaurant. They all get out of the car. Mason walked quickly to his father and whispered something in his ear. Albert became rigid a bit and his fists curled into balls, but he nodded and Mason and Rich soon get in one of the SUVs and left.

Eva put her hand on Albert's arm and looked at him worried, but he looked down at her reassuringly and smiled a bit. "Alright everyone, let's go in." he said as he took Eva's hand and walked confidently inside of the restaurant.

As they walked in, the distressed manager who was shaking a bit rushed to them. "Mr. King." he said as he smiled and tried to look professional. "Please follow me. Your private room is ready."

Albert nodded and followed the manager. Everyone was staring at the group as they walked to the room. The little twins were walking in front carefree. Behind them was walking the new couple hand in hand and then was Alison who was walking with Hunter by her side and the older twins were walking at last, so Alison couldn't see the way they were glaring daggers at every male who dared to look at her more than a second.

They reached a double doors and the manager opened it for them. Alison's eyebrows shot up as they entered. The room was bright from the daylight that was coming through the window that had covered the entire wall in front of them, giving them a magnificent view of New York City. A long table was in the middle, already set with plates and cutleries. Two magnificent chandeliers were hanging from the high roof and beautiful pots of flowers and plants were around the room.

Hunter pulled out a chair for Alison. "Please have a seat, my lady." he said playfully. Alison curtseyed a bit mockingly. "Why thank you, dear gentleman." she said and sat down, already liking Hunter.

Hunter smirked and sat down next to Xander. Albert had sat at the head of the table. On his right sat Eva and beside her sat James and Jordan and then Alison. Damien sat on Albert's left with Xander and Hunter next.

They ate lunch in peace. Everyone was silently eating except Albert and Eva who were talking quietly completely drowned in their own world. Alison didn't have too much appetite so she mainly played with the small amount of food she had put on her plate.

"Is this all you eat?" Jordan's voice brought her out of her thoughts. She looked down and saw him watching her curiously with his head tilting to a side while munching his food. He had a bit of sauce on his cheek. Alison chuckled and picked her handkerchief and cleaned his cheek. "I'm just not too hungry." she answered kindly and then smiled at him which he returned with a big one.

Someone cleared his throat and Alison looked up and her gaze met Albert's and she shivered a bit. "So Alison," he said as he placed down his glass of wine. "We didn't have time to talk properly. Now I think is a good time. Welcome to the family."
