"You wouldn't mind if I asked you more about you and your kind, would you?" He asked.

"No, not at all." I replied quietly as I sat on the edge of the bed.

"Why is your animal form not albino?" He asked as his eyebrows scrunched together.

"Our forms represent our level of strength, personality and blood line. They are a part of us. Our human form never affects what the appearance of our cat will be. Only strength, personality and blood line affect the appearance of our cat." I explained.

"What does your form represent?" My mate asks curiously.

"I don't know. The cat you get depends on blood line. The height of your cat form is dependent on your strength and the pattern of markings depend on personality." I honestly reply.

"Do you live in, for lack of a better word, packs?" He asks.

"It depends. The lions usually live in clans but, otherwise, we are usually independent. It is highly rare to find a clan that is a mixture of cats." I answer.

"The rest of my questions can wait until later. They are more about your likes and dislikes. For now, I assume you would like to freshen up." I nodded eagerly as he finished.

"I have a duffle bag out in the edge of the forest. It has clothes and such in it. I'll got get it." I say.

"No. I can find it. Go run yourself a bath. I'll be back soon. If you need anything, anything at all, the family is down stairs. All you would have to do is ask and someone would come up and help you. They don't bite." I laughed as he said that. At least I now know he has a good sense of humor. I closed my eyes as his lips met my forehead and in the next second he was gone.

I slowly rose from my seat and made my way to the door that was cracked open. As I passed through the door, I found it was what I hoped it was. A bathroom. I sat on the edge of the tub while drawing my bath, doing nothing but thinking of Jasper.
