《FNAF: Mike Schmidt》NIGHT 2

“Ughhhh. I really hope yesterday was a dream.” I uttered getting out of bed, looking at the clock. “Dang, I slept basically all day, it's already 9:30 at night. I gotta get to work soon.” I dragged myself to the other side of my apartment to make myself something to eat before risking my life to get paid less than minimum wage to babysit a bunch of eight foot tall killer teddy bears. So I sat at the counter and ate my toaster waffles while reevaluating my life choices. Then I grabbed the TV remote and watched. Then I went to my car and drove to the pizzeria. This time I went straight to my office because it was already 11:50. I walked into my office and sat down in my chair. Everything was exactly how it was the night before. Then I heard the phone ring again at the strike of 12.

“Uhh, Hello? Hello? Uh, well, if you're hearing this and you made it to day two, uh, congrats! I-I won't talk quite as long this time since Freddy and his friends tend to become more active as the week progresses. Uhh, it might be a good idea to peek at those cameras while I talk just to make sure everyone's in their proper place. You know…”

This man is very helpful.

“Uh... Interestingly enough, Freddy himself doesn't come off stage very often. I heard he becomes a lot more active in the dark though, so, hey, I guess that's one more reason not to run out of power, right? I-I also want to emphasize the importance of using your door lights. There are blind spots in your camera views, and those blind spots happen to be right outside of your doors. So if-if you can’t find something, or someone, on your cameras, be sure to check the door lights. Uh, you might only have a few seconds to react... Uh, not that you would be in any danger, of course. I'm not implying that. Also, check on the curtain in Pirate Cove from time to time. The character in there seems unique in that he becomes more active if the cameras remain off for long periods of time. I guess he doesn't like being watched. I don't know. Anyway, I'm sure you have everything under control! Uh, talk to you soon.”

As soon as the call ended, I turned on the cameras to Pirate Cove and there was Foxy peeking through the curtains. Staring directly into the camera. I jumped out of my chair. Then I quickly checked on the stage. Both Bonnie and Chica are gone. I check the door lights. Nothing. I stand up from my desk and peek out the left door, Bonnie was running towards me. I jammed the door button and it closed just in time as Bonnie runs straight into the door. I heard the banging on the door and then laughing as the clanking metal footsteps faded into silence. I could hear Chica groaning. Then I shut the door quickly and the groaning stopped. After about three minutes I opened both the doors and checked the cameras, Chica was back on stage but Bonnie was still close. Then I checked the door lights. The left light wouldnt turn on. I tried closing the door, didn't work either. I hid under my desk when I heard the footsteps. I could see through a small hole. Bonnie was in the office. What took a few minutes felt like a few hours. Then I heard the footsteps fading into the distance, checked the cameras, then looked at the clock. 6 AM. Finally. I grabbed my belongings and left as fast as I could. When I got home I threw my stuff down and picked up my phone. I then called my boss.

“.... …. …. Uhhhh hello, who is this?”

“It’s Mike”

“Oh hey Mike hows the job, listen I’m-”

“I ALMOST DIED TONIGHT!”

“Mike, I’m sorry, we couldn’t keep anyone for this long, we needed a night guard. If I told you, you wouldn't have taken the job. The only other guard thats worked here longer than you have is ummm...ummm, I can't remember his name but he has been leaving you phone messages.”

“That man saved my life, if I hadn’t heard those messages I would be dead.”

“That is why we have those messages recorded. So that new guards know what's happening.”

“Do you not know how it really is?”

“Look, Mike, I know you're bothered by all of what's going on. How about we strike a deal. After tonight I’ll move you to day shift.”

“Ok, I’ll take you up on that, only because I need the money.”

“Now that’s the Freddy Fazbear spirit! Well if I move you to the day shift, I’d have to pair you with Vincent...but anyway, I’ll be seeing you…”
