Casper splashed water over his face, he needed to wake up easier. Last night had been a nightmare. He had been aroused at 3 am with the shrill ringing of a phone. After a short talk with Lecove he found himself standing outside of a bar which was half burned to the ground. The scene was gruesome with blood and bodies strewn all around the ground. Casper walked inside the yellow tape and examined the name tags of all the waiters. He looked around the burned ruins and said, "Early on in my research I had found a document on Jaten Fray and where he and worked. This was one of the places he worked in London. I have reason to believe this is Thoth." Lecove stood for a minute and then replied," How could he do this? This man is intelligent how can he be insane?" Casper eyes him and smiled,"Even the smartest people have a breaking point Lecove. He was smart enough to lace the AC with gas and lit this place up. Hm. Very effective actually set of several small explosions from the antique bear barrels before one big explosion." Lecove looked at the ash stained building and grimaced,"I don't care how smart or clever this was I want this man behind bars."
"Well Lecove I'm going home I can't do much more. He obviously wore gloves no finger print analysis."
He had fallen asleep for about two hours before he woke up with an idea. If this man was so undetectable why did he find the need to wear gloves? Another idea struck him. He was not trying to kill his three friends again. He was just angry. In a blind rage this man was just angrily destroying things. He was literally insane. Obviously Casper had known this, but if this man didn't regard another human being as living and without hesitation would just blow up a whole bar. What else would he do? He would care at all if he destoryed three sky skrapers. But the fact that he was targeting old work places of his friends meant that he still had a plan and it was Casper's job to figure out his scheme.

[participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] Grey is just a 'normal' human being that loves his daily routine. Until one day, he found a mysterious article that made him keep wondering, What would I do if I could stop the time? That encounters, that thought process, lead Grey to experience a peculiar phenomenon, which is the gateway to the bizarre nation of Chronosseum. The land claimed to be located between reality and imagination, beyond thoughts and perceptions, and through space and time. People compete there, which might be the life-death situation, make their way to be the best player in the nation. However, the consequences of the game will be given in the 'mortal' world. Join Grey make his glorious way in Chronosseum, and uncover its truth! Also, he needs to answer that question too! Note: The story heavily relies on the characters' thought processes, characters' interactions with its dramas, mystery, and back-stories aspects, so expect the slice of life thingy. As for now, I can't say this is an action-packed story, but slowly, it will be for sure. Also, I'm planning not too heavily focused on the MC, as you'll see the story told from various perspectives. Tags and content warnings are checked for the sake of my creativity in the future, it might or might not be included. This is my first novel, and also, English is not my native language, I beg your mercy. But I am open to any feedback and constructive criticism, so let's make the story more enjoyable to read! Chronosseum is scheduled to release one chapter every three days (for now).

And while our hero was ready to become the typical hero he was meant to be, things start out not even close to how he would have hoped. The story will be guided by the choices readers vote on. P.S.
