"T-the Island Princess?" I asked. "How exactly are you going to take her life?"
The White Witch stayed silent. "With that." she said, pointing at the little bottle the bat-man was holding.
I walked closer and inspected the bottle.
The bottle had a green liquid with hints of purple.
"You're gonna ask her to... drink it?" I asked. "What's it going to do?"
"Once she drinks it, she will die a painless death. Her life-force, as well as her power, will be transferred to me." she explained. "That will not only free me, but make she said, with a power-hungry tone.
"What power?" I asked. "I've never seen her doing anything magical."
"She doesn't know it yet." said the Witch. "And she shouldn't know or she will use it against us."
I stayed silent and continued to listen.
"We'll trick her into drinking that bottle." she said looking at the bottle as if it were her last hope.
"If you want to see your parents again, noble one, you must surrender them to me." she said.
"It's your only hope."
We made a camp for us to sleep in and planned that we would look for Oliver the next day.
The whole night, Ed was twitching and whimpering, like he was having a terrible dream.
Everyone was asleep, it was midnight so I was the only one who noticed this and held his hand. It calmed him down and eventually sent himself to sleep.
I took a good look at him.
Acceptance.
That's what I was afraid of all along.
If we hadn't confessed our relationship, we wouldn't have been able to do this out in the open.
I suddenly heard a rustle in the dry leaves. The sound made me immediately sit up to see who it was.

A running shadow then formed from in the forest.
I gently removed my hand from Edmund's, stood up and decided to investigate.
The Shadow brought me deeper and deeper into the woods. The deeper I was the colder and more lifeless everything became.
The Shadow then disappeared but I decided to venture further into the forest.
A cold hand then held my arm.
I quickly locked it in place, twisted the arm, and pinned the person to the ground.
"Oliver?!" I asked surprised. "Where have you been?!"
"mfllfmfmnvzstv!!!" he tried to talk, but only muffled sounds came out of his mouth.
"Oh sorry." I said as I helped him up.
He dusted himself and fixed his hair. "You love pinning me to the ground." he said flirtatiously.
I raised my eyebrow. "You didn't answer my question."
"Oh right." he said. "But first, let's take a little stroll." he offered and let out his hand.
"Uh.. no thanks." I said, pushing his hand away. "How about, you tell me why you're in the woods."
"How about, I tell you why I'm in the woods, if you take a walk with me." He said.
"No, you tell me why you're in the woods and then I take a walk with you."
"No, you-"
"Oliver."
"It's such a waste of moonlight!" he exclaimed. "We're just going to take a walk while talking, that makes everything less awkward."
I thought for a minute. It was just a harmless walk. Though of course, I was still careful.
"Fine. But no funny business, Oliver." I said.
"No madam." he said raising his right hand.
We started walking.
"So... why are you in the forest?" I asked. "We're all looking for you."

"Me? Why?" he asked.
"Because maybe you know what happened before we arrived to the Mainland." I said, looking at him.
"I do actually." he said. "I smelled something that made me fall asleep."
"Really? What was it like?" I asked.
He looked at me, "Something like this." he quickly put some sort of cloth on my nose. That completely caught me off guard.
And I slowly fell asleep...
I rolled on Y/N side to give her a hug. I had to roll for about 2-3 times before I hit someone.
"Ouch!" said a voice. It wasn't Y/N. "Get off Ed!" said Peter as he shoved me back to my side.
"Hey! How was I supposed to know you were there!" I told him as a gave him a shove back.
Weird. I was so sure Y/N slept beside me.
I finally sat up.
Where is Y/N?
"Peter." I called out. "Peter!"
"Shut up. You already woke me up, let me sleep." he said, and turned the other way.
I rolled my eyes, removed my shoe and threw it at him.
"Ow- Ed!" he exclaimed and sat up.
"What do you want?!"
"Y/N's missing." I said worriedly.
He looked to where Y/N was supposed to be sleeping.
"Maybe she just went for a walk." he suggested. "You know how she's like."
"We have to look for her." I said sternly and stood up. "Guys wake up!"
Everyone sat up, confused as to what was happening. Their eyes were still half closed.
"Y/N is missing!" I announced.
That was enough to get everyone up and on their feet.
Worried heads looked around, but found no trace of Y/N.
"We need to split up." I suggested.
"No." said Caspian. "We have to stay together. It won't be safe if we separated."
Well okay.
We all went in groups of five. It slowly became colder and colder.
Caspian, Peter, Lucy, Susan and I went into the forest.
"Y/N?!" We called out. "Y/N!" we called out again.
Fifteen minutes of restless search and no sign of her.
We then heard a rustle in the leaves.
"Stay together." ordered Peter.
We were together but our backs were turned away from each other.
We heard Lucy scream.
Quickly, we faced the direction of the scream.
We heard Susan scream and that made us turn our heads again.
"Lucy! Susan!" we called out.
We heard Peter scream.
It was only Caspian and I.
We both stood together. Side by side.
But in the blink of an eye, I was alone.
Caspian's scream filled the air.
My senses sharpened, I had to be more careful.
I quickly ran deeper into the forest when I bumped into someone.
"Hello Ed." said Oliver.
"Oliver?!" I asked.
He put a cloth over my nose and I fell asleep...
Again.
Faint echoes of the screams of different people filled the forest.
"Edmund!...
Edmund!"
