"Ask away," I muttered almost silently. I had been dreading this, but I knew it had to be done.
"Yer eyes, they were bleedin'. Do ya have a medical condition I should know 'bout?" He asked, obviously puzzled.
I laughed. "That would be one hell of a medical condition. It happens frequently though..." I said, trailing off at the end. But, I knew I would have to explain it more. "I get them a lot, the visions. My abuela, Adela, called it a blessing with a curse." I stated sadly, ashamed that I am in such a vulnerable state. I am the mate of the God of War and right now I am weak and pathetic.
My self-hatred slams into me full force as I continue to explain the answers to the questions he asked in the forest. "I'm an anomaly. I think you already know that. My foster parents knew it too. They were in a pack, they were wolves and my step-father was the alpha. Of course, they found out about me, what I am and where my bloodline runs. They decided to weave stories as fine as an egyptian rug, no holes or witnesses to to tell the truth. They turned my own kind against me. My kind would have left me alone if it was not for the blood in my vains. If I was normal, the silly stories wouldn't matter. But they do. I am not normal. My blood contains the DNA of the very first werecat. I am the last of the line. I am stronger than the average werecat because of it. But, that is also why I can't restore order and govern my kind. The stories are woven into my reputation. I could take power and govern with fear, but that gains no loyalty. I can't save my kind from the enemy when I can't save myself." I stated with an even voice, keeping my facial expressions stolid.

"Darlin', ya need ta tell me these things without me askin'. Ta ask, I gotta catch on that there's somethin' wrong. If I don't catch on an' yer in trouble, I don't want ya ta get hurt. From now on, ya tell me everythin' that could make an impact. Understand?" He replied sternly. I only nodded, refusing to look into his eyes as I did so. "Look me in the eyes an' answer."
I lifted my light purple eyes to meet his coal black ones when I got the same feeling as before. The red liquid started to rise to my eyes again and I slammed them shut as the physical pain wracked my body. But, this one was different. I felt pain in more than just my eyes. I felt pain throughout my body, but mostly in my chest as the vision started.
I was lying on the ground, eyes wide open and the Major leaning over me. His mouth kept moving and I couldn't quite make out what he was saying. I felt sharp pains in my chest and my heart slowing down. Then, it stopped. My heart stopped.
