《BABY. ☆ wednesday addams》ten

ten:
the annual camp chippewa dance. girls were going crazy, and leaving camp for a few hours to get a dress. baby hadnt bothered yet, she figured she would get a dress tonight with her girlfriends.
currently baby was reading a book on her bed while alisha and dottie were painting their toe nails. like said before, everyone is excited.
"i think i'm going to get a green dress." alisha muttered while she focused on her job, "i think it goes well with my skin." she was right, alisha was a dark skinned beauty and the green would make her look gorgeous.
"you've always looked great in green, alisha." baby said from where she was. alisha looked up to smile brightly at her, even though the girl wasn't looking.
"ugh, guys! i don't know what i'm going to wear!" dottie pouted before baby cheered her up.
"dots, you'd look great in pink. it would make you look like a flawless barbie. duh." baby had to dumb the sentence down a bit for the girl just because dottie can be clueless at times. but dottie loved the compliment nonetheless.
"what about you, baby? what are you going for?" alisha called out as both girls turned to look at the small brunette. she smirked and looked up from her book.
"something eye-catching."
___
the boutique that the camp allowed the girls to go to was easy to say, beautiful. there were beautiful dresses everywhere and bright chandeliers hung from the tall ceilings, giving off a wealthy yet humble appearance. it was beautiful.
obviously, the three girls squealed and raced to look at dresses. maggie decided she would go tomorrow, because she wanted to compete in the canoeing races today.
"alisha, you need to try this on." dottie yelled from across the boutique. baby left where she was to go watch alisha put the dress on.

baby gasped as alisha walked out of the dressing room. "that's the one, oh my lord." alisha looked gorgeous, it was a yellow dress rather than green. but it was tight around the waist with spaghetti strap showcasing her thin waist, and it flowed out into a poofy skirt. the whole dress was silk, so it looked more elegant than it did childish. she looked absolutely stunning.
"sweet mother of mercy," dottie muttered as she looked up. "you look gorgeous, al." alisha smiled at them and decided she would get that dress.
baby kept looking at the racks of dresses, but nothing seemed to catch her eye.
"hey baby! what do you think about this dress on me?" dottie yelled to the petite girl. baby looked up and smiled at her brightly.
"you look beautiful, dots." and baby wasn't lying. she was wearing a loose pink dress that was incredibly short, but somehow managed to make dottie look like a model. "you should wear a white choker with white go-go boots."
"you're so right!"
baby turned, annoyed that she hadn't found her dress yet, when a dress in the very corner caught her eye. it was perfect.
she grabbed it and ran to the dressing room, quickly changing into it before yelling at the girls to see what they thought.
both girls thought it looked.. well it was definitely eye catching.
the dress was very low v-cut, and flowed after the waist. the sides had rectangle cut-outs to make it look like straps around her waist. it was dark red, and silk, so it definitely was regal. but somehow, baby made it look perfect.
"wow baby," alisha muttered and brought her hands up to cover her mouth. "it's perfect."
"buy it. now." dottie said jokingly and baby laughed then nodded her head.

"i think i might."
___
"baby! hey, wait up!" wednesday called out to the girl. she tensed up, but relaxed and told the girls she would be fine, and she would meet them at their cabin.
she turned and gave wednesday a fake smile, "yes?"
"hey, um-" wednesday brought his hand up to tuck her hair behind her ear, it was a nervous habit one could assume. she flinched at him raising his hand, guess she didn't trust him enough. "why did you flinch?" he asked abruptly, furrowing his eyebrows. her eyes turned stone-cold.
"leave it alone." she said before turning away. wednesday reached out to grab her hand, but when she tensed again, he gently let go.
"what happened?" he asked, he wanted to help her. "who hurt you?"
"just let it go, dimwit." she said jokingly trying to ease the situation. "see ya later?"
"yeah, okay." he said in response and watched her walk away.
but it wasn't okay, because he knew she was hurt. and he would do anything to make sure she was healthy again.
____
