《Changed》Chapter 4

Once we arrived at the entrance of UA, I started to get a bit nervous. It's been a long time since I've been here, what if they don't like me anymore?

"Hey," Jake looked at me. "You're going to be fine. They knew you were leaving and they're your friends so they couldn't possibly stay mad at you for long."

"Thanks, Jake." I stood on my tippy toes and hugged him full-force.

"Anytime, Zu." I took a deep breath to calm my nerves and started through the entrance gate. I did a final check of my things. Suitcase, check. David, check. Thomas, check. Phone, check. Wings, gone. Horns, gone. Tail, gone. Okay, I think I'm ready.

"Ah! Welcome back, Midoryia!" Principle Nezu greeted me. He was standing at the front of UA with Mr. Aizawa.

"Hello, again, Principle Nezu," I bowed. "These are my friends. That's Jake, David, Haley, Daisy, and Thomas." I pointed to the corresponding person.

"It's a pleasure to meet you," He held out his hand for Jake to shake. "What are your quirks?"

"So, yeah. Those are our quirks." We just finished explaining our quirks to Principal Nezu and Mr. Aizawa.

"Those are some powerful quirks..." Nezu commented.

"Thank you." Haley thanked him.

"So," Mr. Aizawa looked at us. "You guys are going to be staying in the UA dorms, correct?"

"Yes," I answered. "Where are our dorms going to be, or if we are going to be in the same dorms and another class?" Oh geez, I hate being formal. But, what can I do about it? They still don't know that I've changed. Should I put on an innocent cinnamon roll act or be myself? I quietly thought to myself.

"Your dorms are going to be with class 3-A, partly because Midoryia was already in class 1-A when he left and because your quirks are powerful and I would like to help you control them even more-"

"Not to be rude," Thomas interjected. "But, what can you teach us? We already have a very good grip on our quirks."

"It's fine, but we might have different teaching methods than American hero schools, so you could get a different experience here." He does make a valid point, UA's ways of teaching were different from America's...

"Okay," Thomas seemed to find it reasonable.

"So, when are we going to settle into our new dorms?" Daisy asked.

"Ah, yes," Nezu led into the school. "We can go to your new dorms once we are finished the tour. Now, let's begin. Shall we?"

"And finally, these are the Class 3-A dorms." Nezu walked into a building that was disconnected from the main UA building. Inside we went to the third floor and when we exited we saw a large living room with a few couches and a TV and tables to the left. To the right was a kitchen and dining area, the kitchen was large, full with an island with multiple stoves and ovens. The dining area just had a large dining table with chairs surrounding it. Directly, in front of us were two hallways.

"This is the living area and kitchen and well as where you are to eat your meals. To the left," He pointed to the two hallways. "Are the girl dorms and to the right are the boy dorms. You would usually be separated by gender, as you can tell, but there were more boys and fewer girls than expected. So, all of the boy dorms are full, and there are quite a few open dorms in the girl's hallway."

"So, are we all going to be in the girl hallway?" I asked.

"Yes," Nezu sheepishly rubbed the back of his...neck? "If you don't mind, of course."

"No, it's fine. I do, however, have a question."

"Yes, Midoryia?"

"Well, why are treating us this way?"

"What do you mean?" Nezu inquired.

"You're talking to us like we're going to destroy your life if we don't like the school," I said.

"Oh, well. Let's just say you guys have a reputation among the heroes. Oh, I'm sorry. But, I have to go to a meeting. Mr. Aizawa will get you guys settled in," Nezu tried to explain before he left.

"A reputation?" David asked.

"Oh," It dawned on me.

"He's, it is a he, right?" I heard Haley mumble the last part and I stifled a laugh. "Anyways, he's talking about what we are doing in America." David still looked confused.

"Are you serious?" Jake exclaimed.

"What?"

"Are you really that fucking stupid?"

"I have, literally, no idea what you're talking about," David said, bewildered. I facepalmed.

"I am surrounded by idiots..." I mumbled.

"Hey!" Daisy and Thomas protested.

"Okay, first off," I turned to face them. "Y'all already know that David is a dimwit," I could hear faint protests as Haley just rolled her eyes and patted him on the back. "And I can understand Daisy. But, you, Thomas? Really?"

"Hey!" He pouted. "I'm not that stupid."

"Oh really?" I laughed. "What about that one time you tried to jump out of a three-story window?" He flushed.

"Okay, that. Doesn't count."

"Why?" I smirked. "Or maybe that one time in the water park? Remember? You got us all banned from there! It was the best water park that was near us!"

"Fine...But I'm still not that dumb." He pointed his finger at me. "And what about Jake?"

"Hey! Don't drag me into your problems."

"You didn't seem to have an issue with it at the water park."

"Oh that's right," I looked at Jake. "You helped Thomas here, at the water park, burn down TWO FUCKING STORES! And, have the nerve to blame US AS WELL!" I yelled.

"Hey...Zu...We can talk this out, right?" He nervously edged away from me.

"Come along, problem children, you're giving me a migraine." Mr. Aizawa motioned for us to follow him before I could kill Jake. It looked like he tried to ignore what I just said about Thomas, though he looked at him and softly scoffed.

"We're not finished, Jake," I whispered to Jake as we started walking. "You know what? Instead of anything else. You get no cuddles or kisses for a week." He paled.

"No!" He quietly begged. "Please! Anything but that!" I smirked. I knew how much he liked cuddling. Whether it be at night, in the morning, or just because he felt like it. That's something Todoroki never did. My face must've shown what I was thinking because I felt Jake's arms wrap themselves around my waist.

"Hey, you don't need him anymore. You got us. You've got me." He softly kissed my lips.

"Hey, didn't I say no kisses?"

"Aww..." He nuzzled his head in my green hair. "Please Zu?" His talking was muffled but I could still make out what he was saying.

"..." I do like cuddles, too... I barely paid attention to what Mr. Aizawa was saying. I knew the layout enough, I stayed here for about a month before I moved. "Fine..."

"Yay!" I playfully slapped his arm, which is kind of hard when, said person, is hugging you.

"You're such a child."

"But I'm a cute child!" He smiled, lifting his head from my hair. I rolled my eyes. He's not wrong.

"You will share your dorm with one other person. You can choose. I don't care. Class will end in two hours. Get settled in, I guess..." Mr. Aizawa grumbled then left us in the living room.

"Wow," David spoke. "Such a ray of sunshine." I laughed.

"Let's just pick our dorms," I said. "I call dibs on the one that's furthest away!"

"No fair!" Thomas shouted. "I want that one!"

"Ha! Sucks!" I ran to the dorms. Only to be tackled by Thomas.

"Hey! Don't tackle my boyfriend!" Jake pulled Thomas off with his enhanced strength, accidentally shoving him into the wall, next to the TV.

"Whoops, sorry." Thomas summoned a wooden bat and swung, hitting Jake in the face. A nasty bruise started forming. His skin split a bit causing a trail of blood to dribble down his face. He reached up to his cheek and wiped the blood.

"Whoops, sorry." He mimicked. Did I forget to mention he's a sore loser? If you're wondering why we're still friends after attacking each other. Well, we do this at least two times a week. So, we're used to it, and we don't do anything that could damage the other person. It's just friendly banter. Plus, Haley just heals us afterward. So, no maiming. Mostly.

"Oh, it's on!" Jake growled. He extended his claws so they were visible and attacked. They were kicking, punching, and scratching.

"Geez, it's just a dorm. Boys..." David sighed. Thomas and Jake's heads snapped towards him. They looked at each other and smiled evilly.

"You asked for this." I stepped aside so they could get a clear shot at David.

"Bring it on." David started calling the shadows. He made them encase him and Thomas and Jake.

"God, they're ruining the couches," Daisy complained. I looked at the couch and there were claw marks on the cushions and stuffing was flowing out of them. You could also make out a few small bloodstains.

"What do you guys want?" Haley asked, walking into the kitchen ignoring the grunting and sound of blows landing in the dome of darkness in the middle of the living room.

"Do they have Coke?" I questioned.

"I think so."

"Guys!" Daisy called at the large half-sphere of shadows. "Guys! Guys!! GUYS!!" Still getting no response she grumbled and walked into the dome. "You asked for this you dipshits." The sound of even more fighting rang through the otherwise calm living space.

"It's been five minutes," I pointed out. "Should we stop them?"

"Sure, I don't want to be too drained when I heal their dumbasses." I rolled my eyes, knowing her hopes were probably in vain. I activated OFA to 30% and stomped the ground, causing it to shake. The sound of bodies hitting the floor was prominent in the dome.

We all agreed that if we were fighting, each person had a way to signal for them to stop since there's usually at least one person who's not involved. All of us fighting can get pretty hectic so we don't do it unless we're training or in a desolate area.

My signal was stomping on the ground hard enough for everyone to fall. Haley's signal was a beam of light at the people fighting, David's was shadows constraining each of us, Thomas's was a gunshot, Jake's was a howl, and Daisy's signal was a soundwave loud enough that it could stun us.

The dome slowly disappeared, revealing Thomas, David, Jake, and Daisy in all their glory. Thomas had a black eye, a busted lip, and a few scratches, that were bleeding, some deep some shallow. David only had a few bruises and a particularly large and nasty one on his leg, and a few scratches from Jake that were bleeding. Jake had a black eye as well and what looked like a sprained wrist. Daisy looked better, she only had a few bruises, none that bad.

"We've only been here for like ten minutes, and you guys already got into a fight." Haley scolded. She went over and healed them. A bit groggy when she finished.

"So, we don't have anything to do for the next hour or two," I stated. "What do you guys want to do?" David grinned.

"I have a few ideas."
