He couldn't figure out what was happening. He hadn't felt sad, depressed, or alone since he was 7. That was when all the torment began, he would get bullied, beat up by his classmates, and verbally abused my his teachers. When he got home from school, nothing changed-- his dad would drink, his mom wouldn't come home for days, and his brother and sister would completely ignore him. He felt invisible. Eventually he got used to all the pain. His feelings disappeared and he became completely numb, until now.
