"Gojo, i thought you were better.."
"Is that not enough..?"
Out of annoyance, you click the roof of your tongue. You held your phone up to your ear as you take another glance at the building in front of you.
A warehouse that, from a sorcerers perspective, reeked of cursed energy. You assumed there was more than one of the same curse inside.
You look around once again, seeing no human in sight. Good—you didn't have to deal with nobodies.
You look up the dark sky, seeing a veil whicu you also placed.
"I thought this mission of yours would take days?" you ask, "I can finish whatever's inside there in seconds.." you mutter, not minding how arrogant you sounded. As Gojo knows, you aren't all talk since you definitely have something to prove.
You unzip the bag you had brought, double checking your items to see if you had forgotten anything.
"Now, now." Gojo says, walking through the halls of the school, a hand in his pockets. He was about to leave the campus.
"Don't get too confident with me." he grins.
"Anyways, there's three of those buildings in Kyoto being occupied by the same curse. Weird, right? You'll get help from Utahime's students so unless you feel like helping them, feel free to just deal with one warehouse." Gojo continues, "And why don't you spend a day there to relax? You know.. Visit some relatives?"
You scoff.
"No way. I have a lot to do back at tokyo. Thanks for the info though." you say.
"Sure~" he says playfully, "I have a surprise for you. I think you'll like this one!"
"Aren't i supposed to be bringing souvenirs..? Oh well, i'll be going. See you in a few days i guess.."

As you hang up, Gojo goes back to using his phone, now dialing another number. He was now outside of the school, waiting for someone that was supposed to chauffeur him around.
"Now that's done.. I wonder how they'll welcome Okkotsu Yuta.."
On the other hand..
"Glad to be back." you whisper to yourself, a part of you happy to be back at Kyoto—the place where you grew up—despite the horrible memories that came with it. Wanting to get the job done and move on, you pull out a pair of drumsticks from the bag you have bought.
"Taiko."
You say as a single medium sized drum appears from beside you, floating and following your every move.
"Finish this and go home.." you say to yourself, now approaching the warehouse with the taiko still floating closely.
You place a hand on the metal doors, creaking as you push them open. You frown as you see the inside; dark, boxes scattered everywhere, and a few scraps of metal and wood. You wonder what this warehouse was storing to be this dirty already.
"Fucking hell. Glad i'm not in charge of cleaning this shit hole.." you kick a box in front of you, "But.. That's none of my concern."
Eyes sharp, you look to your right, immediately catching sight of a mangled figure about to approach you with it's claws. The multiple eyes on it's body widen,
"..."
You see blue cursed energy coursing in it's body. Right at the heart is where you aim, or in other words, the area with the mist cursed energy.
Suddenly, the curse began to run to you at full speed. Not flinching while it gets closer, you bring one of your drumsticks down to your taiko as the sound of a drum echoes inside the building.

Electricity begins to spread from the curses heart and to it's entire body. You watch it drop to the ground with a loud cry, it's voice sounding wobbly and distorted for you.
"I assume there's more of you?" you ask, not expecting an answer as you prepare to hit your taiko once again.
Just as you predicted, you feel an overwhelming amount of cursed energy coming from behind. This made you quickly dispose of the curse that was already half dead before turning around.
"Oh wow.." you mused, expression still calm, "And sensei calls this a grade one? I feel insulted." you huff, now face to face with eight more of the same curses.
'They multiply'. You thought, 'Better find the mama curse before i'm surrounded again..'
The curses began to scatter around you, different parts of their bodies highlighted with blue cured energy. Of course, this was only visible to you.
'Hm?'
You hum, brows furrowing out of confusion as you look around you. As expected, the curses didn't stand a chance againts your technique and it hasn't been a minute since you started playing on your taiko.
Weak. All eight of them were weak. Deciding not to linger around their bodies that were now starting to fade away, you walked further into the warehouse, mindful of where you were stepping.
You hear a loud crash. Chills run down your spine—did you not kill them all?
Now alert as the, hopefully, last curse was nowehere to be seen, you tighten your grip on one of your drumsticks.
"Come out, will you? I'm getting sick of this place." you call out, voice loud.
As if it listened to your request, a grotesque curse reveals itself from behind a stack of boxes and pieces of metal. It seems to be made out of goo and slime from what you're hearing. You turn your head towards it, grimacing as you see it was twice your size and the energy in its body is stronger than the curses you defeated earlier.
You came to a conclusion that this curse has the ability to create seperate curses from it's body. Your assumptions were right. There's more of the same curse inside.
Clicking the roof of your tongue, you prepared to fight.
"Oh you've got to be kidding me.."
"I wonder when Y/N's coming back."
Maki spins her spear around, opting to listening to Panda and Inumaki's conversation as the two sat on the grass, watching maki use her weapon.
"Do you think they're cute, Toge?" Panda would ask, receiving a glare from Maki as a warning. If the two of them made anything obvious and Y/N notices, they were definitely going to receive more than just a shock.
A whole electric chair!
"Shake." Inumaki says with a nod, wanting to say more but couldn't. He thinks they're also cool, along with their interesting technique.
"Strong?" Panda then ask next.
"Mhm." Inumaki hums, staring up the sky. He feels wind on his face, now distracted by the clouds.
Witht that, the remaining first years now decided to finish up training quickly so they can rest properly. Their day went on without any troubles, not knowing what was about to happen a few days from now.
Let's just hope Gojo doesn't fuck up his mission.. Because once he does, someone might lose their life.

Ode to Fallen Angels
Jericho, the land of humanity, squirms in pain. Magic has been forbidden for so long in this so called "Age of Silence", that all Arcane knowledge has been presumed lost and irrecoverable, and the echoes of God's Will grow fainter with every passing year. The sight of Demihuman caravans is less frequent every day, as the likes of orcs and elves have learned to no longer beg for help from those who despise them. Clearly, they can expect more from the voracious wild lands than from humankind. Many have succumbed to despair, some driven mad by their fruitless efforts to bring back a Golden Age that they only ever read about in books. And in the middle of it all, in an old chapel lost in the Eastern lands, young Gabrielle lives in complete ignorance. She is another orphan living under the mercy of the Church of the Saints; one bearing the mark of evil in her red hair, the telltale sign of a Witch. In an Age of the Silent, the Prejudiced, and the Hateful, she clings to a single hope: that one day, be it in life or maybe after it all ends, she may find herself forgiven of her sin. The sin of being born.
