《Whodunnit? Murder On Mystery Mountain》10 Hot Potato

Jaclyn, Sherman, Phillip, and Audrey followed Lana to a building not far from the top of camp. It looked like a nightmarish shed. In reality, it was the camp's freezer and in this case, the morgue. The whole place looked abandoned and it had a horrible air to it that they all felt. Lana tried not to glance at the body as they all entered the building.
However, the others had to look at the body. Trinity had been a happy woman for the short time that they knew her. It shocked the people in the room that it had been her as the first to be chosen to die. Phillip walked to the body first, not afraid of what he would see, but curious.
Trinity was burnt everywhere, her hands and legs were steaming. "We probably shouldn't touch her." Sherman piped up. "She's hot I'm sure." Phillip nodded at this and they all put on some protective gloves. Audrey stepped up next to Phillip. "So we have to find out how she died, by looking at her body." She said the obvious and touched Trinity's chest.
Audrey screamed. Instead of her hand stopping at Trinity's ribs, her hand sunk into the skin. "She has no ribs!" She made a face. Jaclyn and Sherman moved to look at the place where Audrey had touched. "You're right. The killer must have taken them. What the actual hell?" Sherman gritted his teeth. "When I get my hands on that piece of fucking shit, I'm gonna-." He was interrupted. "Oh my god!"
Jaclyn had turned over the body and had found a discovery. "Look!" They all peered down at Trinitys seared back. There, in the center was a medium sized hole, dried blood caked around the edges. Phillip stepped back. "That's so gross." Sherman stole at glance at the former model. He even looked cute when he was scared. Audrey noticed this too. Jaclyn watched the three of them out of the corner of her eye.

She didn't get a chance to say anything in protest, because the door of the morgue suddenly swung open and Lana stepped through. "Time is up." She said holding a bell, she rung it. Lana motioned for them to step pass her and head back to the top of camp. When she was sure they were gone, Lana walked into the room; the morgue.
Lana planned to find clues and figure out who this twisted killer was. The first step was to solve the crime along the other staff members. Then to find the killer and drive a knife through their back. It would feel absolutely glorious to watch the killer fall before they could escape or finish their evil plan. Lana gathered all of the clues she could from Trinity's body and walked out into the blaring sun.

Path of Boundless Adventure
When Mana flooded back to Earth after billions of years, most felt lost in the new world. Some managed to adapt. For Michael, he felt like he'd finally found his path. Follow him as he fights monsters, explores new lands and most of all, seeks adventure. This is my first novel, never written anything before, so please be kind and patient with me, I'm doing my best. A more light-hearted post-apocalyptic novel with large amounts of game elements. MC has a unique advantage but is not massively overpowered and there's more of a focus on exploring and discovering new things rather than defeating a series of arch-nemesis' or building an empire.
