《FNAF: Mike Schmidt》Prologue

I remember it like it was yesterday. One week before my 11th birthday. My mother came up to me and asked me where I wanted to have my party.
“Can we go to Freddy’s?” I asked so filled with joy to go to my favorite place.
“Well, since it is your birthday party, sure.” She replied.
I jumped into the air yelling. “Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!”
All week I sat and waited for my birthday. September 8th, 1989 On my birthday I was so excited to get to see my old friends. Bonnie the Bunny, Chica the Chicken, Foxy the Pirate, and of course Freddy Fazbear himself. When we arrived I was so happy. First we went into the dining room. I saw my friends standing on the stage. Then I saw my best friend waiting for me. I ran up to him and gave him a hug, he kneeled down and said, “Are you ready to see Freddy and his pals?”
“Yeah!” I responded, as the guard stood up and said, “Well here they are, and remember the rules, don't run, dont yell, and do not touch Freddy”
I sat at the table and listened to them sing songs for I dont even know how long. Then after filling myself up with pizza and birthday cake, I went to see my favorite of the four mascots, Foxy the Pirate. I went to Pirate Cove with my foam pirate hat and plastic hook, wearing my favorite purple shirt that had a cartoon picture of Foxy with PIRATE COVE above him written in silver. I was at Pirate cove for three hours before my mother yelled to me, “Mike, it’s time to go, say goodbye to your friends.’ I ran over to the guard and said goodbye, he said, “Hope to see you again soon Mike.” Then he went back into the dining room to share the rules to another birthday party. As my mother and I walked out the door, he waved at me, I waved back.

“Yes sir.”
“You have no criminal history, and you say you were a big fan of this place when you were a kid.”
“The best place on Earth sir.”
“I have no reason not too, so you're hired.”
“Thank you sir you wont regret it-”
“Be here at midnight tomorrow, Your office is in the back, between the two halls...I see here that tomorrow is your birthday.”
“Y-yes it is sir.”
“Happy birthday sport.”
“Thank you sir.”

No Moon
Vree liked his humans. They were kind, clever, and tended to be adorable, in the way that a small, particularly spiny cub was adorable right before it bit you. Of course, small adorable cubs usually couldn’t shapeshift or burst into flame whenever it suited them. Tusca hired a teenager on a whim, and a doctor because they were old friends. Unfortunately, nothing is ever simple when a Red Baron is at the helm.

Sorcerer, level 1
Alcar's life sucks. His days in the poor quarter of the city of Katresburg are long and tough, his parents treat him like garbage, and he doesn’t have a silver moon to his name. But Alcar knows that there is an exciting world of adventure out there. And when he sees a half-orc master sorcerer walking through his neighborhood, he decides to grab his chance. He approaches Master Maluhk to offer his services as an apprentice. And to his shock, the sorcerer agrees to let him come and try his luck along with several other applicants. Soon though, it is all too clear that Alcar, clumsy and lazy as he is, lacks any natural magical talent. It also becomes apparent that Master Maluhk is only interested in ’apprentices’ in order to get someone to do his laundry and tidy up his books. At best, Alcar and the others have signed up to do unpaid labor. Things go from bad to worse when his fellow applicants for the role of apprentice prove to be reckless in the extreme, and as Master Maluhk’s tower catches fire, Alcar soon finds himself being blamed for their misdemeanors. Can Alcar clear his name, gain another chance, and learn enough to show that he has the potential to be a proper sorcerer’s apprentice? [participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge]
