Every day rama sensei made me run around the forest and every day the laps got longer and longer.
It was around 4 days since I started ramas training and I had started getting used to the running to me it was now pretty easy.
It didn't matter that I had to run 20 laps now it was still easy albeit it took a long time. So it was today that I could feel rama sensei with an evil grin like she wa planning something.
Finishing the laps I sat down at a nearby lagoon that I had found while learning to track with rama sensei.
Tracking and hunting was like second nature to me now and every night I climb up that large tree I found on my first day here to sleep and eat.
I call it home base but rama calls it big tree me and rama sensei and I had a fight about it but rama won she thinks because we wont live there permanently it shouldn't be called home.
hmmph, I told her that I call the orphanage home but that doesn't mean I will be there forever, that shut her up.
After the second day of running rama kun started me on another excersize which basically consisted of me beating up a tree stump with my feet and hands.
All week I had noticed rama muttering things about summoning and possibility and no seal, it was getting on my nerves but I didn't want to ask
After finishing cleaning up in the lagoon I heard rama sensei call me
Sitting down I tried my absolute best to stay perfectly still and not think of ANYTHING, easier said than done it took around 40 seconds before I saw the familiar black walls and rama sensei sitting on the floor with her tails curled around her.

Looking at her I silently asked her what she needed me for.
Thinking about her offer I wondered why she hadn't asked sooner of course I would... well try my best to summon her then she can teach me in person and I wouldn't have to meditate every time I try to learn something.
Showing a ghost of a smile I nodded to her and she stood with her nine tails swaying.
Watching her I saw her eyes turn gold and her tails all lower to press the tips of her tails firmly against the ground.
In awe I saw gold chakra ripple around her tails and then it made its way in front of me watching I saw the gold chakra come together tightly to form a piece of parchment then all the gold light died down.
Looking at the parchment I glanced over to see rama sensei smiling softly she saw me watching and mimicked biting her thumb
Doing as she showed I bit my thumb drawing blood and wrote my name on the blank parchment.
Rama squealed in happiness
She grinned sheepishly and showed me how to summon before she kicked me out of my mindscape.
Opening my eyes I stood up from the lotus position and began to start the seals for the summoning once all 12 seals were done I bit my thumb and forced all the chakra I could through my thumb and into the blood before slamming it down onto the ground.
It took me two seconds to realize I had done it right. In front of me was rama sensei about as tall as my head so not too big
My eyes started sparkling and I pounced onto her she let out a happy bark as she looked around.
Feeling sleepy from chakra loss I laid on her back and soon enough I slid into darkness dreaming of my 4th birthday only this time all the villagers faces changed to kiyoshis face.

NOONES POV xoxo
Rama sensei stood up when she was sure her little kit was asleep and started walking toward narutos home base as he called it.
Glancing around rama marveled at all the colors she had long since forgotten and searched for narutos tree.
After an hour of walking happily rama found it and she carefully set naruto down before transforming herself into her human form.
Her long red hair reached her middle back and her ruby eyes glowed happily as she picked up her kit with her 6 foot frame. She jumped high into the air with the moonlight illuminating her pale skin.
Jumping from branch to branch rama saw the small hollow naruto always slept inand set him down in it.
She transformed back into her original state and curled her body around naruto dreading the end of next week.
Thinking it over she knew naruto would still go to the academy despite what the kids had done to him so she devised a plan to make it so the other kids couldn't hurt him.
When kit goes to the academy I Will make sure he's the best there that way the other students can't hurt him...
With that last thought they both drifted off to sleep awaiting the rigorous training that would happen for the days ahead.

Small Chests Are Fine Too
It is an undeniable fact that good things come in small packages. More often than not, it is necessary to trim the fat in order to bring what really matters to the forefront. Having extra bulk may seem like a good idea, but in reality it is merely a crutch that will one day become a hindrance, as it is no substitute for personality nor ability. Indeed, often times it is the small things in life that brighten up our daily lives and constantly remind us exactly why we do the things we do. However, it is important to keep an open mind, for while bigger is not always better, there are also times when it is. This holds especially true when it comes to hopes and dreams, which have been known to require a suitably large container from time to time. And while dreaming big could potentially lead to massive dissapointment, one will never truly reach fulfilment if they think too small. A truth that one small woman with meager aspirations is about to find out. DISCLAIMER: This is a spin-off/side story of my main series, Everybody Loves Large Chests, which is also mandatory reading to understand this one. It runs parallel to the main plot, branching off from the chapter titled Upheaval 2, so there will be spoilers for anyone who hasn't reached that point.

He is a Ludum Haeres. The last remnant of a Summoner. Numbered among those few capable of changing their destinies. The unseen rulers of the world known as Vesperia, and one of the most powerful creatures in existence. The woman knows none of this. And so, she picks up the card... This is my third novel on Royal Road, the first being "Beyond the Horizon's Eye", and the second being "The Dawnfire Archives". This story is something of a test in a new genre, that of CardLIT. We'll see how well it succeeds as the story continues. It takes place in a different setting than my other tales, with an entirely new cast of characters. It does, however, contain several ties between the stories. Average post between 1000 - 3000 words.
