I sat silently as he made me an omelet. I felt like I was intruding on his family. He may be my mate but I wondered if he felt like I was a burden. No. If he felt I was a burden and didn't want me he would have never saved me.

I leaned my short figure forward onto the counter. I just hoped that he wanted me.

I was torn out of my thoughts when I felt cool lips on my cheek and an omelet was placed in front of me. I took a bite of my omelet and moaned, it was like heaven. A really cheesy and bacon topped heaven.

Jasper cleared his throat before he spoke hesitantly. "Can you tell me about your kind?"

I set my fork down and began to tell him about my kind. "We are called werecats. There is not many of us left, wolf packs weeded us out. We shift for the first time at around sixteen years of age. Our cat form depends on our blood line. Jaguar is a rare form, usually you would come from a royal blood line if you were a jaguar."

I paused to take another bite of omelet as he asked another question. "What about you? You look like a mix of several types. You're very beautiful too if I might add."

"I am the only one of my breed. There are none even remotely like me." I responded with a small frown gracing my face. I felt his cold hand brush against my face and I smiled at him to assure him I was okay.

"I guess I'm more different than I thought. We don't have mates unless we are the mate to a werewolf. There has never been a werecat mated to a vampire, until now."

I felt his eyes bore into the side of my face. "Are you okay with it. Being a vampires mate?" He asked.

I turned so my whole body faced him. "I wouldn't have it any other way." I responded without hesitation.

He smiled and brushed my white hair out of my face. "Do you want to take this upstairs? You can get comfortable in bed and we can continue."

I watched quietly as he put my plate in the sink and walked back to me to hold out his hand to lead us up the stairs and back into his room.
